My experience with Dr Burgess and her team was top notch. I had seen Dr. Burgess many years ago to repair a guaged ear and was delighted with the result. So I immediately reached out to them again with my current needs. The team at Burgess Plastic surgery was super welcoming and went over all the options to help find a solution that worked for me. Dr Burgess went the extra mile by reaching out to me after the initial consult about my unique situation. Her concerns were legitimate and she detailed out an alternative plan that really showed honesty, integrity and her care for me as a patient and as a person. After receiving a breast cancer diagnosis, I was referred to Dr. Burgess. What a scary time of my life with several unknowns. Dr. Burgess was able to see me within a few weeks of my diagnosis which was amazing!
I was intimidated as first. I had never stepped foot into a plastic surgeon office and I was nervous to be judged. I was quickly put at ease by the customer service of the front desk staff, the helpful fun nurses, and the professionalism of Dr. Burgess. She clearly informed me of all my options and we made a plan that best suited my situation. She was thorough in her information but compassionate about my situation as well.
It was a seamless process and both surgeons (oncology and plastic) worked so well together. Truly the best case scenario for a very scary situation.
I opted to get a lumpectomy and then a reduction to even out my breasts (which includes some lift action). Let me tell you...my breasts look amazing! Better than at any point in my life! So now I am cancer free and have better looking breasts! What a win-win situation!

I give Dr. Burgess a lot of credit for still helping women with breast cancer situations.
I also want to acknowledge her supremely helpful and personable office staff and nurses. Each one went out of their way to make me feel appreciated as a customer.

I have the BRCA2 gene mutation which predisposes carriers to breast (and ovarian) cancer at a high rate. I became a patient of Dr. Burgess mid-way through breast reconstruction post prophylactic DM. When I first met with Dr. Burgess, there was little reconstruction to do on the left breast but I lost the right breast/implant after a post-op infection the year prior. I was completely flat on the right. I felt deformed and my self-confidence was completely shot. Out of the gate, she was genuine and caring and I felt like we made a connection pretty immediately. She was compassionate and walked me through what the path forward would look like. I was ready to be done as I had already had 4 surgeries and it would take 3 more to reach the finish line.

All 3 surgeries were scheduled within a calendar year, which I requested we do. Dr. Burgess and her care team took the time to go over all the details of the procedures and spent time answering the many questions I had. She took extra precautions with surgery prep with my history of prior infections to reduce the risk.

Its been 3 months since the implant placement and I'm really pleased with the results. Dr. Burgess is an artist and has incredible attention to her work. She's kind, funny, and cares for her patients like they're her family. Her office team is also amazing. They're attentive, responsive, and consummate professionals. I can't recommend Dr. Burgess and her team enough!

I can’t imagine more capable hands than Dr Burgess. I could not have been more comfortable with, or confident in her. It is hard to find the words—and I’m a writer—for how pleased I was with Dr Burgess.. The difference between her and the first surgeon I met with, was night and day. Apples and oranges. Take your time to find your surgeon. Again, I am unable to find strong enough words to recommend her work. I am so grateful to her and everybody in her office. Thank you all so very much!

Dr. Burgess and her team took care of me every step of the way during my breast lift journey. From the very first consultation I was floored by the approachable, kind demeanor of the ladies at the front desk, and the nurse who walked me through the breast lift process. Dr. Burgess was amazing and answered all of my questions (they were extensive) with professional honesty and genuine care. She took her time in explaining the procedure and what it would mean for me individually, I trust her completely and will be going back to her for my tummy tuck next year. There is a vulnerability that I feel as a woman, showing my imperfections to another human was so scary to me before, but after being received with such warmth and understanding before the surgery and getting the exact results I was wanting to feel good about what I saw in the mirror, it was life changing! I love Dr. Burgess’s bedside manner. Nurses and staff were great. I had my implants removed and she did a marvelous job, even though it was a difficult situation.

Dr Burgess is an amazing physician and human being. She has cared for me over the last year as I made difficult decisions following breast cancer. Her surgical skills are outstanding and her bedside manner equally outstanding. She gave me all the information I needed to make decisions and explained things to me in a way that I could easily understand and digest. I will be forever grateful to her for the care I received and to her equally compassionate and skilled staff.

Dr. Burgess is an amazing surgeon! She performed my reconstruction after having had two lumpectomies and a double mastectomy. I am beyond happy with the work she did! I wasn’t expecting the end result to look so great and feel so natural. Also, everyone on staff at Dr. Burgess’ office is extremely helpful and attentive. Going through breast cancer surgery can be very emotional, and I really felt supported and well cared for by everyone on staff. I highly recommend Dr. Burgess for anyone looking for a highly skilled reconstruction surgeon who does incredible work!

Staff are mind and knowledgeable. Shelly is wonderful and gentle. She truly is an artist and very contemplative and careful the whole time. I enjoyed how clean and sanitary the rooms and the procedures are. I feel like every step is taken to avoid any infection or complication. I felt like I was in great hands and I’m happy with results.

I don't have enough words to express how amazing of an experience I had here. I'll keep it as brief as I can, but everyone here is so kind, respectful, and professional. As someone with some medical trauma and is very sensitive to anything medical related, I was never once bothered by anything said or done here. I was so comfortable every step of the way thanks to the wonderful staff and Dr. Burgess. On top of all of that, I seriously couldn't be any happier with my results. It's been 2 years, so I'm completely healed up, and I look exactly how I wanted to. I first came to Dr Burgess feeling discouraged & even doubtful she could repair the mess my previous plastic surgeon had left of my chest after he had performed a botched double mastectomy and breast reconstruction. Being diagnosed with breast cancer is difficult enough but then having to live feeling disfigured made things even more traumatic. After researching, I scheduled an appointment with Dr Burgess. I was treated by her and her staff with respect & kindness. They are very professional & thorough. I left that first appointment with hope! Dr Burgess assured me that she could make my chest look much better than it did. And did she ever! Dr Burgess needed to perform three reconstructive surgeries in order to improve the appearance of my chest. I could not be happier with the results! My only regret is that I didn’t see her initially. I no longer cringe when I see myself in the mirror, I feel like a woman again. This has been an emotional and long journey for me. I am so very grateful to Dr Burgess! She’s an amazing plastic surgeon and person. And such a blessing she has been for me!

After breastfeeding 3 children, my 34B bra was now nearly empty-- I hardly had any breast tissue left. I decided to get what I called my “breastoration”. After extensive research, I settled on Burgess Plastic Surgery due to excellent reviews and personal recommendations from local friends.

Dr Elisa Burgess and her nurse Maggie answered all of my pre-op questions. After doing research and holding the sample models in the office, I decided to get Mentor MemoryGel silicone implants. Since I had so little actual breast tissue, I felt the silicone would have a more “natural” feel in my body instead of saline. I decided to go with the second smallest size they had available at the time, I believe it was 250cc on each side.

The surgery and recovery went smoothly, and I only needed oxycodone for 3 days before switching to ibuprofen. The drains came out in the standard time. The first month the breasts were high on my chest. But as the pectoral muscles adjusted and loosened, they settled where they should be. I was able to start running about 4 weeks later, wearing a very supportive sports bra.

After the post-op care was complete, I have continued to see Dr Burgess annually, where photos are taken and she examines the implants. Most recently, the office received an ultrasound that is used to confirm that the implants themselves remain intact. I also make sure my mammogram reports are sent to her office.

One side story: my primary care doctor once commented during my annual breast exam about Dr Burgess’ excellent surgical work. Not long afterward, my doctor was diagnosed with breast cancer, and she went to Dr Burgess for her surgical reconstruction.

My silicone implants turned 10 this year! They are just as wonderful as the day Dr Burgess put them in. I can wear strapless dresses and swim suits that I would not have been able to wear pre-surgery. I have continued to run since my breastoration; they do not jiggle or get in the way.

I had a breast cancer scare a few months ago. While I’m grateful my mammogram with biopsy was negative, I knew I already had an excellent surgeon already on my team, should I need surgery.

The care I receive is exceptional; from friendly Lacey at the front desk, to sweet Debbie the office manager who ensures everything run smoothly, to the nurses, and Dr Burgess herself, everyone is kind, encouraging, patient, and easy to work with. You can tell they love what they do and who they work with. Honestly, when I visit every year, it feels like coming home. I highly recommend Burgess Plastic Surgery. You will love them too.

So grateful for finding Burgess Plastic Surgery couple of years back! The staff is wonderful and friendly, building is easy to locate, clean and pro looking, FREE ample parking, medical grade skin care. Loving it! Have been going there for not too invasive treatments for aging skin and nurse Halie has been such a knowledgeable and
pleasant provider! One can tell she’s found her niche and is being awesome in it. Knowledgeable, professional, no bad vibes, results driven, good listener and great with equipment and injections- that’s Halie. No one likes to read lengthy reviews and this one could go on and on and on raving about how great Burgess Plastic Surgery and nurse Halie are.
