Jeffery Plaza

My recent visit to local market foods on 71st and Jeffery was very pleasant, and Up lifting to find the store so well stocked and cleaned the bakery fresh bread and cakes are so delightful. Thank you local market foods for Providing all of my shopping needs.

Jeffrey Plaza is a practical neighborhood spot. The Local Food Market offers a convenient shopping experience with fresh, locally sourced products. It's a great place to pick up groceries. Nearby, the Chase Bank branch provides convenient banking services. There are some other stores in there. While it may not have the glitz of a shopping mall, Jeffrey Plaza serves its community well for everyday needs.

I really enjoy my visits at the Local Market because I always find what I need and if I don't feel like cooking, I can grab some cooked food to go!

Glad to have it in the neighborhood. With pre war high-mid rises surrounding it as well as an electric train line adjacent, this has a unique urban, cosmopolitan feel to it. Not to mention the source of commerce and goods for South Shore, USA

So many food choices. Steak and Lemonade, Subway sandwiches, Chinese Buffet, Chicken and Fish. And if you want Raw or Vegan the Local Market is here as well. There are sneakers and clothes and nail salons and even a bank. What else do you need? Walgreens is there too! So grateful!

Went to Local Market a new grocery store in the Plaza. Read in Tribune, market owners do own the Plaza. I hope everything goes well. Increased car traffic and handicapped need accessibility at end of sidewalk on Jeffrey.

The store is really nice. Since Dominic's left, this is a good improvement on the area.

Good food crackhead everywhere people selling asking for dollars to eat

They cook it fresh to order. No complaints.

The German chocolate cake and strawberry cheese cake muffins are the best.

They always have super greasy, salty, hot & spicy (if you want), meaty burgers, gyros, and subs that are just So good!! They have pretty good fries, much better than other places around. Their frozen lemonade frosty is a must!! Been a customer for 6 years and have always been satisfied. I eat here about 10 times a year. I do recommend it.

While I was in Chicago I came across The Red Rooster, and when I tell you I ate here almost every day for 3 weeks. They always had special deal and the food was good and hot. I wish I had one in my local city, I'd definitely be in there on the regular 😀

Love their Catfish always fresh, I get mine fried crispy extra w/ hot & mild sauces.
Dont forget to make up your own cups of sauce before heading out the door.
Red Rooster is expensive for the items you get. Service is Fast especially if you call ahead.

It's expanding! Local Market has breathed new life into a food desert. Amazingly clean store with a bountiful selection of food and groceries. Fresh salad buffet..nuts and cheeses, wine and spirits. There is a bar where cocktails are available for any occasion. There's something to see!

Love the new grocery store. We have so missed having a grocery store in the past six years. Now it's replaced with a wonderful store with fair prices and a graceful layout. Very well organized, friendly staff, and lots to choose from.

Prices was decent,, Food was pretty good, catfish sandwich good! Chicken was fried just right for me and right amount of lemon pepper too. Frozen strawberry lemonade was on point!

Love this little shopping area. The whole foods store is very accommodating I was shocked to see they have a bar, music and nice seat in dining area, restrooms clean, the store owners are nice, walgreens need some improvement on service.
