Been coming to Ocean County Music for years for lessons, rock band, repairs, and instruments. They have a solid selection and a knowledgeable staff. I love walking in and hearing my son have a jam session with his teacher. Great local store with an awesome vibe. Wish there were more stores still like this. I recommend them for music lessons, sheet music, vinyl records, instruments, and accessories/parts.

As a customer of over 40 years, and a drummer for over 60 years, I have NEVER had a bad experience with this business. Ocean County Music is an old school brick & mortor, mom & pop store. I appreciate the fact that you can come into this music store and take your time looking at products and the staff will offer you the opportuniy to try the item(s) out right there.
Never rude or disrespectful and always providing top shelf advise and suggestions. Their pricing meets or many times exceeds the offers from the "big box" music stores. Mike & Sal know their products. Mike is definately one of the premier drummers in the area and is hands down the best instructor. I had my grandson take drum lessons from Mike several years ago & couldn't have been happier.

Never been to the shop in person, but bought an travel guitar (Washburn Rover) online from them. The customer service is top notch. I called them up to verify that my order went through and they picked up and was very friendly stating to me that he sees my order and it will be shipped today. Then I got a call later in the day and they told me that they will go the extra mile and set up the guitar for me and put new strings on it. That alone met a lot. My product shipped literally hours after I placed the order. Great Service thus far. Maybe I will stop in whenever I get to Point Pleasant Beach.

Mike, Vinny and Sal have made my guitar journey so very memorable. I started as an older adult. Never in my wildest dreams could I imagine playing in a band on the stages of The Saint, The River Rock or even at the music shop. This place organized everything. It is a gem in Point Pleasant Beach to anyone who chooses to avail themselves of their musical expertise. I wish I could give 10 stars.

Ocean County Music and Vinny came highly recommended from a friend that had his son in guitar lessons for over 9 years. My son and daughter have been taking guitar lessons for almost a year now and it has been a fabulous experience. Vinny knows how to connect with the kids and format the lessons in a fun and engaging way. If you are thinking about lessons for your kids, make the call and sign them up. My son has had lessons in both piano (2+ years with Bonnie) and Guitar (1 year with Vinnie). He has not only grown musically but his confidence has improved as well. My son is excited about joining rock band for the first time. I am so pleased with the staff at Ocean County Music. They are always helpful, knowledgeable and friendly.

A recent trip to Ocean County Music proved to be quite satisfying. The drum department is well stocked with top drawer equipment, and the staff was very knowledgeable, and eager to help me with my purchase. I have been shopping at OCM for many years. I have always left the store with a smile on my face.
I send my friends there for a lot of their equipment, also. They have it all!

Best guys in the business. No better place to start your kids on any instrument and Ocean County team is always there to help. They carry a wide selection, but If they don't carry it, they can get it at the right price.

I just recently purchased a Behringer Eurolive F1220D 250W 12" Powered Speaker - Floor Monitor!! NO OTHER MUSIC STORE HAD THIS IN THEIR PHYSICAL INVENTORY!! I live in SW Florida (Naples). It arrived here quickly & the packaging was flawless. My purchase receipt, was tucked nicely inside the box. Unfortunately..... after using this for one practice, the band decided to no longer exist. That said, I shipped this unit back to O.C.M. it was within the 30 return period, on new equipment. I received a notification that they received it & was refunded my FULL PURCHASE PRICE, along with the original shipping charge. When the need arises, I WILL continue dealing with this business, from afar. (1,300 miles away)!!! Thanks again, for helping me with this process... Bill!!

My mom and I just recorded a song here using their new beautiful recording studio. Mike is extremely helpful and kind. The pricing is unbeatable and the service is wonderful. I recommend it to anybody!
