Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

Dairy Queen may be short handed and it may cause some slow times during rush hour, but the employees hold them selfs together and they communicate about whose getting what and whose doing what that it helps the team to feel more at ease and not freak out so they can continue to take orders and make the ice cream and food and push it out to the customers. Dairy Queen is very old and needs some touch ups but the employees do clean and make sure it's not filthy. Dairy Queen may be expensive but all in all there is great food and ice cream. I would definitely recommend the Decatur Dairy Queen!! Go team!!

Good food. Good ice cream. They were out of gravy, but we're about to close. They offered a replacement and did not complain that I was coming through at 10 minutes until they closed. They explained there would be a little wait. I assumed that was due to already cleaning up, but it was worth the wait. I love their chicken strip baskets. Yum!

This DQ always has it together. Even when they are getting slammed they are still very friendly and sincere. They still take the time to ask all the questions. The food is fresh always too. Even helped me out one time when my toddler really wanted ice cream but I did not want them to have too much sugar. So they gave us a mini sundae. It was perfect.

I never gotten a receipt so I can't do the review on the Dairy Queen website. On Tuesday July 12th, I went to Dairy Queen and ordered some food as well as a couple blizzards. A staff member named Karen was so quick in serving me through the drive through and even was just awesome at doing her job. From what I'm hearing, someone was false reporting her causing her to lose some of her hours or perhaps even risking on losing her job. Unlike most of the staff there, she actually knows what she is doing. I hope that place does not fire her she's an awesome person and I would hate to see her go.

Love going here with my husband when we are out. It's One of our thing's we do. There ice cream is great and there chicken box is a great fast go for dinner can't go wrong.

This location has my favorite lemonade and always gets my order right and quickly. Great establishment, but pay your workers more! They deserve it.

I ordered a Banana Split Blizzard and asked for it to be chunky and Karen Brunner made it perfect for me, there was no way I could use a straw, which is how I like it.... She was very accommodating and VERY polite and also a great salesperson, she talked me into getting a large .

Every trip there has included very friendly service. Much appreciated to see employees taking pride in the job. They do a terrific job!!

The service was fast and friendly. The dining room was clean. The food was delicious. Fries and chili dog were hot. The ice cream was cold!

My friends and I stopped for lunch here after playing a round of golf. Their service was excellent as was their protocol for COVID-19. We would definitely stop again if we're visiting the area.

I stopped at the Dairy Queen in Decatur Indiana with my 4-year-old granddaughter, and she didn't know what she wanted so Karen made it a point to explain to her every single thing that was in an ice cream treat, and what she ordered she ended up loving, Karen made it extra pretty for her because she knew she had just had a birthday.

It's not always about the product it's about the experience.

Now every single time we drive by Dairy Queen she asks if Karen is working.

Nice clean cozy place. Wasn't very crowded. Food service was a little slow but was delicious. Interesting pictures on the walls.

I get hot food here more than other places I visit. Drink thru people always been nice to us. (Charlie Bassett hound and myself)

Staff was courteous and fast. I ordered online and had no problem picking it up as soon as I got there.
