Friend's Diner

A quick lunch right before the eclipse, we were in a bit rushed, but the service was outstanding and short. Our meals came out in a timely manner and flawless. Meals were delicious, and I hope to come back once again.

I've been wanting to try this place for a while and finally gave it a go.

The restaurant is quite small, however, it was very busy when we went on late Saturday morning. We only waited about 10 minutes before we were seated.

I cannot remember what it was my husband ordered, but whatever it was, he had nearly a half pound of bacon on his plate! He got his eggs cooked over-easy, and a side of biscuits and gravy came with his meal. He seemed to have liked it.

I ordered the Sunshine breakfast. It also came with a side of biscuits and gravy. They gravy a little too thick for my liking. However, it had a good pepper flavor. The bacon was thin and crisy; prepared like it was microwaved.

Two things my husband and I agreed on is that the bowl of gravy should be a little bigger (left our biscuits pretty dry), and the hashbrown casserole was the best we've ever had! Even better than Cracker Barrel.

We'll be back.

The food is good ol' home cooking. The menu is huge. The prices are truly affordable. The service...Darlene is the BEST! Cinnamon French toast with cinnamon apples. So so good! Bacon cheeseburger was not a run of the mill burger. Obviously handmade. Moore meat then bread. Fresh toppings...YUM.

But don't expect a lot of atmosphere. It's kind of like having dinner at a friend's house. Besides, you can't eat atmosphere.

I had heard great things about this place, and I tried it. The food servings are big, and the food was good, but I definitely didn't need any more food after that meal. The service was good, she kept us up to date with our order and kept our cups full. The building was nicely decorated with rustic wall paintings and rustic decor. The only thing I didn't like was the volume of the music - it was kind of loud. I would probably come back.

Visited a few days ago and got my meal to go. Fast friendly service and reasonable prices. I got the breaded pork tenderloin and it was very good. Would definitely visit again if the opportunity presents itself.

From the staff to the regulars to the food here, everything is warm and very 'Southernly hospitable'. Food was fresh and didn't take forever, the server was kind and patient with my children. The food was DELICIOUS. This very well may become a new favorite spot🙂

I love the restaurant and the food. Ask to be seated at Ashley's table. She is an amazing server! The gravy and biscuits were so good! 👌 You won't be disappointed!

We came across this little diner by chance and were very pleased we found it. Good homemade meals with a variety of options. It was hard to choose one item. The staff was pleasant, helpful, and patient. Portion sizes were good, and the pricing was fair. Be sure to have dessert. Recommend the steak and chicken.

Friends is a great name for this place. It has a comfortable down home feel.The food is as good as moms home cooking. The menu offers lunch as well as dinner portions. Huge portions. A quiet place to visit and relax. If you have room for it desert is delicious!

Fantastic all the way around from wonderful waitresses to wonderful food. Such a variety of things on their menu, which I love. I have had several items on their menu and have loved them all. They definitely have comfort food items. That being said, I do kind of wish they would add cooked carrots to the menu as a side item. 😊 No complaints from me, though. The people there are just so humble, and real. I love this little diner. ♥

Oh my full belly of deliciousness!!! Wow great place! Huge portions of food and a menu with a wide variety to please anyone's particular yummy pickns. The service was great.. prompt, friendly and very helpful. Clean, bright and comfy facility. A great local home cookn restaurant you should definitely visit!

The BPT was average, French fries Luke warm and tasted freezer burned
Everyone else at the table other thing and theirs looked very good. I even got an order of the chicken and dumplings to go. I will return, Just not for fried foods, I kinda think one of their problems was the grease and the temperature they fry at?

First time eating here and we are completely full and satisfied. The service and the food is phenomenal for a small hometown style diner. The prices are great too. A special thanks to our waitress for being patient with us and for her friendliness. Friends Diner gets two thumbs up. 👍 👍

The Swiss Melt Burger was delicious. After the first bite I was hooked. The juicy burger flavor was accentuated by the sweet caramelized onions, and the tangy 1000 Island Dressing on perfectly toasted Texas Toast. The onion rings were perfectly cooked and had a nice crispy outer crust. My son enjoyed his cheesy quesadilla. Our server was friendly, attentive and helpful.

Great place to eat. Very friendly staff. Food is always good. Highly recomend.

Ordered the Friends Omelette w/ Biscuits & Gravy and a Fruit Cup. It truly was one of the best breakfasts I have ever had the pleasure to enjoy eating. First time ever trying them and will be back soon again for sure. SIX STARS if I could!!!

First time going here. I loved it!! There prices are very reasonable and the food was delicious! Home cooked and everyone was so friendly. I love spending my money at these small town diners where they deserve it more than big franchise places. Thank you Friends Diner for a wonderful evening. We will definitely be back!
