Some of the best food I’ve ever had! should have taken a picture before eating but they give you TWO of these for the lobster roll dish! We ordered the chicken wings for appetizers and they were the best! My bf got the steak chimichurri and didn’t leave a crumb. 10/10

Tasty food and good selection of beer on tap. Had the steak with chimichurri and it was delicious. Thai chili wings were very good as well. The whiskey room is a pretty cool addition. Looking forward to returning

Visited Local for the first time on Small Business Saturday and it was a treat. The food looks as amazing as it tastes, and a huge thank you to the staff for going above and beyond to accommodate my mom's garlic and onion allergy. We'll absolutely be back!

Love going to this restaurant. The food is so good and they have such a wide variety of items! Their drink menu is great too! I love trying all the unique mixed drinks on their menu. Also the service is GREAT. All of the employees go out of their way to make you feel welcome and are very accommodating. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu here, the burgers are awesome, the ramen is amazing, and the gnocchi is so good! You won't be disappointed!

This place loves pork belly! And my husband sure does love this place and of course all the pork belly options. Don't know what took us so long to try this place, it's awesome, great atmosphere. Main pub downstairs and if you want to just enjoy lunch/dinner without the TV and bar there's a second floor to dine at! Great service and great food.

2nd visit. First time, we had already eaten, but read the menu and knew we had to come back to eat.

Dry aged burger is AMAZING. Manicotti was also top notch. Amazing drink selections, with a great unique atmosphere

The customer service here is the cherry on tip. We will definitely visit again and again.

Went here last night, they have an impeccable selection of bourbon. Great atmosphere, very comfortable seating including leather couches! I love the smoked old fashion that has a smoked ice cube. The service was very friendly.

Every time I’ve been it’s been a different (sitting upstairs or downstairs), but constantly good experience. The staff is awesome and the food is really good. Highly recommended!

I had a lunch here with my colleges. Just a little farewell luncheon. We use upper floor. Very classical interiors. You can have burgers and tacos fos lunch! Of course with beer would be perfect!! Instead we are more than 10 people and a little bit noisy, staffs were very kind and gave us good services. The foods are all delicious! I will come back again for sure!!!!

A great hidden gem in Mt. Holly. Small and laid back but good vibes. The burger was wonderful as were the fries. They have a large selection of local beers. Friendly and prompt service. This is a great spot for a burger craving!

I come here a lot for the great pub food and drinks and craft beer selection (always great local craft beers) but tonight we went to the secret Lounge - Anders was amazing and sweet, and the drinks were perfect. Nothing better than a perfectly mixed old fashioned on a cold night. Love coming here will be back of course.

The Local is a great bar in downtown Mount Holly, come for the whisky, stay for the food and fantastic service.

Love the whiskey lounge. Bartender is talented and knowledgeable. Food in the restaurant is great. Get the carne asada bowl.

Great beer list especially for IPA lovers. Sean is a very attentive server. The menu is limited but the food is terrific. Burgers are especially good. And the Super Cesare salad is outstanding. There's a world class whiskey lounge available through a hidden speakeasy door with craft cocktails tended by cocktail master Anders. Plan to linger as the vibe is terrific!

I used to work at this location many years ago, back when it was called CJ Muffins (we didn't sell a single muffin), then it was High St. Grill. Now, it's the Local Eatery, which is begging for me to get into an argument with a literal person.

I really liked the renovations, charming. My date and I sat the bar, which wasn't overly busy, but not uncomfortably empty for mid-week. The bar tender was friendly, always smiling and on top of our needs without being in our face. Our food came quickly and my salad was fresh and delicious.

I'd be happy go back again. Maybe this time on a real sit-down at a table date. Dating is so weird. Hi, nice to meet you, perch on this stool uncomfortably while we get to know each other craning our heads to the side with much discomfort.

Elevated pub food with great staff/atmosphere and one hell of a burger.

The drinks were awesome. They have a great selection of beer and whiskeys. The specialty drinks were very well thought out. Delicious.

Excellent service. Food was fantastic and came out quick and hot. Husband was impressed with the beer list. Reminded me very much of our favorite place in Maine, The Liberal Cup. Will make this a stop next time we drive through Mt. Holly.

I've had a revolving love/hate with Local for some time now. They started off really well. Great service. Delicious food. Solid beer selection. Then the food and service (particularly service) dropped off steeply. Well, they're back, baby! The food this last time around was phenomenal. Probably as good of fish tacos as I've ever had. The fish was cooked absolutely PERFECT, and the rest of the fixings were exactly what they should be for fish tacos. The burger my friend had was also apparently excellent, and all four of us left deeply satisfied. Glad to have you back, Local!
