Papo's Dominican Barbershop

No frills small establishment right around the corner from an auto shop. Came in Monday morning for a walk in and was fortunate enough to get Papo who is the owner. Papo delivered a proper skin fade and was meticulous. Prices are on par for the area at $30 without tip. I always give the barber 3 cuts to confirm if they are consistent and will be back. Now the caveats: it’s a bit time consuming so if you can shell out 45 mins-1hr…plan for it, they don’t take card only cash/Zelle. If those work for you and want a great cut, this place is still for you.

I just so happened to be in the area waiting for a friend and i needed a quick haircut. I found them on google based on their reviews and I must say I was very happy I stopped. Unfortunately I live an hour away but next time I come to visit I will definitely stop here again! They were very friendly and the haircut was on point!

I recently relocated to the area and was looking for a good barbershop. Everyone knows how difficult that could be. I happened to pass by Papo’s and decided to stop in. I was greeted by the barber which was having his lunch. Very professionally he stopped eating his lunch and mentioned he had an appointment coming in but I could wait if I’d like, which I was cool with. While he was cutting the other clients hair I noticed he called another barber to come in so he could cut my hair. The barber (Jassal) came and did a great job, he cut my hair exactly like I asked. He was on point and very professional. I also had him shave my beard which he also did a great job. Everyone there is very friendly and professional, I’m glad I stopped in. I believe I found my go to spot in the area to get my cuts.

Because I’ve a receding hairline so I’ve barely managed to get sharp looking cuts. Well that’s what I thought until I visited this barbershop and got a cut by Papi. The man gives the sharpest haircuts and takes great pride in not only cutting hair, but his surroundings. After every client he disinfects and clean the surrounds in preparation for the other. I surely recommend this barber to anyone!

I’ve taking my clients to Papo for haircuts since Summer 2020. My client are all disabled and Papo has been exceptionally patient and caring with them. Very professional when he gives appointments and if ever he’s late he contacts you to let you know: i highly recommend this barber shop! Some of my clients have also used the other 3 gentlemen in shop and they too have been great!

Papo has been my barber for 2 years now and he is by far the best around. He's always ready by your appointment time. Does a fantastic job and takes his time to style my hair just how I like it. Goes above and beyond by Appling noxema and warm towel to message your face before shaving. Not to mention very friendly. Highly recommend!

Take my kids here. Their barber is Jassel. The guy always has a positive attitude and a lot of patience for my 6 year old. He takes his time and takes pride in his work. Clean place, music and TV.
