Mario's Pizza And Italian Eatery

Never had a bad meal from Mario’s. The pizza is excellent and so are the cheese steaks. If you suffer from gluten intolerance their GF pizza is the best around. If you find yourself in the Cape May area in need of a great slice Mario’s is the place. Never had an issue with service. The only negative thing I can say is the fries were soggy, but a few min in the air fryer crisped them up to golden perfection. Keep up the great work!

Mario’s Pizza is the freshest pizza joint in Cape May, I want to say you don’t have to pay for parking if your there for less than 30 minutes which is totally dank! The pizza was so good we also had it for breakfast! The Neapolitan Margarita Pizza was A1 and the Cheese Pizza sealed the deal! So if your ever in the Cape May area, stop my Mario’s for some banging fresh pizza!

Catered an event for knights of Columbus the food was great arrived on time all 75 guests were very impressed.

Great pizza! Showed up right at 11:30 when they opened and it was NY style but slightly thinner and crispier. Very fresh 🍕

Stopped in right before close and got two pepperoni slices. They were so delicious and just what we needed! My one bite review: 5 star google review, 7.4 Dave score.

Very friendly and welcoming, owner is great, food is great. We each got a stromboli, they are nice individual sized, perfect size for a meal, marinara sauce tasted like my mom was in the back making it! Outdoor seating option is nice too. Restaurant is located in the Washington commons across the street from the horse and carriage tour shed.

Best deal on a cheap lunch on the Washington st mall. Tucked away at the far (northern end) of the shops. Wow...have to say. Outstanding flavor! They'll bring it out if you choose to sit outside.

The pizza was great as always. We have it every time we are here. Was a little surprised by the 5 percent fee for take out. Probably won't be back. Seems like a money grab to me. Have no idea what it is for.

What a gem! The 2016 "Best of Cape May" pizzeria with a friendly atmosphere and delicious food! I travelled from out of the state and needed a great pizza, and the Pizza Bianca hit the spot!!

After having so much seafood my family wanted a break from it and decided to stay with something nice and tasty.

We hit the jackpot with this place! We had a few slices to give it a try. and we were not disappointed. My family liked what we had before that we give them a second try and had a more hearty meal.

So if you are ever in the Cape May area, stop by Mario’s and try their pizzas, you won't be disappointed, the food is great, the service is fast and the ambiance is great.

My companions were looking for good honest Italian food at a fair price and we found it at Mario’s! Pleasant, very relaxed atmosphere – clearly it’s a favorite of Cape May locals. The meatballs and spaghetti was excellent, as was the sausage and spaghetti. Excellent pizzas: fresh, flavorful, and obviously lovingly prepared. We’ll be back!

We dine at Mario's each year when we visit Cape May. Pizza and stromboli are delicious. They are always busy, which is a testament to the excellent food and service.

Pizza was great and good sized portions of other meals. Dough and sauce was perfect. Service is good and timely. The owner and staff have done an amazing job keeping customers and the community safe during covid with social distancing and masks precautions that go above and beyond. Felt super clean and safe. Highly recommend for great pizza in Cape May!

Only had the pizza, but it was amazing. Not too thin, crisp around the edges and firm enough to fold and hold, perfectly balanced sauce (I like just a little sweet and this was spot on). Sauce went nearly to the edges and I love that. If I didn't have to drive 3 1/2 hours to get here, this would be my regular pizza place. I am going to try an entree before I head back home and I'll probably have a hard time switching back to pizza in my area! Oh, and the service was excellent. Very friendly and attentive.

Friendly, efficient, clean, and delicious pizza. A little different style from northern NJ / NY yet comparably good. You can tell they use fresh and good ingredients. I’d definitely go back.

We are from the NY area. We've had pizza all around cape may, and this comes closest to what we're used to. Thin crust, great sauce, and the right amount of cheese make it NY style. This is it!

Other negative review's experience I can't relate to, but all businesses have their good days and bad, as well as great staff and some employees that need replacing. Happens everywhere.

Bottom line from my experience, the food is great and the service as well. Excellent pizza. Excellent sandwiches. Friendly, pleasant service.

My daughter was getting married and we chose Mario's for sandwiches for the reception. Best decision i ever made! They were awesome! The staff was great, polite and very professional. We enjoyed it so much decided to do lunch the next day and the pizza and garlic bread and cheese fries were to die for. I give Mario's and staff a huge thumbs up! And a personal thanks to Mark for all your help .

We love to picnic at the Cape May lighthouse and picking up Mario's pizza before we go is becoming our new tradition. Their pies are big and tasty - a nice ratio of cheese to sauce. We've also tried their pastas, which are cooked perfectly.

Mario's also offers a pretty good gluten-free pizza, which the gluten-free member of our family gets topped with pepperoni and black olives. It's a touch spicy and one of the best gluten-free pizzas in the area.

During the busy season, Mario's will.have a wait, but the staff is very friendly and does not forget about their patrons who are waiting.

My family came in as everywhere else was closed but we were not disappointed. Pizza was highly enjoyable. Food came out hot and relatively quickly. Garlic knots were good. Wasn’t over priced for the amount of food we got. It was great!
