Let me start off by saying that the pictures of the rooms don’t do the actual rooms any justice. The rooms are clean and you can tell that they were newly remodeled. The staff was more than helpful and courteous. I had a small issue that was quickly fixed by the lady at the front desk, Yani! On her performance alone, I would give the services 5-Stars!

I stayed at this hotel last weekend. I stayed with a friend during our trip to NYC for a concert. This hotel is easy to get to, friendly staff, and the room was clean and comfortable. There are several fast food places and restaurants within a short drive. Even Located minutes away from the heart of NYC, this hotel is very quiet. Using Uber/Lyft into the city is affordable. A ride into times square from the hotel was approximately 35$ on Saturday and the ride back (later at night) cost us $45. Great price especially if you are splitting costs. The hotel offers free on-site parking as well as a free continental breakfast in the morning. My only negative note is that the breakfast could be a little better. The pancakes were cold and the sausage didn't look edible. With that being said, the eggs and bagels were tasty. I highly recommend this hotel and if I'm ever in the area again, this is where I will be staying.

I honestly can't say enough nice things from the front desk to housekeeping. It started off a disaster because I've never taken a bus. I walked and walked in torrential rain and by the time I got there , I was sobbing. The guy was very nice and to be honest someone like me should have stayed in times Square. Not their fault. The rooms and lobby were immaculate and breakfast though basic was great. Uou really do need a car . I wished the shuttle that ran to times square ( not apart of days) ran earlier and picked up earlier than 8pm. If you have a car it's an idea place to stay. Also I'd like to mention the lady that helped me in he morning with transportation. She was an absolute doll!

Well this was a big surprise on how well I enjoyed this hotel. The rooms where very clean and well kept. I wiped a cleaning wipe over the floors in bathroom and they actually came up clean to my happy surprise. The free breakfast was a big surprise too. Fresh fruit, begals ,real oj cream cheese, pastries all changed everyday. The ladies who staffed the breakfast where amazing at keeping things clean and well stocked even at the prime time. You can tell love is put into there jobs. Front desk was amazing and just so helpful. There is two ways to get to Manhattan from this hotel we did the 4$ cash mini van that's is less then 10 min walk to infront of super8 hotel and it drops you almost right infront of time Square . This van we felt safe and used by many locals to get into Manhattan and it runs almost all night. The area around hotel at first seems like there is not alot of dinner options if your walking but there is a few options of a argentine steakhouse walking distance. Users from this hotel into Manhattan are a bit expensive around 40$ ..... hotel shuttle is around 10 $ per person leaving hotel at 9:30 and 11:30 and returns around 8:30 pm........then the local mini van public transit walking distance infront of super 8 hotel is 4$ for best affordable transportation into Manhattan.

Excellent hotel, I was worried because of some bad reviews. I stayed for 4 nights last week. The hotel location is excellent less than 30 mins from Manhaten. More than enough break fast. Wide rooms, Nice bathroom woth many towels. They clean the room every day. There is coffe machine, coffee, tea and cups. There is water dispenser down stairs for free water. The only bad thing was I found 2 bed insects, I hope they work on that as I found many markings in my body for insect bites.

Second time staying at this hotel. I think it was recently renovated. Rooms are very clean and stylish. The tiles in bathroom walls are colorful and modern. Everything looks perfect. And includes breakfast!!

It was really good It was just the TV and the bathroom. The TV just wasn't good. It just had channels and I had to buy some other channels but I didn't. The bathrooms were stinky The boy's bathroom. The lock was broken. Can only fit 2 people.

Two queen beds deluxe room.
1 night.
+Clean room, comfortable bed, nice decor. I liked that there is no carpet in the room. Looks like the hotel has been through some renovations.
+-Areas looks nice but some details are still needed.
-Not that much of a view from the room window. Front desk not that friendly. Hallways don't seem to have air conditioning so they feel warm.

Forgot to take photos when we arrived. I only took photos of the seating area and the room floor. (No carpet. Yay!)

I stayed at this place for about 5 days with a friend. We were visiting New York but wanted to stay out of the main island to save some money.
I had spent hours online searching for a decent place to stay till eventually I found this hotel. Everything else that I had seen was sketchy motels in questionable areas.
I was amazed at how great this place is, the rooms are really clean and came with a microwave and mini fridge which is great when you're on a budget and want to get some take out and drinks to keep in the fridge instead of eating out every night.
The beds and pillows were comfortable and clean. The room we stayed at was very quiet because it didn't face a highway, it faces the pool... did I mention there's a pool? well there's a pool, its clean and big with lazy chairs and umbrellas if you want to have some downtime.
The staff is very friendly and helpful, they offered us information on the best ways to get downtown NY.
There's a shuttle that can take you to and from Times Square but its a bit pricey, $10 one way or $15 return trip, the buses here aren't very often and they don't stop right in front of the hotel but there is another shuttle just up the street that charges $3 to take you downtown, from there you can find your way back which isn't hard, its just a bus from Port Authority for $3.
They had fresh lemonade, coffee and tea at the lobby every day.
When I saw that it included breakfast I had imagined muffins and cereal like other lesser hotels/motels I've stayed at, instead it was a proper breakfast buffet with eggs, bacon, sausages, biscuits, pancakes, bagels, cereal, omelettes, fresh juices, coffee, etc.
The area is ok but there isn't much around, its a bit of a walk up hill to get to some fast food places and a grocery stores but you can always order with uber eats/door dash.
It's half an hour away from the Newark airport.
I have nothing but good things to say about this place, if you're planning on visiting NY on a budget I would definitely suggest staying here.

The location is great for access to NYC. The beds are comfortable and the staff is great. Free breakfast and it is good. There is a shuttle to NYC but we took pubilc transit and saved a few bucks. They pick you up at the super 8 and drop you off near times square.
