Shaving Art Barbershop

I am a Physician Assistant who recently went on Paternity... and I always wanted a mohawk with a nice fade / scalp designs. It was easy enough to find a place to make the mohawk and dye it, but no one could tell me where I could get to the designs I wanted. Luckily I found Shaving Arts. I went in there and had Wanny as a stylist. Without any question, he went right to work and together we came up with some awesome ideas for design. Including an EKG reading which I have gotten tons of compliments on.

Everyone there was really cool and welcoming. I recommend this place for anyone who is looking to up their hair game! Thanks again Wanny for helping me scratch one off my bucket-list!

Went to Shaving Art for the first time today and it was a great experience! I got their 20 minutes early and they started as soon as I got their. David was great and you can tell he put extra effort to my haircut compared to most barbers. All the barbers were nice and professional. I will certainly be coming back here!

These guys never disappoint , I’ve been going to shaving arts for about a year and a half now consistently for my weekly cut and they’re always professional & on point with every thing they do.My barber Soto always has me 1000% happier & fresher than when i walked In!!! This man takes his time and is precise with every cut!!! I’m always satisfied with my haircut! Overall the shop has a great atmosphere, They love doing what they do so you’ll never get a bad vibe here, always positive energy!! love visiting every week. This is definitely a shop I recommend!!!

Called hoping for a last minute appointment for my boyfriend and they told us to come right in! Not only were they extremely clean and professional, our barber was so detailed, taking his time and really showing his love and passion for his job. The guys there were also awesome to talk to while I waited, an added bonus. My boyfriend left so happy, with a fresh new haircut and a new barber to return to . Five stars for sure!

Called this shop on a Sunday because my boyfriend desperately needed a haircut. They took him in right away. He was very meticulous and the shop was clean. The hair cut was incredible. We’ll definitely be going back.

These reviews don’t lie. I scheduled my first appointment with David a week ago based on the reviews and walked out of the barbershop feeling like a million bucks. He takes his time and really focuses on your haircut. Hands down one of the best haircuts I have ever received. The environment of the barbershop is also clean and filled with good people. 10/10

Used to bouncing around from barber to barber I first came across Shaving Art Barbershop two years ago and haven’t gone anywhere else ever since. I would consider myself a hard to please client but Gabe’s attention to detail and love for his craft is second to none. I enjoy not having to worry about my barbers mood and knowing that I’ll continue to get a fresh cut time after time. Although Gabe is my go to guy I also see a lot of the other barbers have happy regular clients as well. Everyone’s professional when it comes to their service but very laid back and easy to talk to. Their booking system in their website also makes it very easy to book an appointment so you don’t have to worry about waiting for your turn. Show up when it’s your time and you’re set. This is specially convenient during covid time. Anyway I highly recommend it.

David is an awesome Barber. He was able to squeeze me in during the Christmas rush when his schedule was fully booked and was nothing but courteous and professional with his cut. The prices are reasonable and the service is outstanding, I will definitely be going to David next time I’m in town and need a haircut.

I needed a haircut really bad before going back to school and I came here leaving like a new person. The barber Will takes his time and makes sure he gets you the look that you want (which I feel like not a lot of barbers do around here). Everyone was so friendly and I highly recommend this barber shop to anyone. 11/10 experience.

David is a meticulous and very driven barber, the quality of his work always shows in the finished product. Great conversation and welcoming atmosphere make this one of the best barber shops I’ve had the pleasure of walking into. Walk in looking like a mess and come out ready to take on he works with a fresh new look!

I didn't get a cut there but I got a facial done by Jenn. She was amazing. I've never really done much skin care as a guy but I definitely felt a lot cleaner and I could feel my face felt instantly healthier. The guys working there were also doing some solid cuts and I might have to come back and get a cut. Jenn was very professional and accommodating to my comfort. My nose was covered in blackheads and now I can barely see one on there. 11/10 I am definitely going back to her when I need my face freshened up.

I typically don’t like to try barbers out without prior recommendation but today I took a shot with Wanny and it was the best decision I’ve made all week! He has an artistic and precise touch, is very accommodating, and is friendly. I wish I knew how to post pictures but trust me, I looked scuffed going in the shop and came out feeling sensational! David: simply the "GOAT" of barbershops!

I've been to many barbers, but David's sense/ability of style, skill set, and vision of how certain hairstyles or haircuts, synchronize with a person's personality and look, are truly a gift. This was my first time, and I thought I'd give David a shot. The minute I walked in, he initiated a welcoming conversation and made me feel comfortable. David's knowledge, passion, and awareness of "hairstyle" trends is undoubtedly second to none. When I got on that chair, David asked what kind of haircut I desired. After being "professed" about his knowledge, I suggested David style my hair according to what he thinks and feels fits, and matches my look and personality. Boy, did he deliver. David possesses an immense attention to detail, an awareness of using which machine or even a scissor cut when, and meanwhile, engaging in funny and humorous banter. He uses various "tools" to ensure his client receives the best look. Will certainly be coming back. Thanks again, David!

I’ve been going here for a while and always leave satisfied with my haircut. This place is way better than “in the cut” down the street and is almost half the price. I went in today and got a free haircut because I let David’s girlfriend practice on me and it came out surprisingly clean. Come here for great conversation, quality haircut, and a good time.

David hooked me up with an amazing haircut and shave. I really appreciated the attention to detail he displayed during my entire visit. The hot towel shave with the old school razor blade was also on point. I felt like it was at a spa. I've been getting daily compliments on how great my beard looks and it's all thanks to David. I highly recommend Shaving Art and especially David if you're in the area and looking for a barber.

New location but same great service. I've known David since his business was in Hackensack. He delivers everything you want from a barbershop experience: consistently great hair and beard shape ups and a relaxed, chill atmosphere. I've seen him work with clientele young and old, and I cant recommend him more.

Very clean shop full of professionals who perfected their craft and are graceful with the clippers. I decided to come here because my former barber was terrible with time commitments, and Shaving Art is very punctual with theirs. David is a pro and Will is great, too.

Today I visited Shaving Art Barbershop and my experience was impeccable. Great customer service from each and every barber. One particular barber caught my eye by the name of Wanny. Kid is only 18 and I could really see him excelling heavily in this field. Come get you cuts at Shaving Art best in the business.
