Washington Street Mall

Soo many adorable shops and restaurants! And the church breathtaking! So happy we were able to walk around without big crowds! Can't wait to get back!

Beautiful area of Cape May. Great little shops and restaurants. I am there often. Never get tired of shopping the Washington Street Mall. Parking is a little difficult. Get there early.

Your classic beach town, New England esque town square. Plenty of stores and food options for everybody.

Try out the horse drawn carriage, or trolley around town. You also have railroad pedal carts. Nice to see the different decorations for seasons, and you will definitely get in the spirit of whatever holiday it is. Quick walk down to the beachfront as well.

My bf and I had a great time walking around Washing Street Mall. I loved the different shops and snack options. I was able to grab memorable souvenirs for family and friends. And you're supporting local small businesses while you're at it.

Parking was a bit difficult as we found a spot about a 15-20 minute walk from the mall. I was glad to find a Jersey Shore long sleeve to take with me back to North Jersey!

Just loved the Washington Street Mall in Cape May. There are many cute shops offering all kinds of merchandise, many diverse restaurants, and it's a pleasure to walk along the cobble stone streets while exploring the area. We will definitely be going back there soon!

We enjoyed visiting the Washington Street Mall in Cape May. There are many cute quaint shops offering all kinds of merchandise, many diverse restaurants, and it's a pleasure to walk along the cobble stone streets while exploring the area.

We ended our ocean city vacation with capemay. Had a wonderful time. Love all the shops and had dinner at delanay's. Then went for a horse and carriage ride.

I really enjoyed Washington Street. It really gave me a beachy vacation vibe. It had a very nice collection of quaint shops of nice quality. We also enjoyed the food choices. I bought some salt water taffy that brought back childhood memories. For lunch we decided on Lobster rolls. They were delicious. We ordered them Connecticut style which was heated in butter. After a little more walking and shopping we treated ourselves to a Custard cone they were delicious too. I found a toy for myself at one of the shops a little surfer boomerang. I love it I played with him in the waves .

Cape May is one of the most beautiful places in New Jersey. Located at the tip of southern New Jersey’s Cape May Peninsula, it has beautiful sea resorts, grand Victorian houses, historical B&Bs, shops and 5 star restaurants. One of the best places to shop and eat is the Washington Street Mall. This Nostalgic and picturesque town square mall is over four blocks of a bricked paved thoroughfare with specialty boutiques, eateries, novelty stores, and dessert shops. There is a trolley tour at the north end that is 45 minutes long and provides an educational history of Cape May. A fantastic place to take the family and enjoy one of New Jerseys most beautiful cities.

One of NJ greatest little gems. So many unique tiny shops and wide variety of eateries/pubs. Pleasant relaxing area full of little surprises.

Really nice place with a lot of shops, many restaurants, ice cream parlors, etc. Nice to walk around, beach is not far, people are friendly, really good vibes and experience.

honestly nothing really like it especially in the south nj area. definitely check it out if you are down. cape may just has its own “vibe”, mostly old people live/go here, all good because it’s a home/ beach/ tourist town. Especially busy in the summer with traffic from june-august, but that’s the best time to come, especially if you like warm air and sunshine and beaches and bikinis. During the Holidays it’s always a treat to see everywhere lit up; gets a little bit busy but not to the extent of summer, not even close.

SUCH A FUN TIME!! Washington Street Mall is pretty famous in Cape May. Its that classic Cape May shopping mall you see in photos. Adorable shops. Fountains. Beautiful trees & florals landscaped. Lots of places to eat.

Tips:
- Come during off season. Everything is still open - but youl be able to enjoy yourself more / find parking
- Parking can be TOUGH on a weekend/tourist season/nice weather day. So plan according to either loop around a couple times for a meter or park a couple blocks over and walk
- Bring lots of money - the shops here are AMAZING. Not your average t-shirt tourist shops but beautiful, high quality, and unique.

This outdoor mall has a very adorable, small beach town feel to it. Except that, of course, it's Cape May and there's actually quite the amount of people, but it doesn't take away from it's lovely aesthetics. Plenty of small shops, restaurants to eat at, things to take in, and places to sit. Would love to come back and discover more.

I’ve been coming to this mall since I was a kid and it’s always maintained it’s charisma- there are so many options for shops (clothing and food) and it’s always so clean and well taken care of! There are public restrooms which was super clean. Always worth the visit when visiting!

Best shopping down the shore! Love the atmosphere with excellent food and drink options!
