Penske Truck Rental

What an amazing experience! We booked a truck here at the last minute after experiencing a bunch of issues with Uhaul*. It was our first time at Penske and the whole experience was super smooth, and the guy at the counter was friendly and helpful. The truck was clean and drove well and we moved everything and returned it to the drop-off without a hitch. Fantastically easy moving day and SO much better than trying to deal with the hellscape that is Uhaul. Thank you, Penske!

(*Uhaul, without asking, converted our reservation to a broken self pick-up process and then was unavailable to help when it didn't work. Their app was terrible, their website was just broken, and they have several unstaffed "ghost" locations around town that just leave you hanging when stuff doesn't work... and it never does. Their customer service called back the next day after I had already canceled, but then rebooked us for the wrong time again. AVOID those Uhaul self-pickups at all cost. Use the big location on Hwy 97, or better yet, just use Penske.)

Our company has been using Penske Truck rentals....they haven't failed us yet. You can depend on them. The only thing I can see for improvement would be the maintenance guys need to make sure the windshield cleaner is full.

When we arrived to pick up the truck we had a long wait...they need more counter help. The gal at the counter was very sweet, but not very knowledgeable! She also didn’t help us with the car carrier. She told us she could only tell us what to do to get my car up on the carrier and that meant that every time we had a question , she told us to watch a you tube video on it! Finally after about 30-45 minuet of my daughter and I trying to figure it out a guy in a Penske shirt pulled up and physically helped us. So we were finally about able to head off on our adventure!
