Timbers Inn

Had an impromptu visit with friends from out of state. The room was cleans and super simple but retro cute! Brian/Ryan at the front desk was super helpful and very nice when we checked in and went out of his way to find a few items we didn't bring as we had not planned on spending the night. Will stay again if the chance presents itself!!! Thank you!

I stayed at the Timbers Inn for 4 nights while attending a conference on the UO Campus. It was perfect - comfortable, clean, no frills. My room was simple but clean, the bed was firm, shower pressure was good, the fridge worked, and the cleaning staff came every day. The lobby is a charming space to hang out, with comfy chairs and a little fire place. Front desk staff was flexible and helpful. Breakfast was standard buffet breakfast fare. It was a pleasant walk to campus every day, although there are also buses nearby.

Wonderful staff—pride in the owner’s ownership and it shows too. Every detail is thoughtful, considered, and artfully done—only constrained by the circa 1950’s ‘motor court motel elegance’. By the way—I happen to appreciate that that same elegance. It’s just that way back 70 years ago—since it was built—traffic has increased by several orders of magnitude on streets that run on the hotel’s boarders—thus so has noise.. Those things can’t be overcome easily. That said I’ll be back.

I recently stayed at The Timbers when I was stuck in Eugene for an extra 4 days due to the ice storm. I cannot speak highly enough of the kindness of the staff. They really care about their guests. They worked with me through a lot of frustrating uncertainty with my travel plans. My flights kept getting significantly delayed or cancelled and I didn't know day to day if that would be the day I'd finally get home. They worked with me on making sure I would still have a room if my flight was cancelled (again). Their breakfast is delicious and kept fresh. The rooms are cute, comfortable, and clean. The front office/lobby is a comfortable and cozy place to hang out to work or enjoy a book and glass of wine by the fire. They have a nice selection of snacks and microwavable meals for purchase which was a lifesaver when everything was closed due to the storm. I highly recommend this little gem and we will definitely be back if ever back in Eugene.

This place is spectacular. The breakfast is managed by an amazing cook and all of the appliances work well and the food is laid out aesthetically. The front desk is responsive and kind. The rooms are great. Everything is very clean, the bathroom is clean, the shower is clean, and the beds are clean and comfortable. You won't regret your stay here and you should stay here over any brand name hotel: 100%.

Really solid place to stay, especially for the price. They recently remodeled, and the rooms are clean and fantastic condition. They have a cabin vibe to them. Their breakfast is awesome with eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage, waffles, fruit, pastries, cereal and coffee.

Great location, clean, updated gorgeous rooms. The area is very walkable and there are so many options for food/drink nearby. I will definitely be staying here again!

Great little place! Dropped my parents off to go to the Airport at 3 am
They got a reminder call, the front packed breakfast for them and helped them with their luggage! I was really happy with their service. What a great find!

This is a really convenient and well taken care of facility. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. We stayed on the way to the Oregon coast and on the way back to the airport. Would definitely stay again. The morning breakfast buffet is really nice and included with the stay.

Gem in the city. Great location and clean rooms. So much detail and care went into the property. The hardwood floors and the details of the bathroom make me feel I'm in a guest house not a 'motel'. Decor and the furniture in the room and around the building is unique, specially their office building. The included hot breakfast and patio sitting were the best on our trip. Make to order waffle was a nice touch. Highly recommended.

Loved everything about Timbers Inn. Retro PNW motel look on outside, thoroughly updated on inside. Really nice walk in showers. Rooms are cozy with lots of wood.

Great walkable location with many dinner, drink, coffee places nearby. Voodoo donuts is right around the corner. Timbers provides a very nice breakfast which is higher in quality than most other lodgings we have stayed at. The indoor breakfast area is lovely and there is additional seating outside as well.

Very dog friendly, our pooch enjoyed the stay also! The front office staff was so nice, in fact they came outside to hold my dog while I popped into the breakfast area to grab an early morning coffee.

Would definitely stay here again when we return to Eugene.

It's a really nice, downtown Eugene motel.
Have stayed here a couple of times over the past couple of years and have been very pleased with the rooms, their cleanliness, and charm.
Nicely located near some decent coffee shops, Bahn mi, Oregon art supply, and many other shops and businesses.

I have not enough words to describe the good service, the rooms are spacious and totally clean, breakfast is just very good, “delicious” the location is very convenient.
I recommend Timbers Inn 100% 😃

This was perfect for one night in Eugene visiting U of O. We were able to walk to dinner, a grocery store, and check out the main downtown area in Eugene. The staff was welcoming, and the breakfast was very good. The room was cute and nicely updated. We will stay here again if we are back in town.

Wow - I’m just floored by this place. Super nice, updated and clean in a fantastic location. Plus, two microbrews on tap at the front desk. I’m smitten and trying to find a way to stay another night. Super close to great things in Eugene too!

Really nicely renovated. By far the nicest 2 star motel I’ve ever seen. The owners hired architects to revamp the rooms and the lounge, and it turned out great! From the inside I would never know it was a roadside motel. Plus free breakfast in the morning was legit! Eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, waffles, freshly sliced watermelon and all the rest. Definitely recommend.

I loved this place! It is very affordable and clean.
The rooms are updated into a simple mid-century modern style. And I honestly have never slept so good on a hotel bed.
I didn't need to shower.. but I did anyway once I got a look at the shower. And now I feel a mighty need to upgrade my own bathroom after spending time in this one.
Our room wasn't huge, but I can say they got the most use out of the space. Very charming and cozy!
We stayed here on our way to the coast.
And it was so pleasant, that we stayed here again on our way back.
I highly recommend this little place for your next stay in Eugene!
