La Casa Tapatia Mexican Restaurant

All the food was great. Their guacamole was legit. We had read one bad review saying the food was too sweet and Americanized, but we found it to taste plenty authentic including being able to order in Spanish.

I do hope they switch to something other than Styrofoam for to-go containers. Maybe they'll read this review and make that change. I highly recommend!

Chicken en mole enchilada dinner. Yumbo. Drinks are great too. In woodland washington, definitely try this place out. Consistently good.

My husband and I came here for lunch today. We had the chicken and shrimp fajitas. The staff and owner were very friendly. The restaurant was clean and inviting. The food came out fast and both my husband and I thought it was delicious. We will definitely be coming back again.

This is my new favorite Mexican resteraunt on west coast. Service is fast and wonderful. Food is exquisite. Staff is hospitable and brings me back to Puerta Valarta every time I eat here.

We came to La Casa Tapatia for my husband's birthday and it was fantastic. Everything was great! Especially the atmosphere, the food and the cool robot that brings the food to the table 😯 Order the queso because not only is it delicious but the bread they serve with it is AMAZING! Also the sweet surprise at the end of the meal. We will be back!

This has to be my favorite place to eat. I bring my family & friends here almost on a weekly for a lunch/dinner date. The service is great! The owner always comes out to say hello and to ask how we are & if the service/food/drinks is alright. They treat you as though you are family here. & they strive to make sure your visit is enjoyable in all ways.
I will continue to recommend this place FOREVER!!

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant. This is where I take friends when I want them to be happy. Excellent service and I have never had a meal here that I wouldn't rate as a 5 star.

Always good. The patron platter is amazing, we usually share it and get something else, chicken wings are also a staple! Yum

We came here on a whim for the first time tonight, and I have found my new favorite Mexican food restaurant. The flavor and quality of the food were both superb. I ordered the carne asada burrito. Often, many places will use cheap steak, but this was quality meat and true carne asada. The guacamole was fresh and delicious (and they gave you a good amount with your meal). The salsa that comes with the chips is on the spicy side, but I'm not complaining! The wait staff were friendly and the overall experience was great. We are not local, but we will be making the drive whenever we want Mexican food!

Absolutely amazing lunch. Food is divine. Fresh guacamole made table side. Staff is incredibly friendly. Highly recommend. First visit but I will be going back for sure.

Great good, good came very fast but we were the first guests of the day. Thing that got his 5 start review was free guacamole made in front of your car in picture!

Service was a little slow outside but the employees were wonderful! Food was good but I prefer more flavor in salsa (it was the perfect spicy level though!). Burrito de la casa was delicious and a little sweet. I had a good time.

The most authentic Mexican food I've had in 6 years!! My husband had the Authentico tacos which are street style tacos. 2 tortillas gently wrapped around a good portion of carne asada (steak) topped with chopped cilantro, onions and cotijo cheese. Complete with a side of beans and rice.
I enjoyed the Carnitas (pork) burrito with sauteed onions. It comes with green peppers, but I asked them to leave them out. They did. The onions and meat were perfect. Topped with cheese and a sour cream on the side, as well as beans and rice. Have yourself a bottle of Coke or Orange Fanta straight from Mexico made with real surgar cane. Super yum!! All in all a delicious meal! We'll back again and again!

The tacos here were off the charts! Wifey got the fajitas and couldn't finish it. My sister in law got the spinach enchiladas and was surprised because never saw that anywhere else. Unfortunately it is in a podunk town off the I5, and people were staring but the waitress was good, and would go back.
