Sunny's Chicken Greenwood

I ordered lunch and I've had this chicken for almost an hour now, it is still piping hot and so fresh. I devoured the fried mushrooms before I could take a picture of them. This is the BEST fried chicken I've had since my grandmother passed when I was 10. This will definitely be my new go to place, the prices are amazing, the portions are incredible, and the food?? Baby you have to try it for yourself!

I got the 3 piece tenders combo. Tenders were absolutely delicious. Thick, juicy, fresh and hot. Fries were ok. Tipped and still had to go back for napkins. Skimpy with sauces but dang was that chicken banging!

I can’t believe I have never tried this place until today. The chicken was awesome - plump and juicy. The biscuit was great - brushed with honey. No more KFC or CFA for me. They just earned a new regular customer. Highly recommend. Can’t wait to try other items on the menu.

Kind of a little hole in the wall, but we'll worth the visit! I ordered chicken tenders and an order of fried mushrooms during my visit and they were some of the best fried mushrooms I've ever had! Definitely would visit again when I'm in Indiana next!

The Chicken is soooo good, light crispy batter.. had the bone in and popcorn chicken to satisfy the entire family. Mac and cheese mashed potatoes and green beans were also very good. No complaints! Our new chicken go to.. Sunnys! KFC who? Never again will I eat there it's Sunnys for us!

Amazing chicken. This is the juiciest fried chicken I've had in a long time. And paired with that Sunnys sauce... amazing! Only recommendations I have is get rid of the drink cooler and giant countertop and put more tables in. It would be nice to be able to eat there

Excellent food. The chicken is perfectly cooked. The biscuits and the mac and cheese are some of the best I've ever had. The tenderloin is awesome and it is massive. First time here but definitely won't be the last.

Sunny’s chicken is definitely a little gem hidden on US 31. I’m not sure how long they have been there. They have hands down the BEST gizzards and fried mushrooms I’ve had in a while. Conveniently enough they deliver through DoorDash , Grubhub, Menufy and Restaurant.com.They actually know how to package fried food so it doesn’t get soggy! I usually never visit a restaurant twice but I’ve already broken that rule here. They have both great customer service and food. Worth every penny. They are closed MONDAYS AND TUESDAYS but they have hours every other day of the week. Anja Approved!

My husband and I both ordered the #2 combo (2 pieces of chicken, side item, and a drink) plus an extra leg. They were short the extra legs, so they asked if we wanted to wait or substitute another piece. We opted to wait (about 15 minutes). They gave us extra legs because we had to wait. They didn't have to do that. They went above and beyond great customer service.
Highly recommend this place.

Absolutely LOVE Sunny's Chicken. We order at least once a month, and the fried chicken tenders and fried okra is a family staple!! We go boating almost every weekend in the summer, and we always order Sunny's chicken to snack on and it's even delicious cold!! Great little hole in the wall kinda spot. You won't be disappointed.

We had sunny chicken a week ago and they suggest to us to dregg the chicken in flour and it was amazing I loved it the best way to eat chicken in my book

Me and my family just moved to Greenwood we’ve been trying to find new restaurants we’ve seen Sunny’s chicken a few times and we finally went to Sunny’s chicken today, and I got to admit the chicken tenders were really good a little spicy but who doesn’t love spicy food! The gizzards were great too my mom absolutely loved them!! The prices aren’t the best but the food sure is good, the worker who was upfront was super nice too and didn’t rush us.

The man was so nice! I had just delivered food for doordash from there and looking at the menu I couldn't help but pause my dash to come back and try it. Amazing chicken! Highly recommend the popcorn chicken.

Sunny's is hands down the best fried chicken I've ever had.

Have not been to this location, but frequented the Westfield location before it closed. We're begging you, PLEASE open a second location in the Carmel/Westfield area! We miss you guys! We only have KFC and Kroger fried chicken now, and that's just sad.

In all seriousness, simply THE best fried chicken around. Hope you come back to the north side!

Make it yourself and it's expensive and you may sustain an injury. YES,I know that 100 years ago my Great Grandmother Mollie could and did go out into the yard and capture a chicken. She would have it on the table as Sunday lunch in 45 minutes flat. I don't keep chickens. I don't have the acreage. It's likely that you do not either. Head to Sunny's. Just get the chicken. Skip the sides. The place is take out only. It was very clean. The staff absolutely friendly and ON IT.

Well I don't like chicken livers but here they are very very great, chicken is always on point never greasy always just right, my opinion best fried chicken in indy. But try it for yourself!

Been there a couple of times, very good service and outstanding food! Just a little hole in the wall place, no dining in, but the staff was fast, friendly and hard working. I recommend the fried mushrooms.

Best chicken tenders I've ever had! Sunny's Spicy Smooth sauce is great too. Livers and gizzards are unique and delicious; definitely give them a try! Can't beat the prices considering the awesome quality of the food. The staff is so friendly and the atmosphere is really cheerful.

Best chicken tenders I have had in a year! They were absolutely perfect. It has been a while since I was last there and I'm super glad that I went back again!
