When our hot water stopped working, Anthony was out to our house fast to identify the issue and found a pipe had broken. Anthony and his staff capped the old pipe and ran new connections to our washer, fixing the issue and getting our hot water working again! They were timely, respectful, and also installed our new kitchen faucet. I am so thankful to Realistic Router and will recommend them again and again.

It is never easy to find out that one’s water bill has increased tenfold due to a water leak; especially when it is located under a concrete sidewalk slab… Due to their strong reputation, I initially contacted Realistic Rooter & Plumbing and left a message. Anthony Burgess, the owner, called me right away and provided the name of two water leak detection companies. Once, one of them located the leak, I called Anthony once again. He came right away to look at the problem, gave me a fair quote, got the necessary public work permits, and contacted a trusted partner to remove the concrete. He then sent three wonderful and experienced employees to fix the leak and install the new water meter box provided by the city inspector. Afterward, the concrete crew came once again, to replace the removed concrete. All along, both Anthony and his company maintained constant communication via phone, text, and email communication letting me know precisely when crews would arrive at my house. I have nothing to say other than giving a heartfelt Thank You to Anthony, Levi, Tyler, Brian, Derrick and his crew. It is so rewarding to be able to rely on true professionals who work the old fashioned way, with proven skills, respect for the client, trust, and integrity; good and fun people too! AG

Saturday our water heater went out and by Monday morning we had a new one up and running. A professional and friendly staff who does outstanding work. I would recommend this company to anyone needing their services.

Never a great start to the day when your wife says I think we need to call a plumber. I'd gotten a couple of recommendations for Realistic Rooter and decided to give them a shot. They were immediately responsive and educational as they fixed the issue...with a three year warranty;-) Day didn't start good but it finished great!

Anthony and his team did a large project replacing all of the pipes in my 1960's home, and they did such an excellent job! Today, he stopped by to help me with a minor leak and was very kind and helpful. Much appreciated!

The work at my house has been perfect. I had re-piping inside my house; a new connection to the underground watering system outside the house; a toilet repair; and a faucet repair. All work is guaranteed for three years. Very reasonable prices. Best people.

*UPDATE* Feb. 2023 - I felt compelled to come back here and update this review because over and over these guys just amaze me with their speed, professionalism, etc. I can't say enough! I call and always get a friendly answer right away, never even have to leave a voicemail. They somehow always manage to squeeze me in sometimes same day. I've had a lot of things going on with this renovation over the past 10 months and all roads lead to needing Anthony and team's help. I'm probably their #1 most needy client, but they always deliver with a smile. Can't recommend enough!

Update to this review because now the work is done! As potentially suspected with a repipe and the house sitting vacant for 2 years, there were some issues with the secondary line in the laundry room backing up after about a month of use. Anthony and team were very responsive to my panicked calls of basement flooding and even came out on a Labor Day weekend at 9 AM to snake the lines and dry everything out at no charge! Very happy with Realistic Rooter and the whole team. Super friendly and responsive!

These guys are so professional and timely and by far the most reasonably priced for the service! You can tell they genuinely care about doing a good job and being honest. Some of the other plumbing quotes I received I just felt like they were providing recommendations that weren’t necessary in order to make more money. Happy I chose Realistic Rooter, it’s in the name!

Anthony is always extremely responsive and helpful. We've used them for everything from a re-pipe to a leak and the attention and care is exactly the same regardless of the job.

I love Realistic Rooter! Anthony came by today to install a countertop and sink with p-trap and new shut off valves in my bathroom. He noticed a crack in the marble countertop (which I thought was a seam), and encouraged me to send it back. Without his sharp eye my new bathroom vanity most certainly would have been damaged over time. I am so grateful for his good eye for details. Realistic Rooter always does exceptional work for me. Anthony was promptly on time, wore shoe coverings at all times, adapted comfortably to our dog Merle (who barks at all strangers when first entering our home) and did a thorough installation / replacement of our garbage disposal. The area was spotlessly clean upon completion of the installation and Anthony gave a little training on what to do if the new disposal jammed. Highly recommend Realistic Rooter.

Anthony and his team are great! Everyone I’ve interacted with at Realistic is top notch. Melanie (sorry if I got your name wrong) is just the nicest with scheduling. She even at one point called the Portland Water Bureau several times to facilitate work on my property when a problem unexpectedly occurred. Anthony is always upfront with the work and seems to always have a way to troubleshoot the issues! I can’t say enough good things about this company. I’ve had a great experience with his other plumbers too.

Levi was on time and got my floor drain cleared quickly, even taking the time to answer all my questions. It’s hard to compare prices, but it seemed like a better value than some of the national rooter companies. I’ll definitely be using this company again.

Realistic Rooter was the best plumbing company I have hired yet. Anthony was nothing short of amazing and repaired my crawl space leak professionally with a quick turn around. The automatic text notifications and communications were very useful, knowing when he was expected to arrive at the job site. Especially since this was repair on a rental property, perfect for any landlord needs. Value was great as well. He came in exactly at his original bid and went above and beyond to remedy another potential leak site.

This week I had to have my toilet unplugged. I was blessed to get Levi again. He is exceptional, not only in his work, but as a warm, kind, knowledgeable young man. This company is very fairly priced with A plus quality work. I highly recommend them, esp. for seniors. You will be treated with great respect and even get a discount.

Anthony replaced an old rusted garbage disposal and realigned the under sink drainage pipes. He was efficient and the work was wonderful. I highly recommend him for plumbing work. He has done several projects for me.

I had a leak in The crawl space. They arranged a company to clean it after the company I hired bailed out the day before the service was supposed to occur. The front office is amazing. The service was great and my sink is functional. I’m having these guys come back to replace the rest of the drain lines as well. I can’t thank these guys enough!

Anthony installed an instahot and two hose bibs. He also helped us with our water pressure at no cost. Great efficient service.
