The spicy fish soup is sooo delicious here. It’s got a nice heat to it. I don’t usually like spicy food but this is perfect 👌🏻 My pickup order was packed with care. My favorite Chinese food in town. Very good customer service.

We drive all the way from Indianapolis to eat here! It's not only our favorite Chinese restaurant, but our favorite restaurant over all others!! Service is genuine and attentive, and the food is as fresh and authentic as it can get. My girlfriend and I ordered probably 10 different dishes to sample their huge menu and the bill was incredibly affordable. It's truly hard not to drive there right now.

New owners, same great food. Lots of good stuff not found in other restaurants in town. (Not sure about the crackers and plum sauce, though--they seem very old-fashioned American Chinese food.)

This is a fantastic place for authentic sichuanese food. They have a few of your American Chinese favorites but you should Branch out and try something new. Shredded pork and garlic sauce, any of the griddle cooked dishes, and the skewers are amazingly delicious!!

We have tried a majority of the Chinese restaurants in Bloomington, and Gourmet Garden is easily at the head of the pack. Service was good, the wait staff who were not fluent English speakers were patient with us as we asked about the menu and different dishes, and the food was EXCELLENT. Very big portions, and the flavor was great. Gourmet Garden is going at the top of the list the next time my wife and I crave Chinese.

By far the best Chinese restaurant in town. I cannot recommend this place enough. We come here at least once a month and are never disappointed. The eggplant in garlic sauce is to die for.

Great food, and friendly staff. Very authentic Chinese food from the Szechuan region. They sell fresh coconut water in real shells - and pineapple smoothies in real pineapples. During the school year it is always packed.

Amazing authentic Szechuan food in a small but inviting dining room. Service from the warm greeting when I walked in to the friendly good bye. Food came out extremely fast and perfect, despite the bustling lunch crush. The Kung Pao sauce was fiery and soft at the same time. Just what I needed on a cold day. This is a new favorite restaurant!

Authentic, delicious, and vegan friendly. Edit Sep. 2021: There have been changes to the menu and, I think, the chef(s). It is still excellent, but not as good as before.

Great authentic Chinese food. Many Chinese restaurants in town claim they specialize in Sichuan food, yet this is doubtlessly the best.
