The most professional auto repair shop I've ever dealt with. I actually heard the counterman talk a customer out of doing some expensive repairs because the vehicle had a lot of miles on it and would probably be in for more expensive work later. In other words, consider the vehicle may not be worth repairing due to it's high miles. I'm sold on these guys.

Please disregard all negative reviews. These are some of the best most authentic human beings I've ever met. They saved me thousands of missed opportunities by getting me taken care of. I still can't believe they charged me a very fair price. I've been through MANY mechanics, and these guys, by far, are the best.

Anyone on here giving negative reviews must have asked for their poor experiences. When will people realize that you give what you get. They gave me all the possible negative situations that could occur. But then continued to completely blow those possibilities out of the water.

I love you certified automotive. My person I spoke with was John, he was very fun on the phone, something completely unheard of in this industry.

I took my 1997 F-250 diesel in to have it safety checked and any needed repairs completed. I chose Certified Automotive because I read they have a good diesel mechanic. I am very happy with the work and service they provided. I was updated on everything they found and given an explanation of the work needed. The repairs were reasonably priced. I am looking forward to knowing I can safely tow my trailer and horse this year.

HONEST and fair! I deal with many shops being a fleet manager for a large company. This shop is honest and fair about pricing! Hard to find a great shop, try them out!

They will answer all of your questions and make everything they do very understandable. I trust them completely with my diesel truck.

COME TO THIS BUSINESS!! My husband and i came from bend and our windshield wipers stopped working! they got us in same day and were able to help us out so fast. They were so kind and attentive. they truly are some honest mechanics. i’ve never experienced such good service from a mechanic.

Reliable shop, great service even if you get bad news. One of my cars is older, so things need to be replaced.

Started coming in to Certified Auto with an old van I wanted fixed up. The van was old and rusty, and wasn't anything special, but right away they treated it like it was just as important as any high end vehicle! John and Misty at the front always made me feel comfortable and like I was in good hands, patiently explaining what it was they were working on in terms even I could understand, and being open and honest when they couldn't quite track down an issue just yet.

And when the van had a few issues down the road, they immediately jumped on it and got it running again ASAP, even though the issues weren't related to the initial work they had done at all!

Prices aren't the cheapest but they are fair, and the service they bring is top of the line. I've also been to enough cheap mechanics to know the value of one that knows what they're doing, and this shop definitely does.

I will definitely be taking all my vehicles here from now on.

New to Salem, I was a little nervous about finding a trustworthy mechanic. Luckily, I found this place. I was having intermittent engine trouble and they assessed and repaired the issue.

They were upfront about the costs (even came in under the quote) and had no problem talking and answering all my questions until I was satisfied. Worked incredibly quick and both front desk workers were nice, professional, and incredibly easy to works with. The lot is very secure and easy to access without being a problem for unsavory foot traffic.

All in all, they will likely be my go-to for as long as I am in town. I have only positive things to say about them and their employees.

I ended up needing an engine replacement right during all these shipping delays, so the whole process was much more difficult than normal, but John and the team at Certified Automotive Repair did an amazing job! They put so much effort into helping me figure out the best options and did amazing work when everything finally came in! Coming here for all my auto issues in the future!

I took my Toyota Highlander in for a checkup and was very pleased with the service. The inspection seemed quite thorough and the feedback was precise and helpful. I also had questions about towing a travel trailer and which vehicle would be best suited for the task. The information I received was comprehensive and helpful. And, the people who work at Certified are just really nice. I will be returning in the future.

Took my 2004 Ford Focus to Certified to find out why it had been running rough under certain engine load circumstances for a number of years. The techs figured it out and fixed the car at a reasonable cost.

As is often the case with older vehicles, you fix one problem and another one replaces it. That happened with the Focus. Aaron and his crew did an excellent job of tracking down what the new issue was and were extremely reasonable in what they charged for the repair. A great shop.

Started taking our 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan here earlier this year. They have been able to get the A/C working again at a very reasonable cost and take care of some other issues that develop with a 17-year old vehicle. They have been willing to work with me to find the most cost-effective way to take care of things. I'm glad I learned about them.
