Spring Family Dental - New Albany

I have been a fan of this practice for awhile the former dentist was amazing, so I was skeptical when Dr. Greenhalgh stepped into his shoes.

New is not always better when it comes to dentistry as it’s not a place that anyone really wants to spend too much time. But after two cleanings and extra checks, I can honestly say that she is a stellar dentist.

Professional, personable, and likable, she does always have the time in her schedule to have long conversations with every patient, but she genuinely means it when she says she cares. If you’re confused about something, she will stop and explain it. She is able to explain complicated dental concepts easily, she is incredibly talented, and (I believe) she’s a genuinely good human.
And while I want the literal best technical dentist working on my teeth, I love that she seems to be good people as well. She still feels “new” to the practice, but that will fade.

She is local to the community as well (which is just a bonus).

The office staff additions are top notch and will quickly put you at ease while still feeling like you’re in the best care possible. I’ve have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Greenhalgh and her team! 10/10 would recommend.

The perfect example on how a place of business or, in this case, a dentist should treat their patients. Everyone was extremely friendly and seemed genuine, which means a lot to me. This was my first visit, and I drove from Louisville after seeing all these amazing reviews. I had my teeth cleaned by Emily, who did a great job, and you can tell she's been at this for a while. Unfortunately, they found that I needed a crown due to a chipped tooth, and the price here was several hundred less! I highly recommend Spring Family Dental, and they are definitely my new dentist.

Upon arrival, I was greeted with warm, inviting smiles. From the front-desk teammates, to the dental hygienists, and dentists - the entire staff is EXCEPTIONAL! I was very appreciative of their attentiveness and care. They are all highly-skilled at their jobs. I also loved how transparent they were about add-on services and pricing.

This place is amazing everyone is so friendly! I was very nervous since I haven’t been to the dentist in years but they took great care of me and got me set up on a plan to fix everything! Would definitely recommend if you have anxiety about the dentist!

Great compared to other dentists! Respectful of health concerns, little to no pressure to buy products, constructive advice on dental & oral health without making you feel bad about your behaviors. They did seem a little heavy on the X-rays and pictures, but all the pictures are shown to you on the screen during your procedure & become part of your record. The kind & considerate staff are folks I look forward to seeing again.

Everyone from friends, family and customers have recommended here, and I am SO glad that I did. I let them know about my anxiety and everyone was understanding. They walked me through what I was doing asked if I wanted to see the pictures and xrays of if I did not. Gave me referrals to oral surgeons. I am absolutely terrified of dentist but I will be coming here regularly from now on!

From the initial phone call to my office 1st visit, these individuals made me feel at home. I was actually surprised but worth it. They showed me kindness from beginning to end. Even the tough conversation the financial responsibility. I would highly recommend Spring Family Dental to friends and family!

The whole staff here is amazing! Everyone is so friendly and caring. Dr. Greenhalgh is a great addition to the office. She is so gentle and attentive and she made sure that all of my questions were answered before starting any treatment. Spring Family Dental is my forever office!

This is the best dentistry I’ve ever been to. Every single person in the office was so nice and professional. The lady who cleaned my teeth took her time, and cleaned thoroughly around my permanent retainer. My teeth have never felt so clean! Dr. Garland is so great about explaining everything in advance. One of my old fillings had fallen out and they offered to go ahead and replace it during my appointment so I wouldn’t have to schedule and come back. My insurance is out of network with the office, but they made sure everything was either covered or they gave me an exact cost before doing anything! The office was clean, nice, and comfortable. This was my first visit, but I’ll definitely be a long term patient.

They have a great team! Everyone was friendly, yet professional and made sure I understood everything they were doing. I like the fact they give you a breakdown of cost beforehand so you can budget for the future if needed. Emily was great!

I took my 2 kiddos there yesterday for their cleanings..myself included! I can’t tell you how welcoming this staff was. My children felt so comfortable and enjoyed the whole process. My children are 5 and 3 so I was pretty nervous how they would act..we had no issues at all!
Now my experience was even better.. Dr Garland and his staff educated me on my teeth and how to properly take care of them. Having 3 kids it really took a toll on my teeth but Dr. Garland made me feel very comfortable with my treatment. His guidance and demeanor made me feel very confident with my dental care! I can’t recommend this place enough! We need more places and staff like this!! Couldn’t have had a better experience all around!

Dr. Garland is knowledgeable & conscientious of patients concerns & comfort levels in regard to pain, outcome, what to expect, etc.. he as well as assistant explain what they are doing step by step during the procedure. I feel he is an outstanding dentist & has a great staff too. I would & do recommend him.

Was a super friendly place! The second I walked through the door, my x-rays,cleanings and the chat with the doctor.

The staff will talk you through everything they are doing if you ask. They don’t make up answers, if it’s something they don’t know the answer to, they will find out,

The doctor did a great job explaining my wisdom teeth concerns. He is super kind and will take the time to break things down for you.

I really like the honesty and an environment that made me feel comfortable in a setting I don’t normally.

Dr. Garland and his team, especially Alonna, are amazing. They are consummate professionals that don’t talk down to their patients, explain what they are going to do, and why, and provide patients with a variety of options when necessary. Their work is totally top notch, and they frequently go above and beyond expectations. When they need to refer me to other professionals, I’ve been treated as a valued customer. I would recommend Spring Family Dental without any hesitation.

I hadn’t been to the dentist in several years and was feeling nervous about my appointment. Emily immediately made me feel comfortable. She took the time to thoroughly explain everything she was doing to my teeth, pointing out potential problem areas on the screen and answering all my questions in a way I could understand. As a plus, the dentistry tech was super cool!

Dr. Garland is very informative, thorough & friendly & the dental hygienist is as well. All the staff are very nice & they have up to date high tech dental equipment. For all these reasons, it definitely makes going to the dentist less stressful!

Fantastic experience! If you're looking for a practice that is efficient and caring this one is perfect. I've been to a few others since I moved down to the area in the last few years and none of them made me feel as comfortable as this practice. The team was very knowledgeable, the doctor knew about an issue I had mentioned to the hygienist just from looking at the xrays even before he came in to see me. The cleaning was very delicate, and they even knocked out a quick filling and got me back to work on time!

Can't thank them enough for the ability to breathe easy again when it comes to dental care.

Such a wonderful place to visit. Each member of the staff is exceptional from the time you enter until the time you leave. My teeth have always been very sensitive. Alonna has always been extremely good in taking precautions while cleaning my teeth, so that I am comfortable while in the dentist chair. It is always a comforting feeling when the health care professionals we visit care so much about the well being of their patients. That is exactly what happens when I visit Dr. Garland and his amazing staff at Spring Family Dentistry. Thank you to each and everyone of you. You are all a blessing to me and my teeth too.
