As with everything this park had its pros and cons but in majority, there were a couple more pros here.
Cons: #1. For the size of the entire area, the play structure was a bit small with only 2 slides (one of which was a double) and not a lot of room if more than 2 kids showed up.
Pros: #1. Despite the small playground, there is a giant field which my son loved to run wild in with his tennis ball LOL. While there we witnessed a soccer game unfold involving quite a few people.
#2. Although the play structure is small, they also have 2 swings, 2 infant swings, a tire swing, monkey bars, and a giant musical xylophone (so it's not a small area all together, only is small if you go by the size of the play structure.)
#3. My favorite part was the amount of lighting this park had. It started getting dark around 6:30pm when suddenly small lights throughout the playground area and walkways lit up which was nice. Not too long thereafter, when the soccer game started to get underway, giant football/baseball stadium lights turned on above our heads really lighting the place up. I was a lot less worried about it getting dark outside and being with a 4 year old. Was a lot easier to walk back to the car and not be a nervous wreck that someone might jump out at us LOL.
My son had a blast which is an even bigger plus!

Good grounds. Very clean. Softball teams playing on a Sunday. It has a bathroom, drinking fountain (decent tasting water for Portland) and gorgous green grass!

This is such a beautiful park. I love it so much when I come here at least once a week. I definitely recommend coming here. It's super friendly. There's no tents or anything anywhere. A great place to just take a stroll and chill.

I live very near to this park and love it. Most the neighbors help with subtle upkeep like picking up trash when we see it and getting rid of fallen branches. City of Portland does a lot to, like they do with all their parks. And the best thing about it is that it's not ridden with homeless camps. But we have found needles on the play structures a few times so be sure to check it all out before letting your kids play.

Beautiful park! Great place to walk your dog and I always run into nice people. Can get busy on late afternoons for sporting events on Thursdays or Fridays. Not very often though

Love it the park is quiet the only problem people letting their dogs off leash when their is a leash law. Not cool to do that some people are afraid of dogs.

Great place for kids. Soccer games on the weekends. Had my sons birthday party here and it was awesome! Baseball field with actual bases and home plus pitchers mound and seats for an audience, toys are close behind bleachers.

Beautiful park. It's lovely it's peaceful, what more can I say?? It's clean too, which was a pleasant surprise, considering my area. But it's much cleaner than some others I know of.

I played babe Ruth baseball here for 3 years and for me is a great place with many many memories from my teen age years.and i smile every time I remember throwing 13 strike outs of the standard 18 in a 6 inning game .4 pop outs were recorded leaving 1 out that basically didn't even make it half way to me on the mound.and he got thrown out at first by me,who needs a team with that kinda sport action hero like myself ,,,,i was referred to as hippy on the mound ,,,,,as per my long hair

Great park. Open spaces, quiet neighborhood, good play structures, picnic tables , best part is that the new expansion is in the budget and the plans are getting approved for a huge upgrade!

It's a park. Grass, trees, dog friendly, and big. I enjoy looking at it as I go to work maintenance on a house in the neighborhood.

One of my favorite parks to play ball at, 4 hoops, encompassing one court makes for a great group mentality! Plus the people watching, Oi Vey!
