Sundance Wine Cellars

Wonderful, curated wine collection that includes a ton of local and international wines to choose from. The staff are extremely knowledgeable, but approachable, so even if a wine novice, they'll be happy to help you find something great that fits your budget and palette. I love Italian wines which are often hard to find in grocery store sections so I was very impressed to find them here at reasonable prices in such a down to earth local store. I highly recommend attending their free tastings on Fridays and Saturdays where they invite different wineries to show off their vintages and often include themes such as Tuscan night. Can't recommend enough for anyone looking for a bottle of wine whether it's for a special occasion or a quick bargain buy.

A wonderful place to shop for wine! The staff are all very knowledgeable, but very down to earth. Whatever your price range they have something that will fit your taste.

One of my favorite places for wine Eugene. The weekend tastings are thoughtful, fun, and always worth it. Especially love the the Super Pours, a great way to try rare or aged wines I might usually be able to afford.

Great customer service here. I’m not a huge wine aficionado, but the woman working made me feel welcome and taught me about natural wines while helping me find a bottle to compliment my dinner. They also do tastings, although I’m not sure what the status of that is as of COVID. Definitely call before you go and ask for advice, it’ll cut your shopping time in half.

Sundance has been one of THE retailers of wine in Eugene for over four decades. No where in Eugene will you find as robust or well-rounded selection of Vino.

Awesome little (big) wine shop tucked away behind the nearby Sundance Market. Huge selection of reasonably-priced wines from multiple distributors, they claim they've got the largest selection in the state. While that's questionable, I have found a few gems on the shelves that I would have difficulty finding elsewhere. You may be able to find some of their selection cheaper elsewhere, but you wouldn't be shopping here if you were just looking for cheap wine. Probably ('Don't tell me how to live!!' he screams at anonymous google reviewer).
They have several wines 'on tap' and offer growler fills - yes, of wine - and do special tastings and events on a weekly basis. They have somewhat limited parking but there are other lots nearby and street parking just around the corner.
As always, the final factor comes down to the staff and the general service, and Lisa has always answered my questions and helped me find exactly what I needed. The other guys are helpful as well, but Lisa brings her dog to the store so she gets the nod.
5 stars. Hands down the best wine shop in Eugene by all metrics - selection, service and atmosphere.

While on a business trip this past week, a local resident informed us that the Sundance Wine Cellar was a 'must stop'. I'm so glad we did! Randy, the store manager, gave us a wonderful sampling and provided thorough and excellent information about the wines and growers. The wine was delicious and cost was very reasonable. I will definitely go back when I visit Eugene!

Vegan wines are easy to locate in this store since Randy has taken the time to label them. So helpful!

Free wine tasting on Friday and Saturday evenings. IMHO it's the only real wine store in the area. Wide variety in regional, varietal, and price with weekly specials.

Sundance Wine Cellars have the best selection of high quality wine at an affordable price. Thay also have a nice selection of meads and sakes. I highly suggest them to all my local friends!

It's impossible to comment on Sundance Wine Cellars without noting the exceptional staff who make the stop more than worth the time. The store offers a large selection of wine, tastings, and staff like Randy who was generous with his knowledge and time, and couldn't have made our out of town group feel more welcome.

A huge selection of wine. Tonight I purchased a domestic sake produced in Oregon, very nice. Wine connoisseurs will love this place.
