Blue River Trailhead, Boardwalk

My whole family loves the trail for so many reasons. It's close by and convenient to get out and stretch your legs or maybe ride bikes with the family. It's also very peaceful to strolling down it alone and just take in the sights that nature has to offer.

This past summer, high school art students drew butterfly wings on the trail with chalk. These were absolutely breath-taking and was a wonderfully creative way to entice people to get out and enjoy the outdoors.

My family also saw a whole family of deer across from the peer by the bathrooms once. It was a majestic experience tgat we won't soon forget.

A lot of changes have taken place in Shelbyville and it sounds like lots more are underway. The trail is one of my personal favorites, by far!

Great bike trails for light riding.

I was on muh bike so I had fun!

Great 10 mile ride on the Blue River trail system. Well marked with some points of interest.

Some trails along the river and a park with ball fields and a small playground. It’s not the best park, and not the best trail, but not bad for Shelbyville. There is a nice small boat/canoe launch that I’d like to try.

Not really a board walk. Couldn't find the trails. Basically a soccer park. Not really a green space
