Portillo’s Indianapolis-IN

I've had Portillo's in Chicago and the food here is the same. If you've been to one you know what you are getting and it's good. I really enjoy the hot dogs, Italian beef and the chocolate cake. The combo of tomatoes, pickle, peppers, relish in the hot dogs work so well. The fries are tasty too. The service though, I felt was great. From the enthusiastic staff taking the orders and other staff around the restaurant, they were all nice. I'm glad they have locations further away from Chicago as it was a nice break on our drive home. It's a favorite of ours. Try it out if you haven't. It's pretty much a Chicago institution

This was our first time eating at Portillo's. The food was great and the staff went out of their way to answer questions. They even gave our daughter a first time visiting sticker! Must get the cheese for your fries! I ordered the chili cheese dog.

As a Louisville resident I have finally found a reason to visit Indianapolis. This place is single handedly keeping this whole city afloat. Probably the best restaurant in Indiana.

First time there. Had lunch with my Granddaughter and her Grandpa. Food was hot and delicious. Had a Greek salad with their dressing and was not disappointed. Granddaughter had chicken straps and French fries. She enjoyed them. He had a bacon cheeseburger with everything and fries and liked it. The sourdough bread that came with the salad was tasty. He ate it I didn't need the extra calories. Lol. She lived the atmosphere and kept asking questions how they got the stars up there and other hanging items. Great place.

Cant go wrong with anything off the menu! Strawberry lemon cake shake is amazing! The original cake is always a winner. Chopped Chicken salad is my favorite.

Incredible place!! The inside is stunning with old time decorations, inviting atmosphere. The staff is wonderful and very respectful, David was walking around greeting and speaking with each guest, and directing help where it was needed. Fast and easy ordering, and the food is delicious !!

First time at a Portillo’s and I was not disappointed! I’m from Atlanta so this spot was new to me. I ordered the #5 combo (Italian Beef & Sausage Combo w/ sweet peppers). The sandwich was delicious and the fries were good! You get a huge portion of cheese to dip the fries in, which was a surprise compared to other restaurant chains. Big fan! I’ll be returning next time I’m in town! Friendly staff at this location as well!

It feels like you're eating the physical embodiment of perfection. The workers are so nice and the atmosphere makes me feel like I'm the most important person in the state, 10/10 would eat again (very soon)

Jordan provided excellent service and was very attentive of our group. He provided us with ketchup, straws, cutlery and even offered to pick up our trash. Thank you everyone at Portillo’s for your hard work and great tasting food!

Mind-blowing interior design! Food is great as always. Tried their lemon cake for the first time and it was the best!

This was tasty. The restaurant was very clean and good customer service. My husband has to come here every time we’re in town.

Folks working all seemed to be enjoying their shift, which made for an enjoyable experience for everyone in the restaurant. Food was great, enjoyed it here in Indianapolis more than I did the last time I had Portillo's in Chicago if you'll believe it. Will stop in next time I'm through town.

Great Chicago style food, super fast & service was good. The buser working the dinning room was so polite & helpful.

Great burgers chicken sandwiches and hotdogs. Friendly staff. Their burger is probably one of the best burgers I've had at a restaurant. Everything is always Super Fresh. They need to put chili cheese fries on the menu. If you would like to make your own ask for a side of chili with a cheese cup. Amazing!

So happy to see this place come to Indy! This place is, and will be, busy. Its for a reason though, cause the food is spot on. There is a good variety of food available so there's something for everyone. The staff is a well oiled machine. These folks are good at what they do!! Don't sleep on the chocolate cake y'all, pick some up. My choices were the dipped Italian beef (don't be scared, give it the old dunkaroo, its worth it) with hot peppers, a classic chi-town dog (please no ketchup), and a nice big chocolate malt to go with my chocolate cake. My wife had the chicken club and it looked great as well. Looking forward to future visits to try their other offerings.

I ordered the cobb salad for the first time....highly recommend. Husband had burger and fries..always fresh. Big proportions.

Service is always a little slower inside due to drive thru lines being prioritized. The food is always amazing though.

What a fun place to eat. Lots of cool interesting things to look at. I would like to decorate my house away they decorated the restaurant. Although I probably wouldn't be able to fit a vehicle inside my home for the decor. Also you might be wondering is the food good? Well guess what, it is. And they have things like burgers hot dogs pasta and really good desserts. I like to eat desserts but because of that I weigh more than I should. That may be more information than you were looking for but I thought you should know
