Lazy Bean Cafe

Really cute kosher cafe in central Teaneck. Convenient location, lots of parking, really good hours, and a large menu of drinks, food, pastries, and snacks.

On Sunday mornings, this place has lots of families + lots of little kids. Can be a bit noisy, but in a fun way IMO.

For my kosher homies, this place is a classic breakfast spot with an organic down-to-earth sort of classiness.

For those unfamiliar with kosher, expect prices to be about 25% greater than what you’re used to. This is the nature of kosher food costs (has to do with food preparation). But the food will be overwhelmingly fresh.

Overall vibe: revitalized industrial atmosphere with a bit of down-to-earth “homeliness” (heimeshe).

Food is really good. Pancakes are outstanding. Drinks are 4/5, but that’s my snobby coffee palette. Great place to get lost in a book!

What a gem of a place. First time here and love it so much! Their double espresso is so tasty and to die for.

This place is consistent with their food, service and selection. It's pretty crowded in the morning hours but then quiets down. All of their ice blend coffees and milkshakes are fantastic. There's salads and paninis are really tasty. The portobello mushroom panini could use some more flavor. The kids love the waffles with ice cream, though it would have been preferable if the ice cream is on the side so the waffles didn't get soggy after 5 minutes

I love the drinks at Lazy Bean. I almost always get the strawberry shortcake drink (made with almond flavor, strawberry syrup, vanilla ice cream and fresh whipped cream), but I decided to change it up last week and get the caramel heath bar. I feel like I'm treating myself to something special whenever I buy these drinks. Yes, they are rich, and probably very unhealthy, but they are so delicious! They also have healthier smoothies, coffee, and pastries. It's popular for good reason. At some point, I'll try the food, but for now, I'll keep enjoying the milkshakes.

Best coffee in all of Teaneck, not to mention the food which is kosher clean and fantastic! And the vibe inside and out is amazing! And you can go shopping at a great supermarket right next door too!

Love the dessert options but the healthy stuff is delicious too!

This place has some sandwiches and salads, and other breakfast/brunch type foods. There are muffins, crepes and utterly delicious Belgian waffles. Lots of coffee/milkshake options that are really good. It's got a nice atmosphere and usually plenty of room to find a seat.

Coffee is a bit pricey but they make a nice variety of coffee drinks and the food is very good. The soups are good as well except there is only one option each day. They have wifi and it can be pleasant to have a cup of coffee and do some work if you get there earlier in the AM. Their salads are pretty good as well.

Excellent Cafe. Highly recommended. Coffee is delicious. My favorite is Frozen Caramel Latte. All the soups are good, can’t go wrong. Tuna melt delicious. Eggs great way to start Morning. Waffles are usually good - tip: add the whip cream and strawberries. I definitely always try to stop by when I’m in Teaneck.

I've been getting my coffee here for years - I used to work locally and it was my daily stop. Now I just pop in whenever I'm nearby. Their food is good also (though it's all kosher, which can be a surprise for those like myself who aren't) but their coffee is not to be missed!

Very nice place staff is always amazing and food comes out fast.

The specialty drinks are rich and heavy. Not great if you're in a diet, but perfect for a cheat day. The regular coffee is okay too. The place isn't super fancy but still has a classy atmosphere.
