Safeway

The Woodland Safeway has 2 areas of the store where you can see they go above and beyond to provide a great selection and great service to customers. Those areas are floral and produce. The floral department area is put together beautifully, with the perfect mix of house plants and fresh bouquets and arrangements. The only downside is that the items in floral are way over-priced. It's really a shame, I would buy so many more plants from this store! The plants dont say the name of the item, just "foliage," which is a little strange 🤔that may just be the nursery that Safeway buys from, too. Great job to the staff who set up and maintain the department. The other area I thought top quality was the produce section. The freshest produce in town and a huge selection. They always have things I've never tried before.

A favorite place to shop locally! The staff are so friendly and helpful! If you're a smart shopper you can save a lot and earn gas rewards as an added bonus! Not to mention their gas prices are usually the lowest in town. There's an employee Named Edward who is an outstanding example of excellent costumer service.

Tremendous service. The young gentleman mopping was willing to check for something in the back and had no issues doing so, after a long shift.

The manager was kind and helped me use my digital stuff.

The young man working in the deli making sandwiches On tuesday january 23rd at 345pm .. Shaggy hair under his hat. Made the most delicious sandwich i've ever had in my life. Nothing like having a late lunch, And having a sandwich that was so delicious. I appreciate the thought Of even offering olives.. The perfect amount of Mayo and mustard.... He should get a little sandwich pin for his name tag ha ha. Thank you.

The atmosphere is dank and dark, in the fresh vegetables are dank and dark as well. It's one of the worst Safeways I've ever been in, but it seems to be characteristic of a town that exists on both sides of an interstate freeway, lots of drugs in the parking lot, lots of poor people and lots in a very few very wealthy people. Typical of the divide that is growing wider between the haves and the have nots in this country. The safe way tends to gather everyone here including the homeless and the very wealthy and management just seems to go with the flow of whatever's happening

Great deli. Clean bathrooms. Lots of great produce ready to eat. Easy on and off access from the freeway. Five stars easy

His Safeway continues to offer exceptional customer service! Thank you James (in produce) for procuring the watermelon variety bowl for us. Your extra efforts are appreciated! Sharla was our cashier, she was helpful and friendly. As mentioned before, we live closer to Longview - but prefer this Safeway = It’s all about the folks working here -that make shopping here such a pleasant experience.

We’ve been to the Safeway store several times. It is always clean, very well stocked and the employees are terrific. This evening at the deli I was assisted by Cameron who was kind, professional and friendly. Every time that I have shopped here check out has been a breeze, even during peak hours.

Always clean, stocked, and friendly staff. Decent prices. Produce and meat are always fresh.

The grocery store is clean, and they have a nice variety of products. Their prices are high, but their specials are incredible. Convenient location and hours and mostly friendly staff. Good rewards program.

Milk was super easy to find and there was plenty to go around. They had those chocolate covered donuts as well. Love those guys!

The Safeway is always clean and the produce is always amazing looking, people are friendly. Keep an eye on sales and coupons because they get some amazing sales on there Meats and Deli counter!

Clean store, very organized, and helpful employees that always seem to have a smile on their faces. I can get in and get what I need without any angst, and on my way quickly.

We stopped in for some ice cream. The Safeway store brand is rather good and not too expensive. They usually have a good selection. This time there wasn't much variety. But we found something that we liked, lemon cheesecake.

The store was clean.

The parking lot was cared for and clean.

We didn't bump into any employees and went through the self checkout.

It would have been better it They had had some of their chocolate cherry ice cream, it's wonderful but we enjoyed what we got.

As usual Safeway earned 5 stars. I recommend this place.

Woodland Safeway was great except for the guy that we asked where something was and he just pointed and said 'over there'. Thank goodness there was only one isle 'over there'.
Check out lines were long, under staffed for a dinner hour, but the cashier Kelli was warm and friendly. Thank You Kelli for your great service!

This is my local store that I shop at. They have a wide variety of choices to choose from and the veggie section is always top notch. Using the just for U app saves extra money which is needed with today's prices.

This is a clean store that is well-staffed with friendly employees who are always willing to help if needed.

The bakery associates heped me out of a pinch a few months ago when I almost forgot a birthday. They let me pick some cupcakes and wrote on them, right then! I left the store within 15 minutes with what to all appearances was a dozen custom ordered cupcakes.

The parking lot is well lit and pretty clean, though they do let derelict vehicles sit for a long time, which is at times unsightly.
