Beautiful park on the water with a view of the bridge and a lovely playground.

I really like this park. It’s full of edible and medicinal wild plants that I can talk about during foraging walks. It’s got the water full sun, shaded areas and a lawn. The only thing it doesn’t have a toilet, which would be incredibly useful to those of us who hydrate thoroughly, but then require an outlet.

Always a nice spot to soak in some sun and some scenery. It's usually packed, but friendly people. 10/10 picnic spot. Always clean.

If you're visiting Philly, it's worth a stop if you want a nice full view of the Ben Franklin bridge.

AyA Smooth Jazz was playing that day and was awesome, everyone needs to see this band. The backdrop of the Ben Franklin bridge and the sail boats going by. The playgrounds for the children and the bike run or you can walk the track. It's just gorgeous there. But, there are no restrooms.

Penn Treaty Park is a historic and scenic green space located on the western bank of the Delaware River in the Fishtown neighborhood of Philadelphia. The park is celebrated for its connection to Pennsylvania founder William Penn’s legendary 1683 treaty of peace with the Lenape tribe under an elm tree, symbolizing a commitment to friendship and coexistence. Today, the park offers a peaceful retreat with walking paths, shaded areas, and open spaces favored by dog walkers and picnickers. Visitors can enjoy unobstructed views of the Benjamin Franklin Bridge and reflect on the area’s rich history, marked by a statue of William Penn and the enduring legacy of the Penn’s Creek Massacre of 1755. Penn Treaty Park stands as a testament to the city’s past and a cherished urban oasis for residents and visitors alike.

Pull up and picnic.

It’s a beautiful and clean park usually with a few families, some dogs, some older men fishing, and just people relaxing.

You’ll see people laying up on picnic blankets, playing fetch with dogs, kids playing in the small playground area, people doing yoga and running, etc.

They also have a small parking lot and a few porta potty.

Bring some snacks, some things to play with, a blanket and you good. Pick an open spot under the sun or a spot under a tree. And you good.

This park is a great place to take your dogs and kids. People are generally polite and the area is peaceful. There's enough space to walk and run as well as plenty of places to sit and take a breather. There's a small playground as well if that's what you are looking for. If

My family and I LOVE Pentreaty Park. There's always a diverse crowd of people there. You can fish there, jog, ride bikes and scooters, or walk. There is also a great little playground and plenty of seating.

This park has amazing views, tons of green space, and a great little play area for kids. The 2019 renovations have made it even better with new bike paths, lighting, and some seating to take in the views of the river, bridge, and city.

Beautiful little park, there was a lot of fog when I went there and you could see it moving across the river. Very cool.

Solid park, a little off the beaten path so generally not as crowded as some of the other philly parks. Nice views of the water, and of the old Electric Co building which is a fun time if you are up for it as well. The park will likely die when the casino expands it BS
