Salazar Mortuary

On December 12, 2023, our dear father passed away. We called Salazar's mortuary and funeral services right away. They sent Patrick Lopez who arrived promptly to pick up our dad. Patrick treated our father with dignity and respect. Louis Salazar walked us through all the details of planning the funeral and his wonderful staff made all the plans for a beautiful and moving service. Helen Jaramillo and Louis were with us during the mass and Helen drove us in a limousine to the cemetery. Thank you Louis Salazar and staff for showing us compassion, kindness, professionalism and leadership during a difficult time. We appreciate you very much. Kristan and Kathy Montano

My family used Salazar Mortuary recently after our father passed away. Louis and Gloria Salazar and their staff were compassionate, kind, professional and took great care of me father from start to finish. They handled everything with the sensitivity and ease my family needed during this difficult time. Louis started making arrangements from the moment I called. The day we went in to sign off on documents, select a casket, and complete everything was very difficult. We never felt rushed, prodded, or pressured. Louis took the time to explain everything in great detail. Salazar Mortuary definitely took our feelings and emotions seriously and that was very much appreciated. Salazar Mortuary showed great respect and care throughout. When my mother wanted to see my father in private the day before the services, Salazar Mortuary was very responsive and made the preparations so my mother and our family could sit with my father privately. They never rushed us. They worked with us on the arrangements we made for the services and took care of everything to make sure all went smoothly. We highly recommend Salazar Mortuary, they are family owned. They treated my family with respect, compassion, dignity, and honor. Their employees are wonderful, professional, go the extra mile and truly made a difference during such a difficult time.

Salazar mortuary did an amazing job helping us lay my brother to rest. We were all so devastated and could not even wrap our head around what was going on. However they made everything so simple and easy. They explained every single step and on top of that they made his services one of the most beautiful services I had ever been to.

After the suicide of my father I was a mess and had no idea where to start. My uncle recommended this place after calling around for timelines, since I am out of state and couldn’t stay long. I am so glad he did, they made the process simple and we’re patient with me as I worked through the process. I got to say goodbye to my father privately and was able to spend most of my time in the state with my family and not worrying about the cremation. Highly recommend for down to earth people and genuinely caring service.

Facing the death of a loved one is hard and painful. It’s even harder when you are clueless about what’s going to happen next. How do you arrange for services, who takes care of things. I want to thank Salazar Mortuary and especially Gloria the director for all the help she offered my dad when our uncle passed away. They pretty much took care of everything for us. Including making arrangements to have his body transported to Mexico. They are dedicated, honest, sincere, compassionate, and so helpful. Gloria answered all our questions, and walked us through every step of the way. Reassuring us everything would be fine. And it was my uncles body was transferred to Mexico without any incident. THANK YOU so MUCH for everything.

I want to do a “shout out” to the Salazar Funeral Homes & Crematory. I want to thank the Salazar’s for helping us with our heartbreaking loss with ease and compassion. They are a family oriented mortuary and like family, they were accommodating our every need and request. I highly recommend the Salazar’s Funeral Homes and Crematory, they truly are the best in town!

Having to use a funeral service provider is the last thing one wants to really think about but death comes to all eventually. That being said, after research and enquiring around the ABQ area for a quality funeral/cremation service provider I am so glad I found and chose Salazar Mortuary. Everything was done in a timely and affordable fashion. My family and I are beyond satisfied that we used their services. Salazar Mortuary made my mom’s life celebration unique and special. My mom really like the Lady of Guadalupe. So her candle, her cards, and her book were with her favorite saint. Thank you Luis, Gloria, and Patrick.
