Hancock Playground

Very nice playground and pool. The workers there were very friendly and nice. They keep the playground clean also. All the kids played nice together too. It was our first time bringing my daughter and her friend. They had a awesome fun time. My boyfriend grew up in the neighborhood. He was excited to take us there.

Hancock playground has always been a great playground and now that the playground is redone with great things for the kids to play with is so awesome and cool off in the pool is a plus...

Finally, a park where my 11-month-old baby can play safely and have the freedom to play independently thanks to the baby-friendly gyms, slides, and swings. Great, clean park. Also, the cushy floor throughout is a plus for safety.

My kids enjoyed their selves we are on a mission to go to every playground we never been to and this was clean and had a lot of things to climb on

Very clean. Played some Basketball then had a picnic. Baby dog ran around and home we went.

Brand new playground and basketball courts. Big swings, little swings, multi-person slide, little side, jungle gym, adult exercise, they have it all. The ground is a bouncy composite. No parking, stroller and wheelchair accessible.

Brought my kid here and he had a great time. Seemed well designed to keep little kids interested and away from some of the climbing stuff for bigger kids.

Had an errand to run in Fishtown and wanted to make it worthwhile for my kid so we made time to check out a playground nearby. I was so taken with this place I was texting all my mom friends to tell them about it! The ground covering is delightfully squishy and there's just so many different ways to play all over it! The giant climbing web is the best I've seen. I'm just sad that we don't have a playground like this where we live.

Nice park, I come here with my dog daily. Being new to Philly there aren't many places in this area with open grass that's dog friendly. Neighbors tell me they close the gated park for dogs in the summer when school is out and the pool opens, which will be a bummer, but understandable.

Definitely a nice pool to take the kids. Coach Larry has been there for years working with the children and he's very valuable. The playground could definitely use a facelift....it's a shame with all the new development, they haven't beautified the whole center.
I presume it's in the works....so stay tuned!

Very good but the majority people wasnt wear mask 90% and the kids either. But the renovation is very great the kids was having fun..thank you so much to the contractors for do a very good work.

So glad this park and playground is here. Glad they stopped letting dogs in the field. No kids playing should slip in poo. Glad the trees look so good. This little park is a gem.

Great place to go for swimming. Just make sure you have a bathing suit. Men the same applies to you make sure you have swim trunks. Otherwise it's a nice place to go to the children's playground is awesome.

It is a great playground clean basketball courts children's playground tennis court you should visit

Hancock playground feels like you're walking on fresh towels at your side girl's crib in the bathroom but there's like. 10 kids in the house screaming at your dog.

It's not supposed to be a dog park. But the new residents have turn the small baseball part into one. It's a shame, dogs have more importance here than humans. Lol whoever is in charge of parks and rec and overseas that park has allowed this.

I never knew about this place until today. Nice, clean park with a renovated basketball courts/play area and the pool is open (8/7/21), will definitely be back
