Metro Bru

My experience was wonderful, the girls at the counter were super nice and all worked together to get me my food/drink faster. Breakfast sandwich was good, wish I knew the only option for meat was sausage, I like bacon more, but the sandwich is huge and worth the money. Lavender Latte was delicious. The only suggestion I would have to improve is to be careful how long to sit and talk with customers. I was on my way to work and the girl at the counter sat and talked to the girl in the car in front of me for about 5-10 min after she had already received her order, and if I hadn't left early that morning I probably would've been late for work. Overall happy and will be back.

Always a great time visiting Metro! Oat milk lattes are steamed to the perfect temp and sweetness can be adjusted to however you like so you can truly enjoy your drink. The barista was in a great mood early in the AM and offered fun chit chat while making our drinks. We got lucky with no line and had speedy service, thank you so much Metro Bru!

Favorite local coffee stand. There's no particular wow factor, it's just good taste, relative prices (why is sugar coffee expensive everywhere??), friendly folks, and some good selection of pastries. They don't make the pastries but hey they picked some good providers.

I moved to Eugene in 2022 and MetroBru quickly became my favorite coffee kiosk/shop in town. The drinks are always great - consistent with good flavor and careful preparation (I cannot tell you how many times I have been handed a leaking/drippy drink at Starbucks or Dutch Bros over the years, but this never happens at MetroBru). The staff is always super friendly - special shout out to Katy, Angie, and Mia. My personal favorite drink is the blended mocha which has some great espresso/coffee flavor, is never sickeningly sweet as some blended beverages tend to be, and is always perfectly blended without being too thick or icy. They also have a rotating "specials" menu for various seasons/holidays which are lovely and unique. I only wish they had more than 1 location in the area. Keep up the great work!

We found this place looking for coffee on our way to grab food and head to the coast.

We decided to skip getting food elsewhere and all loaded up on either the veggie or sausage breakfast bagel.

The dirty vanilla chai and spicy chai were apparently great, the Americano with oat milk was also good.

Breakfast sandwiches were huge fluffy bagels. We went on our merry way.. happy to it have to stop and contentedly fill for a couple hours.

I’ve been back every morning to grab coffee on the way to work and every interaction has been friendly and pleasant!

I frequent Metro Bru, everyone who serves me is always kind and on top of it! I see Katie most often, she is a kind soul!

The blended chillers are my favorite. They blend the ice so fine that it almost feels like soft serve. I did notice on a few visits that they didn't blend my chiller thoroughly and it made a big difference. The ice chunks gave it a sandy/rocky mouthfeel which was very disappointing. I'm still giving 4 stars for quality/service and I'll add one more if they can dial in the ice consistency consistently.

9/1/22 update:
Not impressed. I ordered a chiller this morning and it had icebergs in it (see pic).
I started going here because of how good the chillers were but I'm afraid they don't make it correctly anymore. -1 star 😕

The coffee beans are nicely roasted and have great flavor. The staff are friendly.

This place is my favorite coffee shop in all of Eugene/Springfield. I’m very particular about my coffee & I like it to be very strong. I’ve tried quite a few places and only 2 make Espresso Milkshakes. The other one was okay but it didn’t have a strong coffee flavor so I made sure to ask the barista if theirs was strong when I went to Metro Bru. She said yes but I was still unsure until I tried the drink. It is amazing!! It’s delicious & strong. It’s a bit of a drive for me to go here but totally worth it and the baristas are always super friendly. I’ve also tried their Italian sodas, smoothies, and the zucchini bread and those are great as well. The zucchini bread is really moist & on the days they don’t have it, it’s disappointing but I just get my regular espresso milkshake.

I was just coming here to drop a wordless 5-star review and then I got caught up reading negative comments from people... I go to Metro Bru every day, sometimes more than once a day. O_O Look I'm gonna say it: the customer is NOT always right. I had some other things typed up, but it sounded combative (and it was). Anyway, haters gonna hate. Keep up the good work Metro Crew (I just thought of that). Maybe this means fewer people in front of me ordering hot food on a busy morning. 😂

This is MY local coffee place! Love their coffee and i miss them so much when i'm on vacation (haha). The baristas are always friendly and pull excellent shots! My kids love their italian sodas, smoothies, and hot chocolates! My kids also love the baristas and we get to know some of them. They still ask about Taneka every once in awhile! :)

Favorite coffee in town! Everyone is always very friendly and our coffee order is always filled quickly and taste amazing. We have never had a bad experience. The line goes quickly as well so you don't have to worry about sitting there waiting to order for too long.

Super amazing service, great coffee

My usual weekend coffee shop was closed so I went to Metro. I have never been there but I think I have found my new spot. The mocha that I ordered was hands down the best I've had in the year that I have been here. I know that all tastes are different but, between the excellent coffee and friendly service, this is a great place.

Best Chai Tea Latte in Eugene & yummy breakfast sandwich too! The great people are icing on the coffee cake! Thank You SUPPORTING LOCAL COFFEE

I love the quality of coffee here. If you like a dark roast then this is your place! I drink decaf and I love it. The service is great too and they have trivia Tuesday's so if you get the answer right, you get an extra stamp on your loyalty card. Dont expect quick lines as this isnt a Starbucks but, it's a lot better quality in my opinion.

Best coffee ever. The best dirty chai with oat milk... Nicest people, and excellent service. Also had a yummy raspberry cream cheese coffee cake

The best breakfast I've gotten from a coffee stand, ever! I got the Asiago bagel with sausage egg and cheese.. Our drinks were made as we ordered, no errors, and delicious!!

They have THE best decaf americano I have ever tried, period. The beans they use are amazing, dark and really flavorful. This is not a trailer but a fixed building that sits just across from Dizzy Deans Donuts in case you want to do that (sidenote: decaf coffee there is a no go). The baristas that work there, most of them, are really friendly and remember who you are and remember your drink! It's like Cheers, but with coffee :)
They also have some great slices of zucchini and pumpkin bread along with the standard bagels and cookies... just a GREAT place to drive through.
