The Berger Building

We loved living here for the last 3 years. We were hesitant about living in an area with so much tourism, but it was never an issue. The city keeps the area safe and clean for tourists which is great. We love to walk to Penn's landing at night and walk along the river, or down south to see the 200-300 year old homes. And of course, when family comes we can hit all the tourist spots very easily. Management takes care of the building and is always very responsive to issues. The building is great for (and full of) dog owners because of the courtyard. Everyone is friendly, and we never really had any major issues with the location or building.

I have spent three years living at the Burger building at 229 Arch St. it’s the ideal location near plenty of green space and restaurants, however it is also exceptionally quiet for city living. The best part about the Burger building is how well maintained and managed it is. During the pandemic management and cleaning staff wipe everything down a few times a day keeping everyone safe and healthy. The shared gardens and indoor spaces are clean and comfortable. Juan and Kobe are always there when you need them to attend to any and all maintenance. The office staff sent out timely and frequent communication informing guests on all building safety and neighborhood information needed during the pandemic. Thank you team for all your support. I will miss living in this building and in OC.

I’ve heard Greg on the phone with my girlfriend who is a tenant at the Berger Building, he is extremely rude and condescending. I’m honestly shocked GY Properties would pick someone like this to run their management team. My family runs a property management group and they’ve never heard of this type of interaction being okay or lack of responsibility in resolving tenant issues
