I had a great time at this restaurant. The server was great, portions large and the price was fair. We got the weekend special for $15.95: Cajun Chicken and Sausage Bowl for the entree. We got the $9.95 Beef Tips for the appetizer.

Food is always great here..beer on tap is also very good. Got a carry out 6 pack, which was very highly carbonated and wasn't that pleased, but overall a great place to stop

It had been a few years since I had been there so e recently ate there last Sunday. Beautiful day day outside. 4 adults and a 1yr old. Was reasonablly busy but got seated right away, and sat outside. Ordered loaded chips with pulled pork. Oh my way it a lot and good! It was more like loaded waffle fries. Then we each ordered something different. The burgers were sloppy but excellent. Mine was the Frisco burger. Loved the toasted sourdough bread. My sub got a NY strip of steak and loaded potatoe. It looked awesome. Some to his liking Nicely charred on the outside but pink in the middle. Highly recommended.

Oaken Barrell Brewing Company offers a large menu with variety. The star of course are their beers. I had the raspberry flavored one. Go for the tall glass! The food is pretty good too and they have a lot to offer. Our server was friendly and was able to answer questions and offer suggestions. We had a great lunch and will probably sit on the patio the next time around.

Excellent food and service. Priced reasonably. I had the pork tenderloin, my brother had the Korean quesidilla.

Our waitress was absolutely amazing. She was so prompt with everything and refilling our beverages without being asked. The food tastes incredible. I got the mesquite smoked ribs for my first time being there, but will definitely be back to try more of that extensive menu. The hot lava cake is a win and I'll get that everytime.

I came here randomly because of another restaurant being completely packed. Really glad that place was packed. Service was prompt, friendly, and helpful with my allergies. The beers were very good. The food was incredible. I had the sirloin tips app and fish & chips. The tartar sauce is next level, and I eat fish & chips a lot of places. I'm so happy I ended up here and will make it a point to come back when I'm in town.

Stopped in for a casual lunch. Our server Ryan was perfect. Very kind and got our orders correct. My husband had the fish and chips which he enjoyed. I had the black bean soup bowl (No Pico) and side salad (No Tomato). One ding off as under the top of the salad was some wilted/yellow lettuce. Plan to return with a bigger appetite so I can try new things.

We love this place! The service is top notch! Food comes out hot and delicious! Whether it's a cheeseburger and fries, a rack of ribs, a salad with soup, or just a beer and appetizer... they have what you are craving!

Love this place! We went on a Monday. Lots of great dishes under $10. But the beer is even better. My husband likes their IPA, Superfly and they make a raspberry wheat called Razz-Wheat that is absolutely delicious, and only $5 a pint! Service was great and our serverJen was a sweetheart. A truly wonderful experience and didn't cost a fortune!
Update: visited again yesterday and everything was consistent with my lrevious review. Consistently excellent, recipe for success!

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We started with the housemade chips and dip & the cowboy caviar. Both were excellent! I had the pot roast which was deep with flavor and a very healthy portion. My wife had the Cobb salad and she ate it all. The rest of our party had the shrimp pasta and the Frisco burger with fries. We all shared a fried cheesecake for dessert. We were all stuffed.

First time here, service was excellent. Had the Razzwheat beer-very good. Appetizer was Idaho nachos - really good flavor. For the main course had the fish and chips - fish wasn't bad, different than I was expecting, the fries were really good and so was the coleslaw.
Over all very nice place with good service and atmosphere, and very tasty beer.

My first time there and it was a very pleasant experience. Great menu selection and a wide variety of their beers. Come early it has a tendency to get very busy.

Delicious food and great service. Monday night is all you can eat ribs so it was super busy. We enjoyed a flight of their beer and of course we liked some better than others but your able to buy some to take home which will be great. Dinner was amazing-I had the buffalo chicken wrap and my husband had the claus sausage sampler which was more food than either one of us could eat. Our waitress was super good and the food came out quickly. Will be coming back again. Check it out it’s worth the trip.

I want to thank the staff & management for getting a table of 16 on a Friday night in. Thank you to an amazing bartender for pulling down strings. Celebrating a new Indianapolis firefighter tonight. We wanted to go to a locally owned restaurant. Our waitress was great !! We eat there a lot on Mondays with unlimited ribs !! Thank you again !

It's been a favorite for years. Have never been dissatisfied.

Second time here. Cowboy Caviar again! Oh my! Order something different off the menu along with dessert special! If you have not dined here you should try. The food and service is exceptional. My Uncle dines here once a week and loves the food. If you are a beer connoisseur I am sure you find a pint you will love. Alicia is an excellent waitress!

This is the place that started my love of craft beer - a friend's wife asked for suggestions to surprise him for his 30th birthday, and a coworker suggested this place. He liked the surprise but wasn't crazy about the beer, but I loved it! Even after trying hundreds of craft beers from around the country and even the world, Oaken Barrel is still one of the best out there. And to make it even better, their menu is so good, that even people that don't drink beer love going here, including the kids and picky eaters!

Absolutely love this place. Food is always amazing, service was great and prices are good with the amount of food you get. Would definitely recommend this place.

Food was great as usual! Got the same server as last time, Andrew was good as always! Definitely will be back! The reubens and onion rings are really good!
