Love Rod's! Absolutely beautiful & comfortable atmosphere. Food & service are consistently great (Dawn is the best!). Tonight we had Shepherd's Pie (regular menu) and Hangar Steak Salad (special). Both were delicious and plentiful! Dawn provided us with spot on descriptions and was so helpful in our decision making. Great happy hour deals & excellent winter cocktail specials too!

I always hesitate to share my favorite places because…well, the obvious being that too many people find out and it won’t be as perfect! Rod‘s Tavern is the perfect place anytime of day or night…any season of the year. They currently have a fantastic winter cocktail pictured below called the Holiday Mule oh my goodness you must try it. Now that I’m finally a local (moved down almost 2 yrs ago) I will most definitely be stopping by more often. there’s a certain bartender that is so awesome to visit with.

Hadn't been here in years so boy were we surprised when we saw how beautifully it had been redone and expanded!

We loved the lobster arancini appetizer and enjoyed our open faced reuben. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. Would definitely return.

First, let me say, I had not been back to Rod's since they renovated the place. All I can say is WOW! What a difference from what it used to be. I did like the old place, but this place is much better. It is more updated, spacious, with more outdoor seating. My wife and I went there yesterday, August 28th. We showed up without a reservation and we were sat within 10 minutes of us arriving. We did find a seat outside. Our server, I do not remember her name, was courteous and helpful without being intrusive. My wife and I both had the crab cake sandwich special for $22. I did look around a little to see what other people were ordering. Everything did look very well-presented and tasty-looking. I had a bourbon old fashioned and she had one of the drink specials. Everything we had was very good and and well-prepared. The crab cake was bigger than I had expected. We did not have dessert. The entire bill before tip was $75. In my opinion, a little on the high side, but we will be back!

Definitely recommend! Seated quickly! Friendly and fast wait staff. VERY clean! Food delicious! I ordered a Caesar salad with shrimp added. Large shrimp, which you don’t always receive at restaurants. My son liked the fries so much, he ordered a second batch. Would definitely return!!!

Been here countless times over the years and with the recent renovations they’ve really upped their game here. The inside is really nice now. And the revamped menu is absolutely delicious. Feels like a very modern and improved take while still keeping some of the classic charm and core essence.

NY strip is delicious and it comes in a cheese/onion fondue that is really good. The cookie skillet is amazing and huge (definitely share with a few people). The burger was really good too but the bun isn’t great

Crab cakes and Shrimp & Pasta were outstanding.

Maple Old Fashioned and Pomegranate Martini were outstanding.

Prices were fair. Ambience was outstanding.

Great food! So happy to see a breath of fresh air pumped into this restaurant! I have been coming here for almost 20 years and it's better than ever.

We enjoyed our early dinner at Rod’s. Food was very good and great service. They were very nice about my limited options with Non-dairy and gluten free food. The coconut halibut was delicious. My husband and my kids enjoyed their food as well. Will differently come back.

Everything about the evening was outstanding!! From the moment we walked in, to our server who was amazing and of course the food. Cannot say enough about how great a time we had!

Rose, our server, was top notch! She made great recommendations and gave honest opinions. The ricotta toast was an explosion of flavor. The fried calamari was some of the best we've ever had. Fish and chips was a large portion and perfectly cooked as was the chicken cutlet sandwich.
We ate outside and beautiful weather made the ideal Sunday afternoon!

Nice place, modern and well decorated. Food was very good. We’ve ordered a Jersey burger and chicken sandwich. I’ll come to try the Short Rib Strogonoff.

Best waitress I’ve ever had!! Rose was so sweet, very on point. She gave off the calmest vibe. Really good food and really good atmosphere. Crab cakes were excellent!!

First time visiting this town and we were hungry from roadtripping. This restaurant just looked welcoming from the outside so we wandered in. Airy and lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, seated immediately, tasty flounder sandwich, clams casino, appetizer pretzels, and Arnold Palmer. Thank you! We'll be back!
