I attended intensive outpatient group therapy half days, 3 times a week during July and August of 2018 and found it very helpful. The staff is superb, and although the group of people rotates in and out slowly, it was very helpful to hear their stories. I highly recommend this program.

Am thankful to the staff for their expertise, empathy, patience, and many kindnesses; as well as the structure and help they provide to develop healthier routines of behavior to better identify early warning signs of any irregularities in our perception of events.

I did the PHP & IOP program(s) a few years ago. It was a good, solid program and was very helpful.

I’d give them 5 stars, but I knocked one star off because I didn’t like how they discharged me. I showed up to the program one morning thinking I had another week or two left, but they essentially just said “Congrats, you’re graduating today!” and that was that.

I wasn’t ready, and they absolutely should have given me more notice. I’m sure it was at least partially (if not completely) an insurance issue, but the way they handled it was less than ideal and quite hurtful.

But again, the program itself is very helpful. I wish there were more programs like it in this area!

their flyer for their inpatient behavioral health services says many things that are not a reality for people that go in there. I have a loved one who went in there and I called before they went in to ask questions. Their flyer and the person told me that there is a team of people for each patient and they are going to work on a plan for them and make sure they have aftercare and also while they're in there they're going to involve family and friends to try to have a holistic picture and plan for support after they get out.

What actually happened is my loved ones family member got one phone call from a social worker who did not know a few things and my love one got prescribed drugs and left with a prescription that no one has followed through one to see if it's a dosage that needs changed or if perhaps the drug needs changed. No one is checking on them to find out if they're having a reaction, which they are actually.

Basically It seems that the flash and the ideals written in the pamphlet are not a reality for patience. My loved one felt that they went in there And basically waited days to even get treatment and then waited around for something to happen that never happened… They felt ignored and they felt that it wasn't a safe or good place.
It's really unfortunate that people experiencing severe mental health issues need to go into this place, and have to go to the emergency room first in order to get there in order to see a psychiatrist or get aftercare and then going through all that end up finding out that the after care they're supposed to get doesn't really exist or is one month out and no one's going to check to see if The medication is working or problematic.

Don’t go here. Opt to go to Cedar Hills in Portland. I have the Peace Health Patient Portal and the notes and summaries the staff left were mostly inaccurate. This is a depressing place to recover and they could do so much better.

I was not improving at a speed quick enough as decided by the director. He was very dismissive and essentially ran me out of class. I didn't get to finish my program because I felt unwanted as well as pathetic. I'd skip it if there is another program that you can attend.
