Carollo's Family Restaurant & Pizza - Turnersville

I've been passing by this pizza for years. I just happen to go into today because I was in the area and I figured let me try this place.

Boy, you don't know what you're missing here. Really good pizza. The tomato pie is awesome. The mushroom pizza has an abundance of mushrooms on it. Excellent. The pepperoni could use a few more pepperonis on it, I'll be honest with you. But the gravy and the crust are awesome. Beats Sal's by a mile.

If you ever want to try a great pizza, go to this place. I haven't bought a whole pizza, but the slices are really really good.

This place is a perl!

The interior could of course have been better, but then the price might have gone up... So just right then.

- Pizza tased good. Would prefer serving on a non-metallic plate as the pizza gets a bit sticky after 10 min.

All in all an excellent place to have dinner ( got the recommendation from the Sketcher-outlet funny enough)

Omg the chicken francese was perfectly tender and juicy. Not too lemony with a good balance of seasoning. Id go back at least once a week if it weren't 2 hours away. The peanut butter explosion mousse was good. The peanuts were stale though. Attentive staff.

If you want real Italian food come here! Awesome food and the counter guy filled in to be on the floor and he was incredible!!!!!

My family and I went here recently for pizza to celebrate our daughter finishing pre-k. The service was great, the food was delicious, and the dining room area was perfect for what we needed. I’m so glad we chose to go here and our daughter was very happy with her pizza, her favorite food!! Definitely recommend!

Ordered simple, cheese pizza, it was exactly the taste of NJ pizza I was looking for while home visiting family. I'll go back every visit from here on out. Friendly service too!

This place makes awesome pizza. I don’t know what they put in their crust but it’s just great. We have also enjoyed many of their other menu items but even if we want something else, we also order a pizza so we can snack on it over the next day or two. It even reheats great.

I will gladly pay $3 to upgrade to tortellini. Tortellini is expensive compared to angel hair, and you're one of the only places around that even has tortellini. That said, someone in the kitchen didn't get the memo. Don't get me wrong, carbs are carbs and I 100% just ate a small bowl of angel hair alfredo for breakfast. Your alfredo is so amazing, I can reheat it without it breaking. It is BEYOND fantastic.

This looks like "we were swamped and it slipped through the cracks". Are you hiring? I can put the word out, encourage some people to send in a resume. Is upgrading to tortellini inconvenient for the kitchen? Google says Friday night is your busiest time, so I'll keep my custom shenanigans for non-Friday orders.

The food is still 5 stars, regardless of a pasta mix up.

I've lived within a mile of this place for 6 yrs and never ate here, I ordered take out last night and I'm Very Impressed, I ordered muscles app, bacon cheeseburger and sweet potato fries, it was all fantastic and the delivered Very Quick. I'll be using this place again!

I ate here for lunch yesterday and was thrilled to see that they had gluten free pasta on the menu. I tried the chicken piccante and shrimp with broccoli in olive oil and garlic and both were fantastic and cooked perfectly and came out quickly which I appreciated during my lunch hour. The server was a sweetheart, kind and very attentive, smiling and happy. The restaurant was nice and clean. I'm definitely looking forward to going back and trying something else on their large menu.

Their grilled chicken is delicious! Anything with that, I'm sure you will love! My personal favorite is the Apple Walnut salad. Will come again soon!

Oh, and I won't take off a star for this but I ordered a chocolate lava cake, but I was given a chocolate cupcake and it was cold. :( was really looking forward to that lava cake but I know not to get that next time. Still, great food!

Took a "date" there. The atmosphere was pleasing. Just some quiet mood music. The food was good I had Veal Parmigiano. Top notch. The waitress was friendly, efficient and pretty. I will return. Food was plentiful.

We ordered for delivery on a Saturday night while staying in Blackwood, Howard Johnson.
Our food arrived warm. It all tasted fresh and delicious. The prices were fairly reasonable given the generous portion sizes. We would highly recommend Carollo's to anyone and gladly eat there again as and when we return to the area.

We went and had dinner on a Saturday afternoon. They had Frank Sinatra music playing and dinner was outstanding. We are not easy to please when it comes to Italian food. The place is spotless and has excellent service. My husband has lobster ravioli and I had pasta primavera with blush sauce. It was delicious and the sauce was sweet and had a delicate flavor. The complementary garlic knots were amazing as they had a wonderful flavor that wasn't just covered with minced garlic. Salad was fresh. Prices are affordable. Highly recommend this gem!

I ABSOLUTELY love this place. The waitresses are down to earth and caring. Everyone that works here make you feel like family. I have a mother that has dementia and they go out of their way (even though they don’t have too) to make my mother feel comfortable. Truly a family Restaurant.

Love this restaurant! Our team frequents Carollo's often for lunch. We love the healthy salad and sandwich options. And when we are in the mood for pizza - its perfect! The owners and servers are so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend for lunch, with options for everyone.

Great pizza, friendly staff, clean store, one of the best in township. I buy a slice once a week and have been going there for a few years. Always tastes good

This was our first time eating in for lunch. We have done take out. The food was very fresh.
What a amazing atmosphere, the owner waited on us. A very friendly and helpful person.

Absolutely the best food, hands down! Rosa and her husband treat you like family. We discovered Carollo's in April and have eaten there 20 times. Their take out portions are big enough for two. Anything you choose you can't go wrong. But the chicken Marsala is the best! 😊
