This place was recommended by our family hairdresser, and we were pleasantly surprised. The space was actually bigger than we thought. The staff was very welcoming, hospitable, and attentive.

The food was fresh and delicious! We had the Tofu Tod, Thai Egg Roll, Shrimp Pad Thai, Shrimp Pad Sea-Eyew, Pa-Nang Puck, and Shrimp Pineapple Fried Rice.

The portions were good as well as the price. We'll definitely come back to try the other dishes.

Delivery Order - Pad Thai and Curry Puffs were really good, Massamon Curry was good but could have been better. All the items were packed well and the quantity was also good.

This place is soooo good! Stopped here after a movie on my trip back home to NJ and everything we ordered was awesome. I definitely recommend the Drunken Noodle (they called it something else), the Pad See Ew (again called something different), Tom Yum soup, and the shrimp dumplings. Super good food and definitely recommend if you’re in the area!i

We’ve been searching for the authentic taste of Thai food all over and this is by far up to par.
Padthai was on the spot, papaya salad trasported us back to Thailand and Bangkok platter reminded us of the street food of Bangkok. The ‘grandma’ was super friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended place.

Great Thai food!! Worth the drive for me, can’t wait to go back and visit! Staff was very friendly and professional. Food was delicious, flavorful and very authentic. This is as close as real Thai food as you can get! Prices are very reasonable as well. There is such a wide variety of options to cater to different peoples’ diets which I found to be great!

Our friends know how much we love Thai food so they took us here as this is one of their favorite spots for quality Thai food. The Bangkok Garden did not disappoint! The Thai food was indeed some of the best we have had from the Papaya Salad to the red currey, volcano chicken, pad Thai, Spring Rolls, etc., etc. We were a party of seven and left full and satisfied. Only one small doggie bag was packed up as the food was that good, we couldn't stop eating. Definitely recommend this restaurant for high quality Thai food and if you live outside the area, it is well worth the trip. We drove over an hour to get there and will do it again in the near future.

Best Thai food nearby Hackensack. We’ve ordered spicy chicken fried rice and chicken siam noodles with the spice level of 8 which was perfect for our Indian pallets. Food was absolutely flavorful and delicious. The ambience was pleasant and food arrived quickly.

Metered Parking was available behind the restaurant for free after 6 pm. Staff were friendly and have greeted almost everyone who passed by and have made sure whether we like the food or not. Altogether very good experience. Will definitely go back and try some more.

I've been here multiple times, and the food has been outstanding always! Their service is very quick and super friendly! Everything on the menu is delicious, be careful with the spice rating though! Attached is a picture of "honor to the king" one of their best chicken dish.

Super tasty Thai dishes! The flavor is richer than that of nearby Thai restaurants. Overall, the dishes are spicy without being overly salty. I’ll definitely return and try other dishes!
But the street parking was too difficult…

Delicious thai food with a nice Christmas ambiance. I went for dinner and had the beef green curry. I was blown away by the amount of meat used in the dish, they are very generous. The thai tea was perfect and followed my instructions to make it not too sweet. My friend ordered a sour noodle soup and the broth was out of this world. This place really is a gem and I can't wait to come back and try some more entrees.

We loved Bangkok Garden! The food was flavorful. I ordered Jumbo Shrimp with Massamon (which is massamon curry paste cooked in coconut milk, onions, peanut, avocado...this is all blended in the coconut milk sauce). The Jumbo shrimp with Massamon sauce was topped with roasted peanuts, laid on a layer of Chinese bok choy and came with a side of rice. My hubby had the nice big bowl of Beef Pad Thai. CAUTION: The level of heat is REAL! They ask you the heat level if your dish has a red star. Just so you are aware, you can indicate the level of spice you are comfortable with. My level 4 was SPICY and my hubby picked a level 7. I couldn't take the heat in his dish. I found my dish spicy but bearable. He loves spicy so it worked for him. Next time, I'll drop my heat level to a 2-3. But the food was DELICIOUS with generous portions and amazing flavor. If you don't know what to order, take a look at the screen in the front, where you can see colorful slides of the dishes they serve. We will definitely visit this plac again! The ambiance and friendly staff added to the great dinner. See picts below.

The food was absolutely delicious and they were kind enough to ask how spicy we preferred for each dish which was extremely helpful and considerate. This alone makes the restaurant standout in not only service but accommodation for their customer’s individual likes and needs. We had the Tom Gai Soup with chicken which was lovely and the Mussels as appetizers. The mussels were steamed perfectly and the accompanying sauce was rich in flavor. We enjoyed a battered shrimp dish, which presented beautifully and the sauce was also amazing. The Red Curry with Shrimp was very nicely done with fresh lemongrass and perfectly cooked shrimp. I loved it! We also had a Pad Thai dish which looked great and it too was very flavorful and cooked just right. My friends have been coming here for a while but this was my first visit with them. The Owner was super welcoming, asked our individuals tastes and sent out the items exactly as we requested. Every team member was equally engaging and it was great to interact on such a warm and personal level. Some of the things I look for when seeking core locations of some of my favorite types of food. Thank you to the team for a great first experience and I look forward to the next. Cheers!

Bangkok Garden is my favorite Thai restaurant in Bergen County area.

Thai food is in my top 3 favorite cuisines. So I'm always on the lookout for Thai restaurants to try.

I like Bangkok Garden because their food, first and foremost, is fairly tasty. They do heat fairly well (though their scale, which runs from 1-10, isn't as hot as others like Thai Elephant in Verona).

When I want Thai and am in the area, Bangkok Garden hasn't ever been a poor choice!

P.S. Wondee Thai is right down the street and they're quite good as well. I'd heard they're owned by the same people, unsure of this. But the restaurants look different: if you want a cozy feeling, check out Wondee's; if nicer decor and ambiance are a factor, go with Bangkok Garden. Either way the food is tasty.

Coming from the epicenter of food in New York- I imagined that I tried the best Thai food. However, I was sadly sadly mistaken. The food is succulent and delicious; fresh and savory, and a delight to consume. I will be coming here for my Thai fix quite often!
