Gills Point S Tire & Auto - Bend

I brought my car in here to get my studded tires switched onto my rims so I get can over the mountain safely this weekend. I just want to say the customer service here is unlike any other shop I've been to! I received a call and they informed me that I needed an oil change, which I absolutely did, but was not aware they did oil changes. I received another call saying that I desperately needed my brakes replaced, which I knew about but had not previously had the funds to do so. Luckily this time I did! I'm extremely thankful and impressed by the work they did, without gouging me! They finished working on my car before they closed for the day, which I thought they would have to keep it overnight. I have always been impressed by these guys in the past, and am beyond thankful for the work they did. Thank you! You have definitely gained a life long customer!! Tyler was the guy who helped me directly, and was also helped by another guy, but i feel bad because i didnt get his name! Thanks guys!

I've been into the shop twice needing minor fixes, break lights and re-connecting my windshield wiper hose. Both times they've fit me in the same day and done my repairs in 15 minutes or less at no charge. After pretty horrendous dealership experiences, Gills is quickly becoming my go-to shop.

These guys are great. Made time for me on a Saturday. Great customer service and I like that they do more than just tires, they offer other repair and maintenance services which is nice.

Super fast service! Felt like I had driven into a NASCAR pit. Four guys were on my rig in seconds and I was out the door in less than 15!

My vehicle feels 100% better after Gill's helped find and fix the problem I was experiencing (in some of the steering and carriage behind the wheels).

No need for an appointment for a seasonal tire change over. I go 1st thing in the morning.

They got me in and out in less than half of an hour. Great service and friendly staff. I needed 2 tires changed from 1 set of steel rims onto new aluminum Weld Wheels I called another tire shop that is closer to my house but they told me I would need an appointment and the next opening was 7 days out!? For a simple 20 minute job. I called Gills at 11:30 Saturday morning and I was told that they close at 2 so if I got there before then they would get me taken care of no problem at all. Thanks to Gills the whole family got to go cruse in our 66 Chevelle SS.

Best prices in town. Staff really knows tires and was super friendly and easy to work with. We'll be back for sure!

I can't say enough wonderful things about the guys at Point S. My boyfriend and I both took our cars in last week - I had a nail in mine and a rusty nail in his. They told us to come in without an appointment and had both our of cars done in no time.

I had to come back this week to have breaks replaced (once again, no appt needed). Initially we thought it was the rear breaks but the front ended up needing to be done as well. They charge $500 for breaks but since they had to do both front and back they gave me $100 off the service.

HIGHLY recommend these guys if you need any work done.

Good group of guys. Fun, good jokes, nice to have a little fun when doing business.

I Saw the service manager handle an unhappy customer right before me as well. It can be tough, but the manager was courteous yet firm about what could be done. He gave him options, and backed it up with reason, but the customer wanted them to "take 5 minutes and look at it. That's what a guy on the phone said you could do."

"I'm sorry if someone said that was possible over the phone, but it wasn't me and it wasn't my counter guy. I am the manager, and I know my guys. If we look at it, which I know will take more than 5 minutes and it needs to be fixed, then you are going to have to leave the vehicle. Currently, I don't have any techs available or an open bay, and it will be a bit before we do. If you can leave the vehicle, we can look at it and help you figure it out."

Customer left unhappy, but sometimes the truth is not what people want to hear. Reality of the situation though, was that if they had dropped everything to help him, it would have negatively impacted many other customers. It's a busy time of year for tires and suspension work.

I dropped off my tire then picked it up a few hours later, good as new, and I was welcomed with positive attitudes just minutes before the store closed.
