Wawa

Today I stopped in to pick-up a Turkey bowl I had pre-ordered. When I was handed it, the young man who made it apologized for having put it in a larger sized bowl by accident, which didn’t bother me. What bothered me was it was $8.50 and the bowl I was handed was filled about 1/3 of the way. Even had this amount been put in the smaller bowl, it simply wasn’t enough. I confirmed with him the correct amount had been placed in the bowl before asking for the manager to confirm this was the amount I paid for.

I brought the bowl over to Assistant Manager Hernan C. and just a moment after starting to explain my situation he was already taking the bowl from me and saying “This is embarrassing, I am embarrassed you were given this.” He said he would toss what I had been given and give me a whole new one. I assured him they could just add some to what I had, I didn’t want to waste perfectly good food. He said no worry, I could take what I was given (they can’t take anything back so as to not cross-contaminate) and they would give me another full-sized bowl. He added, “Why don’t you get yourself a coffee or hot chocolate while you wait?” I thanked him but said the food was more than fine.

Hernan C. totally understands customer service. He listened, apologized, and immediately offered a solution. Fast, efficient, and ready to rectify the situation to my satisfaction. I applaud his professionalism and was sure to say I did not want anyone pumunished for something so trivial. It was more about the optics which is important.

Thank you so much Hernan C. You deserve a raise 👍🏻You’re lucky to have Hernan C. As an employee, keep him at all cost!

I rather come here then go to Garfield that store is chaos. Over here they have Very nice staff. Fresh coffee, no one bothers you if you are eating in your car. It's perfect.

Two breaded chicken tender sandwiches, 2 Blueberry Lemonades, 3 half bow tie pretzels and Guacamole chips.
Done!!!!!

This new location is very nice clean friendly staff. I stop by for my morning coffee and my daughters just love to snack on wawa at night. Tiffany is always helpful she is very kind and professional.

I had such a pleasant experience at this wawa- such amazing customer service by Hernan and his team. The service was so speedy and the young man who made my sandwich was so kind and respectful- such a ray of sunshine! This wawa really cares! Thanks so much!

I biked 10 miles round trip to this Wawa and it was fabulous! Almost as good as taking on 5 big men in my bedroom 😜

This place has everything from gum to Croissants. Although the prices are a bit high, I love everything they have there. I will visit again.

Their chicken noodle soup, and Italian sub, lobster bisque soup is all that most All Wawa's bathrooms are very clean 👌🏾 and staff is always on point unlike 711

The store is brand new and opened on memorial weekend and still was able to keep most of the customers happy !! It will only get better from here !!!

A good place to grab something quick

So glad they opened a Wawa in Hudson county! My go-to spot for little snacks/meals (and a little bonus, very solid gas prices!!!)
