Cherry Hill Montessori

I have sent both of my sons to CHM. We went to four different schools before enrolling them as we believed it was an important decision. The moment we finished the interview at Montessori, we felt like that was the only choice for us because they were the only ones that we felt catered to the specific needs and individual abilities for each of our kids.

We loved the school so much that we drove two hours every day to get there. My family and I had the chance to interact with every single staff member at the school on many different occasions throughout the years. Everyone is kind and patient and willing to listen and help with any concerns. They all communicated with us if there was any issue of any kind or any changes being done to the school. Everyday, they sent a message explaining how the kids were and what they worked on.

My kids loved their teachers and looked forward to going back every day because they made sure my boys had a fun environment where they could blossom and feel heard.

This is the last year for my youngest son and I must say, Cherry Hill Montessori and their entire staff has helped give my kids confidence, great social skills and that “I can do it” attitude.

We have been apart of the Cherry Hill Montessori family for the past 2 years. I cant even begin to explain how happy we have been at this school. CHM treats everyone as family. My son has seen so much growth since starting. He is writing, starting to read and has grown emotionally. He loves going to school and especially loves his teachers.
His teacher Mr. Joe has gone above and beyond for our family. He has so much heart and such a caring mindset. The teachers here really make an effort to engage the kids and develop them in a very individualised way.
The management staff are really committed to providing a safe, fun, and loving environment and we’re very thankful. Anytime we had a question or concern, someone would always be in contact with us, even after hours. Our family experienced a very traumatic house fire this past school year and the school rallied around us. From the staff, families that attend and owners. I can't even begin to express how wonderful this school is. We are counting down the day until our youngest is able to attend. Cherry Hill Montessori brings out the best in every child by tapping into their individual strengths, while creating an environment of kindness, responsibility, and leadership. Our family is so grateful for our Cherry Hill Montessori family.

I have been taking my granddaughter to CH Montessori for the past 4years. We keep going back every year because it is truly THE BEST--kind,nurturing, motivational, and educational! I have experienced many other schools and camps over the years, but Cherry Hill Montessori ranks #1. My granddaughter struggles with adjusting to new staff and peers, but this has never been the case here. It's so awesome to take her every morning and see how excited she is to climb up the school steps and be greeted by a friendly staff member, as well as her classmates and the other parents. When I pick her up at the end of the day, she always has a smile on her face! My granddaughter is an extremely picky eater, but for some reason this doesn't seem to be the case at Montessori, and she always looks forward to Pizza Fridays. In the summer, she loves swimming in the pool. Many of my friends' children have attended Cherry Hill Montessori over the years, and they still rave about it! Cherry Hill Montessori is a real gem!!

My daughter has been going to the Cherry hill montessori summer camp for several years and we couldn’t be happier with it! My daughter loves it so much that she talks about it year round and looks forward to camp. Everyday she has a great day! The staff are exceptionally kind and patient. They honestly go above and beyond what you would expect for a summer camp teacher. We are so happy to have found montessori. I never have to worry about what she’s doing during the day because every time she comes out she’s had the BEST day, swimming, playing with friends, having pizza day, coloring, and having fun!

My son attended CHM for 4 years and just finished last year. It was an incredible experience. We were so happy when he was younger learning from the older kids in his class. His learning took off. It's like he became smarter exponentially. Then when he was older he was a mentor to the 3-4 year olds. He took so much pride in teaching them, setting their lunch table for them and reading to them. Miss Migna worked with us as a teacher/parent team. When he or other kids did something wrong, they worked it out at the peace candle, and they learned how to be kind and respectful. Problems were addressed and resolved so professionally.
It was such a thrill to watch my son grow and learn. You don't realize it happening but then it all comes together.
I'll never forget my son come back from school one day his Kindergarten year, holding a book he made, on his own, with no help from the teachers. Normally, I read to him every night, but that day he came home with his own book that he made with paper and staples and he read his own book to me. The feeling for his accomplishment was so beyond words. How amazing. These teachers are angels. You don't always see the growth week to week, but then, when you don't expect it, this rush of capability and intelligence amazes you. It was an amazing experience for us. All 4 years is the way to go though Kindergarten where you watch them be leaders. It's really awesome. Thanks, Louis

Our daughter attended Cherry Hill Montessori since she was two and a half years old and our experiences with them were always positive. The teachers and staffs there are very patient and friendly. Class room environments and activities are always engaging children. They also offer enrichment classes after school like piano and Spanish lessons etc. We would continue our daughter's Kindergarten there but we had to move out of state. We appreciated everything she was taught and her development over the years.

Wonderful school! Our kids are very happy here. The teachers and staff are very sweet, kind, and attentive. The school is always very clean with a great outdoor space for play. The school is also very diverse, which was an important part for us when finding the right PreK/Kindergarten. Would highly recommend to any family researching high quality placement for their kid(s).

Cherry Hill Montessori is an excellent school. My son is in his final year there and I have to say it is an awesome place of learning for our son. The environment is very conducive to learning, the staff are superb. They create a friendly and warm atmosphere for the children. We saw tremendous changes in our son's development after the first two weeks of enrollment at Montessori! We are very grateful to Ms Tina and the wonderful staffs for positively impacting our son's early educational development. I will definitely recommend Cherry Hill Montessori to any parent who wants the best early childhood education for their child/children. The curriculum is outstanding! Cherry Hill Montessori is the best!

Our son has been attending Cherry Hill Montessori for the last two years. Every day, he wakes up excited and looking forward to going to school. The teachers have all been long-tenured and run the curriculum true to the Montessori philosophy. We have been very pleased with our experiences till date and are seeing first hand the social, behavioral and academic strides our little man has made during his time here. Their summer camp is an added bonus with a number of activities, field trips and projects for a fun-filled summer, not to forget the in-house swimming pool! I would definite recommend this preschool over a traditional daycare.

My wife and I currently have two children attending Cherry Hill Montessori. They love this school - they are excited in the morning and happy and busy when I arrive to pick them up. They are so excited to tell us about their day and show off what they learned, which includes experiences, trips and projects they would not be exposed to at a traditional daycare.

Our oldest is now in public school and is a graduate of Cherry Hill Montessori. She was beyond prepared academically for the transition to school and I think attending Cherry Hill Montessori has given her a distinct advantage and a tremendous amount of confidence. I credit the program at Cherry Hill Montessori for laying a strong foundation for her growth both academically and socially.

I cannot speak high enough about this preschool.

this school is HANDS DOWN the best montessori school i have ever come across. the staff is nothing short of amazing, with positive attitudes, constant smiles and an abundance of knowledge and love for every child that walks through their doors. Any child that comes out of that school walks away not just with life long friends but with the foundation and confidence to follow through with life and all their ambitions. Each and every teacher (including the owner) take pride in spending the time to teach children the Montessori way and its evident in the skills the kids bring home on a daily basis. Without question this school is a leading example of what it means to be a Montessori school!

Visit the school you will NOT be disappointed.

I don’t know how they do it but everyday is a great day at this school for us. My daughter has excelled here and is so comfortable. She enjoys going to school everyday and the teachers are outstanding. They make learning fun and have a great blend of fun, curriculum, socializing, discipline, challenge and care. I would recommend this school to my very best friends and their families.

If you love your child, do not send them to this 'school'.

We sent our child here and had to take her out after half a year. There were multiple incidents of bullying and/or kids just misbehaving and the school not handling those situations properly. I had no false hope that every kid would act like an angel 100% of the time and believe I was realistic in hoping that if and when a child would not behave well, the teachers would know how to handle it- boy, was I wrong!

My daughter was scratched, pushed, hit, had her leg stood on by a boy (to which the teacher just told the other kid not to do it bc my daughter didn't like it.... Because so many people would)

The straw that broke the camels back was: my husband arrived to pick up my daughter and noticed a bump/bruise on her head. He asked the 3 teachers at the door what happened. They all said they didn't know.

Our daughter told us that a boy (who had done other things to her in the past and sounded to be an overall behavioral issue), hit her in the head with a stick on the playground. I asked if a teacher saw. She said no. She said she told a teacher and that teacher put the kid in timeout. Ok, fine. BUT, she happened to be one of the teachers at the door that said she didn't know what happened to my daughter....

In all the time my daughter went yo the school, we felt they operated in the dark. We never received an email about any incidents and when we brought it to her teachers attention, he said he would look into it and get back to me. Never did.

After this last incident, they also said they were going to investigate and interview the teachers and get back to me with their findings. They never did.

It became very obvious to me that this school was all about collecting $$, but not providing even the basic service of safety, not to mention an education.

I am not an unreasonable individual, and if they had just communicated when things happened and told me how they remedied it, I would have been ok.

Send your child elsewhere..... there are plenty of good schools out there. This is not one of them.
