They were fast in responding to my request for help, same day even. The plumber was polite and friendly. He stuck to the price quote. And preformed the service correctly. I tried to get other Plumbing businesses to work for me but they could not schedule my request till the middle of next month or did not answer their phone? Unlike Top Notch Plumbing who were excellent. We again had a Plumbing emergency and Mark came within a hour to fix the leaking bathroom sink.

Mark came out quickly as I had a DIY failure. He was careful to be sure he had the appropriate parts before arriving and installed my new shower fixtures. He's very knowledgeable and had it done quickly. Very reasonable rates.

Rental company sent Mark to install gas plumbing for a new range. There was a construction crew working in the kitchen already, and apparently they left the door open. I was unaware Mark was in my residence until I ran into him coming down the stairs!? Seems he let himself in and used the upstairs restroom even though there is a toilet downstairs and all work was to be done downstairs. It was extremely unsettling as I was home alone. I also have children who were luckily at school while this stranger is creeping around the upstairs of my home unbeknownst to me.

My landlord uses top notch plumbing regularly, so Mark has been out to my house 3-4 times for relatively minor issues. Not only has he never successfully fixed what he was sent to fix, but he usually doesn't leave before creating at least one new problem or somehow making something even worse.

Once, he was sent out for a leak in the basement. A roofer had already identified the problem as cracked flashing allowing rain to flow down along a pipe into the basement, but Mark invented a bathtub leak, replaced the caulking (lazily and sloppily, I might add), and then essentially glued the faucet handle down with caulk. The leak in the basement continued, and I had to figure out how to fix the bathtub before I could take a shower.

Another time, he was sent here because our basement sink basin was leaking when the washing machine drained into it. When he left, I noticed that the faucet was leaking worse than it ever had before, and the next day when I ran a load of laundry, the original leak was every bit as bad as before he came.

On top of this, he is rude and uncommunicative over the phone, often foregoing scheduling, just calling for the first time when he's 30 minutes away and expecting you to move your life around to accommodate him.

Overall, I would recommend literally any other option over using top notch plumbing. In my experience, it saves a tremendous amount of time and headache (and money if you aren't a renter like me) to just look up how to fix the problem and do it yourself, because otherwise you'll just end up with more problems than you started with.

Unfortunately I fell for the good reviews online. Mark came as scheduled to install a drip pan under the water heater as requested by the new owners of our condo. It passed all tests and had been working fine until Mark came and did his work. He charged us $ 710 to do the work, and in the process damaged the water heater so that it no longer heated the water for more than a few minutes, and did not pass the re-inspection We had to pay another $1,000 to get a new water heater and drip pan. The first time I called to tell Mark it wasn't working he told us we could fix it ourselves. Another call to him to discuss this situation was ignored. .

Wish I had looked here first. I called to request that a leak in the shower head be looked at. Mark came out and fixed it by replacing the faucet handle. It seemed different to me because I had to turn the handle tighter and more turns than the cold and and the leak didnt seem to be fixed. I called and he came back out, but didn't make any changes.
Long story short, it it worse than it ever was, I can't stop the leak and even though he charged quite a bit, he is being dismissive with my communication to him. I will have to pay this again to get it fixed right and cant afford it right now. I was going to refer him to my condo association, but he has lost my business and my referral!!
Are there any workers that take pride in their work anymore?

Installed our gas stove. We tried to use it the next day, whole house smells like gas and the fire alarms went off. Absolutely incompetent. Would not recommended.
