Pool is awesome and heated. Turkey Club was awesome for lunch with great waitress service. Buckets available for your favorite seltzers or beers. A shallow end of the pool for laying out. Plenty of chairs around the pool and overall good vibe. Beachfront is also a huge plus!

We had our beach-front wedding at the Windrift this past weekend and it far exceeded all of our expectations. Ronda and Jeff are incredible coordinators- they are professional, friendly, and go above and beyond. We had been planning our wedding for years and they have made us feel like we are their only wedding. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Incredible venue, hotel, and even better staff.

Newly refurbished 1960s oceanfront hotel. Second construction update in last 10 years. Price has risen considerably. May have out priced some of its former guests. Better value out of season. Hotel is beautiful and staff top notch. Quite an impressive hotel.

Perfect location, very nice rooms, service is what you expect for a very busy hotel. They are trying their best but this is the place to be, so it is packed on Memorial Day weekend. Food has been better than expected, pool is adequate. Would 100% come back,

our group wanted a restaurant near the ocean and this place certainly fit the bill. staff was friendly/professional and the food preparation/presentation was great. quality of the food was perfect and just what we wanted/needed on vacation. the atmosphere in this outdoor restaurant was perfect and we enjoyed a great experience. we will definitely go back.

Property is well maintained and staff is friendly and helpful. Pool and beach are great. The restaurant was good too. We'll definitely go back again.

We stayed here for one night for a wedding and it’s a beautiful place for a wedding with an exceptional view! We loved how clean and fresh our room felt and they had all of the amenities we needed. We didn’t eat at the restaurant at the wedding food was really good!

Wonderful dune-side view of the ocean. (We saw dolphins!) Very fair prices considering the location and elevated atmosphere - possibly best value at the shore we have found so far. Fantastic sushi (Island Roll) and pizza: freshness, flavor and plating. Kids cheeseburgers came out great. The Sangria with generous garnish is “Insta-worthy” and definitely sets the vacation vibe. “Summertime in a Glass” is a nicely balanced not-too-sweet cocktail. Lots of indoor seating and a good size covered outdoor section too. In fair weather the windows coverings are rolled up for open air and ocean breezes.

Server Tara was friendly, attentive and helpful. Kids meals were served lightning-fast and adult meals were not far behind - clearly this place is well-staffed and well-managed. (Our seating was around 5:30p, no reservation and no wait!)

Only small complaint is the one or two small but persistent flies that kept at our outside table. It may have just been the day and specific conditions. They have large wall mounted oscillating fans - it just so happened our table was maybe just out of range of the fan and our particular fan was not set to move back and forth, else I expect it would not have been a problem. We had also moved the table slightly, so maybe it was our own doing.

Tons of natural light throughout the restaurant. I imagine this is a reliable go-to spot year round. Ample free parking just south of the restaurant, or hassle-free valet by the efficient staff. In late August, this was an absolute gem of a find. And of course Avalon itself is as picturesque as it gets. Already eagerly looking forward to our next visit.

Food was delicious and the service was great. We ate on the balcony with a view of the ocean. Restaurant is a short walk off the beach. Definitely recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay. All of the things are super new and fresh feeling, from the rooms to the halls to the lobby. Staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was closed, but we were allowed to go use the pool at the Icona Avalon. Bathrooms were very clean and very new. Only dings were that people were painting our balcony while we were in the room, which was weird. Also, tried to get an extra KCup of decaf, and they brought several caffeinated cups to the room...oh well, they tried! Would definitely stay again, but I'd be leary that we wouldn't get a room with as great of a view.

I don't normally write reviews but I wanted to give the Windrift staff some well deserved credit. They were very helpful with my dietary restrictions and were always super friendly when I asked any questions. I mainly want to give a shout out to Lala, Tino, and Mike. When it was time to leave our stay at the Windrift my car wouldn't start and Lala was kind enough to direct me to Mike and Tino. They both hopped into action and helped me jump my car no complaints no attitude just a willingness to help. This may seem small but it was huge for me I was in a panic because I had my handicapped father-in-law with us and we had to drive him home and ourselves back to Philadelphia. I can't say thank you enough to them.
Food was great the people were great, and bars were fun. Honestly a wonderful place to stay at for a destination wedding or a vacation.

Located in Avalon, the hotel restaurant and bar is right on the beach. It's absolutely gorgeous. Perfect for honeymoon location, or a special party or any occasion. The food is really good. The bar is well managed and everyone has a great time.

Just dined here. Good service, great atmosphere, good food. Not five star of course but, I enjoyed it.

the Newley renovated rooms are worth the price, staff is friendly and kind. Very accommodating with several restaurants and even park across the street !

The hotel is probably a 4/4.5 but the staff makes it a 5 star review - Very welcoming and well staffed hotel with positive upbeat employees who make you feel like you are the top priority - We stayed in a 2 Bdrm suite and it was very clean with a recent contemporary remodel. The pool is great for adults and kids and you can’t beat the location - Highly recommend

Great venue for a wedding. It is right on a beach, so you can always get those dreamy beach photos if the weather permits.
It rained for Aileen and Brian's wedding I was shooting, but Windrift accommodate it beautifully and moved the ceremony to the inside spot overlooking the ocean.
10/10 recommend

We ate an early dinner there. Marinated chicken breast sandwich was delicious! Mozzarella cheese and roasted red peppers were flavorful. It was nice to have a small side salad instead of fries. Great service by Ben.

Helped host a rehearsal dinner here this past weekend and was very impressed. We came early to decorate and Rachel was phenomenal! She was so accommodating and the servers we had during the event were super friendly! I would highly recommend this place, the food was top notch!

Sushi and drinks were great! The bartender gave great beer recommendations while waiting for a table. Outside seating is wonderful with ocean views. Our server Darren was helpful and attentive even though it was very busy.

Everyone was so nice. However, there never seemed to be anyone who knew what they were doing or were in charge. Lots of confusion about room service, the restaurants, no info about the hotel or town in the rooms. Food was really good tho...
