Phoenix New Albany 16

I went in the morning. Staff was very kind and friendly. For someone with social anxiety, I love that they have an app to make everything go much more smoothly so I can purchase ahead of time and just scan. The seats were also very easy to find. My only gripe is that I wish the chairs were more of the recliner style. I would bring it down to 4 stars just because of the chairs but it’s on me for being big and tall. Overall this is a very good theater

Super friendly staff. Clean theater. Came in to watch Star Wars and I was greeted as soon as I walked in. The young lady behind the counter, Sharon I believe, was absolutely amazing. I'll definitely be back.

Had a great time tonight watching the premiere for "Come Out In Jesus Name". It was great and I believe many people received deliverance and freedom tonight. Super cool to see such a powerful and necessary movement of God within the body of Christ to set the captives free. Glad the theater let this happen.

A New Albany institution. This theater is a testament to the great strength and greatness that is possible for man, which was at one time more common. You dont see places like this no more. Ask for thd Sandy Special! Every body knows me there..

Love this theater! It is never extremely crowded. It is an older theater, but easy to get to and the service is always great here. The staff is very attentive and quick yo greet you. I get the monthly pass which is worth it, as I usually watch about 4 or more movies a month. The popcorn is real movie theater popcorn... love it! The best part is they serve Pepsi products and have Pepsi Zero, which is my drink of choice. The seating comfortable and the theater is always clean. Great place to take the family as they have an arcade as well and friendly environment. Excellent theater!

Very friendly staff, clean safe environment. We took our granddaughter to her first movie and the sweet young lady behind the counter went out of her way to make her first movie experience a special memory.

I’ve always loved this theatre, but Phenoix has really cleaned the place up! The floors are clean, the concessions appear more up to par and cleaner than before, and the whole time I was there, before and after seeing, “A haunting in Venice” there were employees sweeping and cleaning everywhere ! The theatre seats were clean, and I did not see a single crum on the ground, great work! Can’t wait to come back!

The arcade was great. Husband and I played old school Pac-Man, Air Hockey, and Raced Cars while we waited for the movie to Start. Staff was friendly. We went to see Venom Carnage on a Monday Evening 7:40 show. Surprised to walk in to find our seat and we were the only ones. Felt great. It seemed like we had a private show. Thought there would be more people there. We had an amazing date night. Thank you

I was very pleased with this theater, as it was clean, very open, and quick. A great alternative to the clutter of getting to Louisville theaters. They also still have snack specials.

A great place to see a new movie!
My movie theater for New Albany, Clarksville and Jeffersonville.

I paid roughly 50 bucks for movie and entertainment, however the air condition was broke, and they knew it before they sold us tickets. You try watching Kandahar in a 90 degree theater. And the place stank of urine. How do I get a refund. Someone advise me. Rotten, shame shame shame.

I really like that you can finally pick your seat through the Regal app for this theater. Combine that with their $18/month unlimited movies and I’m a customer for as long as I’m around one. The lobby is always clean and the workers are eager to help. I’ve never found a sticky floor or a dirty seat. Speaking of, the seats rock back but don’t recline or have tables, but that’s not the kind of experience I’m looking for, either. Just a free movie (after two, which covers my monthly charge) and then back out to take on the day or night.

We got their regal membership and as avid movie goers, it has saved us a lot of money. Theater is in better than average shape with an ample concession. Concession also does free refills on LG popcorn and sodas, making double and triple features easy to do.

First time I've ever been to a Regal Theater, it was nice and clean. Ticket sales appear to be kiosk or app only. Went and seen Topgun Maverick on a first date, the temperature in the theater was comfortable and the lighting was all the way down for the movie. There is also a mini arcade and typical snack bar items. Overall good experience, thanks.

I went to an afternoon matinee, the theater was uncrowded, so there was no assigned seating. I purchased a medium popcorn and paid for my ticket at the concession stand. The lobby and the theater were both clean and quiet.

Note: I really miss the prepandemic times, when the lobbies were full people who were excited and anxious to see the movies. The hum of voices and children's anticipation are missed. Just a thought.

5 years ago, this was my post: My favorite theater, so close to home. Always clean and well stocked. Friendly service and great movie choices.
Present day: Theater bought and changed to Phoenix 16 with no changes to theater as boasted. Everything has remained the same EXCEPT for food. Lower quality food that sucks! Seats were not changed to “plush seating” as advertised. Shame on you!

Super clean with friendly staff...just a really good theater to see a movie. Enjoyed it and definitely recommend.

I like the new seats!!! We don't go alot, so they might not be "new" but they were new to me. Very comfortable
