Joe Leone's Italian Specialties

Beach vacation to point pleasant, was advised i must experience Joe Leone's. The experience did not disappoint. So many options, sandwich making section, hot plate section, breads, prepared packaged items, too much to list... We grabbed some canolli spread, canolli chips, tomato basil kettle pita chips, some meats and cheeses, an eggplant milanese special, also Joe Leone's Italian combo with roasted red peppers, provolone, mozzarella on Italian bread roll.

Here you have the start of a delicious sandwich on a ficelle! 🥖 Golfetta Salami & Fresh Mozzarella w/ Olive Oil & Black Pepper on a ficelle. Try it with a squeeze of lemon also!

If you love Italian foods this is simply the place. Meat heavy but vegetarian options do exist. The bread, the authentic baked goods and soft drinks make you feel like you've traveled. Solid NJ staple location.

Joe Leone's has always been a spectacular place. It is very disappointing that they don't have a customer restroom especially because many people that visit are seniors. This was not only an inconvenience I had to leave to find a place with a restroom and would have spent more money spending more time there if they had a comfort station. How come the sub location in manasquan has restroom facilities? This is a very poor situation and I will use the manasquan location from now on. Embarrassing to say the least. Boo to this situation many times over.

I am always very satisfied when visiting Joe Leones. Food is delicious and people are friendly. Prices may be high, but it’s excellent quality.
I live closer to the Sea Girt location so am there more than in Pt. Pleasant. The ladies at SG are helpful and always so friendly. The Point location, however, is bigger with a large variety of goodies.
Best Italian deli around.

I love to go here. Everything and anything is delicious. I usually get the sandwiches and they taste amazing. I also get the vodka sauce. It is well worth the money spent. The owner and employees are always friendly and extremely helpful. I highly recommend going.

This is a wonderful Italian deli/specialty store in downtown Pt. Pleasant, NJ. They literally have everything from soup to nuts.
Breads, oils, homemade pasta,a large rotating variety of fresh daily prepared dishes. The staff is helpful and very friendly. There are several stores. Find one and mangiare!

I ordered 1 6’ sub, 6 focaccia specialty sandwiches, & 1 med antipasto platter and it was more than enough to feed 50 hungry people. I even had someone ask if they could bring some Joe Leone’s home to their boyfriend as they has never had the opportunity to try your awesome foods. I have used your catering in the past several times and will continue to in the future. We drive 1 1/2 hours away just to have some of the best food you’ll ever have. Thank you for making my daughter’s baby shower over the top. It was a win, win with every single person. 👶👣💖

Purchased a beautiful gift box of cheeses, smoked deli meats. The entire store is comprised of top quality foods and extremely fair pricing. Service is second to none. Italy proud. 🇮🇹 Italian proud 👏

Unbelievable!! Totally Delicious!! Only Went Into Joe Leone's For The Manhattan Special Espresso Diet Soda, But Came Out With The Most Amazing Dinner!! OMG!! If, You Have Never Tried Joe Leone's, You Are Missing Out!! We Had The Eggplant Pot Pie, Balsamic Veggies & Rice Ball, The Favors Were Truly Amazing!!

We found this Jersey Shore Gem a few years ago and now it is a part of our weekend routine all summer long. The food is amazing, we have never had a bad meal or sandwich from there yet and the service is just as good as the food, if not better. Lorraine and the rest of the crew behind the prepared food counter deserve more than 5 stars.

Anyone else ever walk into Joe Leone's for "just" a sandwich and walk out with three bags? Lol.... And no, you can't get a sandwich like this anywhere south of the mason Dixon Line unfortunately for me. They have the. very best Italian specialties especially sandwiches....

The Food is amazing and the hot bar is super convenient. The staff is also very friendly and helpful!

I have only ONE criticism of this place.....I HAVE TO DRIVE 5 HOURS TO GET HERE!!! I live in Massachusetts and there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING like this place anywhere in my state. At the deli counter, Lisa and Shawn built us an extraordinary Italian sandwich. Great salesmanship and final product was sheer perfection. Couldn't care less that I spent almost $25 for it. Each bite was worth EVERY penny! Please open up near me 🙏

So happy I stopped in! They made me an amazing gluten free sandwich and even cleaned the counters for me and swapped their gloves. Was amazing service and I can't wait to come back!
