Duke's Tavern & Tap

There was nothing over the top special about this place, but that's no reason not to give 5 stars because everything was perfect. I got the t-bone steak, it was cooked perfectly with onions and mushrooms. My wife got the prime rib dip and our 3 year old enjoyed the chicken fingers. Very kid friendly by the way. Our waitress was excellent. Zero complaints, Duke's was great!

Several of our friends and relatives all live around the corner from this place, and we have dined here several times this Summer. Every time was good and the food and service has always been excellent. The menu is broad with a lot of choices, which is very good for us, as we oftentimes have a large group with kids. The adults can get dinners, but the kids can still get pizza which is a nice option. We also just hosted a small birthday party this past weekend in their upstairs space which was also great! We had about 25 people from the neighborhood, and the room was just perfect! Private space with its own bar, and even an outside deck overlooking the marinas where the guys went to have cigars! Just an excellent time and everyone enjoyed it. Sam and his staff did a fantastic job. This is our go to pace at the Beach!

Legit pub with super drinks and really solid wings. Great energy and the lady running the bar was a pro.

Dukes is great, it’s exactly what they advertise it’s a tap and tavern with awesome food and great service. I’m honestly surprised by some of the reviews on here saying it’s pricey!! Living locally the prices are right on target for fresh bar type food. We were surprised and impressed by the quality. Highly recommend the shrimp wrap.

Well, after trying the food, first class, atmosphere great, staff friendly and very nice.

Duke's rates at the top for dining, drinks and the pizza is very good along with there menu of appetizers and main courses.

Located in Point Pleasent, NJ, Duke's has decent parking and hotels adjacent for a weekend getaway hangout.

I would like to thank who I think was the owner. We across the street with about 12 people getting ready to go out on a boat to fulfill my mother's last wishes. We decided to go have a quick drink before we went on the water, but they were actually closed but he opened up to let us in we were very impressed by this keep up the great work and may you have a very prospering summer.

I genuinely love this place. By far one of my favorite places to eat. Unfortunately during COVID19 their curbside isn't really curbside. I didn't feel unsafe but it was definitely questionable. If you offer a service you need to get it right. This isn't a joke and the one person not wearing a mask inside was the manager. I know times are tough but I don't think I'm going back until your "curbside" is improved. At least have someone outside and don't have people coming in and waiting in a small hallway.

A group of us went to Duke's to grab a bite and have a couple of drinks, and we were absolutely BLOWN AWAY by how amazing the food was. The service was excellent, and the owner even took the time to stop by and check on us. Don't walk, run to Duke's as fast as you can!

If you haven't tried the barrel aged Manhattan, your missing out.
Just tried out the new Duke's.... New menu is great, pizza was phenomenal and service was top notch. Can't wait to go back and try more of the menu!

Whiskey Pickle Chips amazing! Fried chicken n Jalapeno Mac n Cheese Yum! Apple Cider Cold Slaw refreshing. Affordable. Amazing service. 5 stars for bartender Wendy all by her fabulous self!!! A must visit!

Haven’t been here in quite some time. Kudos to Duke’s for fixing many areas that stopped me from visiting. Here are the changes: the website is current!; Live music from 5-8 on Friday! (Noted on the website!); HH bar pie was excellent. The place was crowded - a sure sign that the changes have made a difference. We will return!

Really good food! The service was awesome & the new look of the building is really nice. They had live music the night we went. We had a great time! Deffinately will be back.

I was very surprised at how good the food was, at 1st i was upset my boyfriend chose this place with so many other seafood restaurants around but I'm glad he did!! The shrimp scampi was amazing, not only was the food great, the staff were really nice, I'll definitely be back!!

Brought the kids here with a neighbor and had a great time. I ordered the prime rib sliders. Kids ordered the grilled cheese and mozzarella sticks. Wife shared a mushroom cheese burger.

Fantastic dinner during the times. Seating was good, food was great! Good night out with the wife, music and food. Staff was friendly and everyone was social distancing with masks.

One of my favorite local bars with AMAZING food, pizza, steak, fish, apps all are amazing quality and taste with lovely staff.

Stopped at Duke's tavern in point pleasant Sunday with my wife met Joe the manager sat up on their roof top dinning area had a great time food was great just had a great experience all the waitresses were nice we will definitely make this a regular place to go thanks Joe and your staff Barry and nancy

Nice small menu this time around for this comfortable Bar and Restaurant. Great beer and fine spirits along with a happy hour menu should make most happy while visiting this hometown bar...

Amazing comfort foods. Dukes Fries are out of this world with brown gravy, brisket and cheese. Pizza and wings are wonderful as well.

Amazing specials, amazing pizza love the great service as well place to go to watch a game or family dinner or intimate couples night. Highly recommended
