Depot Travel Park

I have been at the Depot Travel Park for 7 years. The owners of the Park treat everyone with respect and go out of their way to respect their customers. A recent post said that the owners and the employees didn’t respect them or treat them fairly because of a plant. Please don’t believe any of it. There is much more to the story and the owners, other campers and employees put up with a a lot from this person including ranting and cursing. This is a great family park!!

Extremely clean bathrooms and showers. Great location and quick bike ride to all attractions . Would recommend the gravel sites or the wooded ones in the back if available.

Awesome campground we used for our little tent. Mostly it's for RVs. Very clean place with clean toilets and clean showers. If you want to save money by staying in Cape May then go to Walmart buy tent sleeping pad and you're good to go. It will cost you under hundred dollars to sleep all your family

Great campsite for rvs mostly, cash or check only fyi. Ancient website, call to reserve. Clean and within walking distance to the beach and shops. Strict speed limit and noise control so it's nice and laid back when you're set up. 2 Kids playgrounds and nice pavilion with hearth. Free wifi. must purchase firewood on site, no fire rings. Free waste/grey water dump. Also pay by the day honey wagon service will come to you for 10 dollars a day. Clean bathrooms and showers. Thumbs up 👍

Very nice campground. Everything very well taken care of. Would highly recommend. Employees all very nice and helpful.

First time here and we will definitely be back. Clean, level campsites. Bathroom and shower facilities are SUPER clean. Beautiful playground and location overall. We had a site with no sewer hookup but we scheduled a honey wagon dump that they offer. Even the honey wagon guy was in a great mood despite the job he had to do lol. Dog friendly and Ozzy loves it here

Fantastic place to camp. Clean and close to everything in Cape May. We are spending the weekend on our e-bikes and we're minutes from anything we want to see and do. Would recommend one of there spots with stones, they are nicely done.

My wife and I started the tradition of camping in cape may on our anniversary, about 3 years ago. Our cousins recommended the Travel Depot so we tried it out this year. It was great! We rode our bikes all over town. (which is a great way to explore cape may) We can’t wait till next year.

Can’t beat the location!
The bad reviews are laughable. You’ll notice three trends in them….
1. People who admittedly broke the rules and then got angry about consequences. Yes. They take their rules seriously- especially speeding (which is good for the speeder, actually… because if they speed and hit my kid they wont need a lawyer). You willfully break rules you don’t get a say in how you’re dealt with in return. Simple math… don’t break rules = don’t have a problem with how you’re dealt with when you do.
2 . People who wanted special treatment and didn’t get it. BooHoo for you!
3. People who think just now because you’re a customer they should fawn all over you…. You want a new exuberant, friend then go get a dog. They treat people just fine as long as you do the same.
4. People who didn’t do their own homework and then complained about the lack of amenities. The place is about LOCATION! Period. Only campground truly in Cape May. The whiners should get back over the bridge where they belong. Think Sun, yes…Sun resorts would good for them. Go, enjoy!

Very well maintained, clean campground. Friendly staff and friendly campers too. Very close to the central area of Cape May. I'd definitely stay again.

My husband and I camped here for our 12th anniversary and it was beyond our expectations! Very clean campground with nice bathrooms and showers, quiet and everyone was super friendly. It was about 1 mile walk to the beach with lots of little markets and cute restaurants also within a 1 mile walk! We def recommend and will stay here again!

This was a really nicely maintained and managed park from our experience. Our kids enjoyed the various playgrounds and the bathrooms were clean and in working order. The tent site we used was nice and flat with the woods cut back well given all the poison ivy that was just past the official site boundary.

This is the best RV place so close to everything. We use our e-bikes to get around and extended our stay bc we are having so much fun. It is clean and the hookups are clean and easy.

10 minute bike ride to the beach and Washington Street Mall. Sunset Beach is nearby as well. I have a Class C and only means of transportation is a bicycle which is perfect considering I don't tow a car. No need for one. Not a lot of amenities but that's fine with me. Bathrooms are clean and staff is nice. It's all about location at this campground. Love it! I have stayed here twice and planning another trip this season.

As other users said, limited amenities, however the park is clean, quiet and very respectful clientele. The front office staff are all very helpful and pleasant. I recommend renting a golf cart as it makes zipping into town super simple. We stayed Memorial Day Weekend and had a wonderful time.

Nice place very close to the beach. Limited ammenities but since the beach is so close it is ok. Nice clientele too. People are polite and quiet. We were there on Memorial Day weekend and could not believe how quiet it was for a holiday weekend. They have a few little playgrounds to keep the kids busy before heading to the park.

Very well maintained and planned out. Very organized. Very well run. All facilities worked well and were kept clean and maintained.

Park neighbors were respectful and chill. If I want to party till 3am I'll stay in Wildwood. Loved the quiet. Lots of shade.

We’ve been staying at the Depot for years. Located close to Cape May. We enjoy riding our bikes around Cape May. We are close enough to all the beaches, sights and restaurants Cape May has to offer. Depot Travel park is a clean well kept campground. This year we have made Depot our 2nd home. We are excited to spend our summer and fall here in beautiful Cape May.

Love staying here. Great location short bike ride to the beach (about 10 blocks). Other guests are very respectful. Facilities are very clean and in working order.
