Recently shot a wedding at the Hackensack Clerk's Office and was thoroughly impressed. The staff was professional and helpful, making everything run smoothly. s. A great venue for couples wanting a simple, heartfelt ceremony. Highly recommend for both couples and photographers!

My six years old son had to renew the passport, and we got helped by Elena Pascali (window 5), who was very kind ,helpful and in short of time we renewed his passport. I’m so happy that this great people exist and make your life easier. My son was happy taking the picture with her . We appreciate her help today. Thank you Elena !

I always walk into government offices and think “great.. can’t wait to waste 4 hours of my day in this building filled with people with that stereotypical government worker attitude.”. Boy was i wrong. I walked in and was immediately greeted with a smile from Elena, at the passport agency. She helped me from start to finish with my passport application and it was beyond easy thanks to her. She was the sweetest woman and made my entire day.

First of, you don't need an appointment to get your passport. I got my passport last year after waiting a few weeks until my scheduled appointment date. The website now states that walk-ins are welcome. The passport process couldn't be more smooth and was even better than the same process at the post office. I definitely recommend coming here to get your passport if you're within driving distance. When I arrived, there was nobody in line except me so the few ladies there were so patient and helpful. The DMV has a few things or two to learn from this office!

I read the reviews before heading over to get my passport and seeing how many people said that Elena was great to work with, I was hoping to get her. I unknowingly walked up to her window and was happy when I saw her name! Not only is she super sweet and friendly but she stayed 20 minutes past closing to help me get my application in. Because we didn’t know we needed a money order so it took longer than we thought. It was certainly a pleasure! Give that woman a raise! 🤣 Thanks Elena! :)

Very clean office. We went for my daughter passport, Elena was the clerk who helped us, very sweet, very patient with my daughter. We got a beautiful smile for the picture.

My 16 year old son needed to renew his passport for an upcoming trip overseas. We were very confused on what we needed to do since he was now eligible for the 10 year passport. Elena (window 5) was so helpful, patient and kind to us. We asked a million questions and she answered everyone of them with a smile. She helped us with the paperwork and processed our forms in no time. Thank you Elena!

She effortlessly guided my family members through the entire passport application process, answering our questions with patience and genuine care. Elena's kindness and professionalism truly made a lasting impression. The office was clean and well-maintained. The security guards were also really friendly! Overall great experience.

I walked in here today thinking it was going to be an hour to two hour process! I was PLEASANTLY SURPRISED !!!!! The Notary department was extremely kind and quick on their feet! I was in and out within 25 minutes. ( we were chit chatting a bit as well which was accounted in that time ) Either way it was a pleasant experience from the parking security , to door security & front desk ! Thank you for being amazing !! I’m now an official notary for the state of New Jersey !! Yes !!

This office is an up side down experience compared to what I had last week with Fort Lee post office!! Love the staff there! Usually I expected people are always angry for such place like VMD and passport renew and kind of impatient to an Asian woman with her young son. But this building has magic! EVERYONE is so nice and helpful! I was there with my 5 yr old son for his passport renew. In and out 15min. Wow!!! I will definitely recommend this office for minor passport applications and renew. Walk-in is welcome and appointment online is NOT a must. Public parking is free for an hour…and the staff is usually very efficient that you don’t even need to stay more than 20min there!!!

Good lord! It took me less than fifteen mins to get my passport renewed! They were so friendly and super nice. I have my application filled out without signing it ready to go. They took my picture since I didn’t have one and the process was so very easy!! Come here for your passport needs!

Nice and easy process honestly. Got my passport and my picture taken here, no issues at all. The only confusing part was that I was 18 at the time and they still required a parent or legal guardian with me for certain signatures. Pretty sure its just what they are told and not their fault. Would recommend.

Oh my goodness! The best service! I went in to get passports for my 2 sons, but I had done both applications in blue ink, I had no idea it was supposed to be "black ink" only. But the ladies there helped me so graciously and I had done the application a while back so I had my old address on them and they helped me redo everything, twice. It was unreal, I wanted to leave and come back another day but they didn't give up on me, especially Susan. It was the end of the day and after fighting through traffic to get there after getting my kids from school, Susan and Julia definitely made my day with their great attitudes and everything they did for me that day! Thank you Julia Knopp and Sue! I will never forget your names! :)

1 of the best and fastest immigration office i ever been to. Didn't have to wait and the staff were very friendly and actually were smiling. They were playing with my 3 years old boy since he wasn't in a great mood. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

My husband and I went to renew our passports today. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful, service was excellent.

Fast service for getting your passport (new or renewed). Friendly clerks that greet you with a smile on their face. We were in and out in 10 minutes.Free parking garage. Highly recommended.
