North Clackamas Schools

Great school district

Three stars is very generous. Today, 2/24/22 my son's schools were delayed and then decided to close for the day. I understand it's for the safety of our children/students, just a little snow, you are pulling all the students out of school the entire day? Teachers and staff are taking lots of "breaks" these days.

In reading of the new Bond proposal for the North Clackamas School District I find it being taken for granted that it is expected to pass. The over crowding issue is a direct result of the school closures that have been instituted in the district. it is a shame to ask voters for more money when the District has created most of their own problems. I cannot and will not support ANOTHER tax bond for NC schools. Use the money you have in a better, more judicious, manner and stop taxing us to death!

If I could give this district no stars I would!!! Worst district you could ever put your kids in! If you have a child that needs to be in IEP run far and fast away from this district! All they care about is numbers and pushing your kid through weather they pass or not!!! Just setting kids up to be failures and burdens on society! They all act like their untouchable and really don't care what you have to say about anything.

As a licensed teacher moving to the state of Oregon do NOT even try to contact this district! I was met with nothing but disrespect and disregard when asking questions about the district to see about working there. They make no time to be helpful but direct you to their website instead- which didn’t have the answers I was looking for. Left an extremely bad taste in my mouth. If the spokesperson for this district is so incredibly rude to people they’ve never met, how would they act meeting someone new? What other kinda of people does this district employ? Very off putting experience. Be cautious.

I missed the cut off date for my kiddo to be enrolled in hybrid learning instead of distance learning and now she's stuck at home for the rest of the school year. Way to ruin the rest of her second grade year, she was looking forward to seeing her friends in school. I can't believe there's no waiting list to at least put her on in case another kid withdraws from the hybrid program and frees up a space. Distance learning is a joke and my child is so far behind she'll probably have to repeat the second grade when we move this summer to a different school district.

Where is the public outrage and lawsuits against this school? You're letting disabled children be harassed by abled students? Students being bullied for religious beliefs? That is a HATE CRIME. For the kids sake I hope this is resolved.

Do not work here. You get more appreciation for hard work and understanding from a Drill Sergeant. Very political "left wing" culture and atmosphere at every level. The union for support staff is a joke. HR personnel are vindictive toward staff that have health problems. Administrators act like they are concerned and compassionate to your own well being, and will dismiss facts if suoervisors and co workers are tatheting and creating toxic work environments.
