Al-Aqsa Islamic Society

Masha allah. Very comfy and spacious praying area. I was travelling with a group of friends, while we waiting for our bus, we stopped by this place to pray and take shelter for 1-2 hours while waiting for our bus. The people there were very welcoming. The toilet and wudhu area was really clean. Would really recommend people to stop by.

Mashaallah. Great place for daily prayers with huge parking lot and other facilities. 5 to 10 min distance from the center city and I don’t need to worry for parking is like dream. Very knowledgeable imam and beautiful recitation make this one of my favorite go to place for prayers.

My son attends Al Aqsa he is not the easiest to handle (mommy boy) however his teachers are amazing. He gets exited to tell me what he learned in Quran and Islamic studies and loves to pass by Ms.Aisha’s desk.

The Al-Aqsa Islamic Society in Philadelphia is a cornerstone of the local Muslim community. Established in 1989, it is located in the heart of the Kensington neighborhood. Salaam! A beautiful mosque in a quiet neighborhood. School 🏫 in session! What a joy to stop and pray Duha here. I'll be back for dhuhr for sure, inshallah!

Ma Sha Allah, Allah bless this community. Masjid is large and accommodates a lot of worshipers and they have a park and picnic area as well which is very nice for a family and the children

Really great location to hava an Islamic center and mosque

Very beautiful masjid but I had trouble getting in almost every time I’m thinking maybe women don’t offer there frequently and you need to be let in on the women side idk but I love to offer in the masjid as often as I can I couldn’t respond to the owner so I’m adding to my review I already know there’s a bell that rarely gets answered I’m always out there for a long time before I can get in and asking a brother doesn’t work all the time but insha Allah it will be ok

Masjid Has a parking entrance in Germantown Ave. Wudu area in the basement. It's pretty big and Beautiful. Good community.

Beautiful place of worship for All!

Islam is a Semitic religion, which has over one billion adherents all over the world. Islam means "submission to the will of God". Muslims accept the Qur’an, as the word of God revealed to His last and final prophet, Muhammad (peace be upon him). Islam states that Allah sent messengers and prophets throughout the ages with the message of Unity of God and accountability in the Hereafter. Islam thus makes it an article of faith to believe in all the earlier prophets, starting with Adam, and continuing with Noah, Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, David, John the Baptist and Jesus amongst many others (may peace be on them all).

I love that this mosque offers free babysitting, I was finally able to pray taraweeh in peace. The community seemed vibrant, with lots of small shops set up outside and ladies giving out free Arabic desserts after prayer. I had a lovely experience.
