It was full when we got there and the coffee and empanadas were awesome. Was definitely a satisfying breakfast.
People were nice and helpful.

There's absolutely nothing negative I can say about this little cafe. I love it. It feels like home every time I come back to North Bergen. Their quality always remains the same and they're so fast. Best croquettas around!

Great bakery located in North Bergen! The morning staff is professional, attentive, and extremely welcoming. They always greet their costumers with a warm smile. I especially love their natural blend juices and breakfast sandwiches :) 10/10 all around!!!

This review is for the new refurbished North Bergen location. I was so happy to be able to at least be able to order a Pan con Bistec without having to explain exactly how it should be made! Since adopting the format of the rest of the restaurants it is an improvement in service, food and atmosphere. The Pan con Bistec was excellent and is the quality of food I have come to expect from the line of Cafés.

I had a very nice experience with the employees, they’re very nice and efficient. I like the atmosphere In the place. The food is very good and delicious, best place in Bergenline to get a nice breakfast and the smoothies are very delicious and natural ingredients. ❤

An amazing transformation on this local spot. What was before Sweet Cortaditos, took a rebranding to Cortaditos and it’s better than ever. This place is a little gem. They have their own creative coffee beverages inspired in the Cuban tradition. It was recently revamped and it looks really striking. The service is also really great. Their servers are genuinely friendly and accommodating. Jenny, Duvier and Ivonne come to mind. There is no better way to start your day than getting a cortadito mulato and a pastry while being greeted by these beautiful people.

I've lived in the tri state area now 14 years, being a Miami native I know what Cuban food should taste like, found this spot looking for a colada, and nor only was the colada superb they had vegan options! I tried the Cuban Vegano, and 10/10! Definitely coming back when traveling this area. The staff was excellent! Place was superbly clean, the atmosphere made me feel like I was a kid back in Hialeah! I love how friendly their staff is, they know the client’s name and order, the music, and of course, the food. We love the mini pastelitos, the croquetas and the pan con mantequilla. Great ambiance and food at the local Cuban joint. Love it!

This place serves up excellent coffee and food—I highly recommend if you are in the neighborhood. The menu consists some great staple espresso options, like cortaditos, cappuccinos, lattes, etc., but also has some unique spinoffs like the Cafe Mojito and the Cortadito Nutella.
Other must-tries are the empanadas, omelette sandwich with everything (con todo), and their cuban sandwich (which my cuban father-in-law says is one of the best he's had).
Then you have some tasty dessert options like the tres leches, flan, rice pudding, and many others. As a pescaterian, I appreciate their tuna sandwich option. On a hot day, few things hit the spot like their lemonade and their watermelon drink.
Service is quick and speedy. The owner is super friendly and courteous. If your in the mood for some cuban classics done right, as well as a few modern twists on familiar dishes and drinks, I definitely recommend Sweets and Cortaditos.

This place is was so nice. The empanadas and Latte was amazing! I need to point out the Ropa vieja and chicken empanadas rating 20/10! Will definitely be visiting this place more often! Love the vibe and service! Felt like Cuba!

Love this place! Everything is fresh and tasty. It always feels like a treat whenever I come here. The orange juice is the best I've had and I love their fresh fruit. Lots of choices for breakfast and lunch :)
