The Gordon Hotel

The Gordon Hotel is a lovely place to stay. Our room was clean and well thought out, and also had a coffee maker and mini fridge.

The main lobby space is open and welcoming, and goes straight through to a shopping area.

The hotel facilities are lovely too. It comes with a fully equipped gym with weights, treadmills, and machines.

Our recent stay at The Gordon Hotel in Eugene, Oregon, was nothing short of wonderful. From the moment we entered, the beautiful lobby set a welcoming tone with its elegant design. We were pleasantly surprised by the complimentary drinks and snacks offered, a thoughtful touch that enhanced our experience.

Although we encountered a hiccup with our room's air conditioning, the hotel's response was exemplary. Their prompt and efficient service was impressive; a friendly manager arrived quickly to assess the situation. When it was clear that the issue couldn't be immediately resolved, the staff kindly offered to move us to another room. We appreciated this gesture, but having already unpacked with our two dogs, we chose to stay put. Understanding our situation, the hotel went above and beyond by offering us a complimentary meal from their delicious restaurant, along with a bottle of wine. This act of kindness truly exemplified their commitment to incredible customer service.

The room itself was fantastic, equipped with everything we needed, including a freezer and mini fridge, which were very convenient. Despite the initial issue, the overall comfort and amenities of the room made our stay extremely pleasant.

We are already excited about planning a return trip to The Gordon Hotel. The surrounding area of Eugene promises more adventures and fun, and we look forward to exploring it more extensively. The Gordon has become our go-to accommodation in Eugene. The location is fantastic. The vibe is fantastic. The rooms are stylish and well appointed. The on-site restaurants hit the spot. Above all, the staff is very welcoming and friendly!

When the great ice storm of 2024 hit Oregon, power was out in large parts of the Eugene/Springfield area. After enduring a very cold night without power, I decided to stay at a hotel(that had power). Fortunately, I was able to find a room at the Gordon Hotel in Eugene. The room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and most importantly - it had power! While my home was without power for several days and the rest of Eugene had intermittent power outages, the hotel was never without power throughout the time I was there. The staff were professional, friendly and accommodating as I had to keep extending my stay because the power had not been restored to my home. Most businesses were closed due to the power outage and the icy road conditions, but the Gordon Hotel and its restaurant was somehow able to stay open and staffed! In spite of the difficult situation everywhere else, I had a very pleasant stay at the Gordon. I would like to thank the valets, restaurant, hotel and house-keeping staff for their excellent service!

I spent 3 nights here during the ice storm, January 2024. The staff was unbelievably helpful and friendly. I would give the valet's extra credit for their service. The spent hours out in the ice scraping and warming cars up, and I never saw or heard them complain.
The room was a single king very comfortable and well appointed. There was a pseudo balcony with double doors that opened to a view of the commons across the street as well as 6th Street.
That being said, the hotel tavern was one of the few places that was open and had full service. I essentially never had to walk out drive anyplace in the ice because the hotel had everything I needed it wanted.
I would like to thank the Gordon and especially the staff for taking care of myself, the guests and the other storm refugees.

I love it's close to train station. Austin, Patrick and Mary at front desk are always so nice and kind. They are always smiling and make you feel so welcome! The free snacks are nice too!

Great place to stay. Love the valet parking. The rooms are fabulous and I appreciated the complimentary water and snacks. We will return. Carlita's Bar is wonderful food and drink.

I love The Gordon Hotel so much, my home away from home. There is a great shuttle service, close to everything, excellent and friendly staff. During busy weekends in Eugene like university move in or football games, it can be hard to find rooms and prices go up everywhere in town. Outside those times, it's easy to book and prices are reasonable. Fun restaurant in lobby level and a rooftop spot too!

Great hotel. Staff are friendly and greeted us with a complimentary glass of wine. We sprung for a king deluxe balcony room. Room is beautiful 😍

Great service, great location to the Hult Center for a concert. Both restaurants are perfect and walking distance to the 5th St. Market.

Rooms are nicely appointed and comfortable if not a tad small. Juliette balcony helps increase the space. The water pressure in the shower was pretty disappointing however. All else was great.

This hotel is in a wonderful location within easy walking distance of the 5th Street market shops, good restaurants and the Saturday market. If you haven't been to the Saturday market, I would highly recommend a trip to Eugene for that purpose; the market area is clean, lots of vendors, easy to get around and most of all very friendly!
Back to the hotel, staff is excellent - very friendly and accommodating upon arrival. You are treated with a glass of wine or beer at check in, which is a nice added touch. They have snacks and sodas out as well, again, all these little things go a long ways.
The room was very clean and nice. I know others have complained about train noise, but actually it is a non-event, and I'm a light sleeper. The traffic noise is louder, but what you would expect in any city so again not an issue. The beds are very comfy!
There are a couple of bars and restaurants located directly in the hotel, as well as a "hidden" speakeasy, which I'll say no more and you'll have to find on your own!
All-in-all a gem of a hotel and one that we'll be returning to on our next trip to Eugene. I don't think you'll be disappointed if your next travels take you here!

Beautiful boutique hotel, luscious rooms, top notch service. Zero complaints! Ordered room service from the restaurant downstairs and it was amazing, brick oven pizza and some terrific craft beers. The only place to stay if you travel to Eugene!

Price was good for location and last minute planning! Staff was without exception polite and super helpful. As musicians we travel a lot and so have a lot of experience with local hotels- the Gordon is def out new eugene fave and I’ll be keeping an eye on reservation costs going forward!

The best hotel in Eugene! The rooms are luxurious, with perfect bedding, large tiled bathrooms and amazing products. They took the time to read my booking notes and upon check-in, informed us they’d upgraded us to their king suite for our special birthday celebration. BTW, the suite features a absolutely insane bath tub—definitely worth the upgrade. We can’t wait to visit again!

Relaxed, clean, professional staff, great food right in the lobby, and valet parking. That checks off all the big hitters for me. I'll stay here again.

Stylish boutique hotel with personality. You’re offered a drink at check-in, and invited to help yourself to the free snacks adjacent to the front desk. The rooms are well-appointed and welcoming. Whatever the thread count is on the sheets, they felt like a million bucks! There’s a Keurig with securely capped, hotel-distilled water for use. We enjoyed dinner on the rooftop restaurant, which has a great view of Eugene. Nearby is Magpie Coffeeshop, which has a great breakfast. The only criticism is that our soap dispenser in the shower was practically empty (we had to use the little bar soap from the sink). Seems like an easy thing for housekeeping to stay on top of. When we left we expected the valet to be outside, but it turns out we were waiting a few minutes for no one; he was inside. We’d love to say here again.

When walking through the doors, you receive a greeting as though you are an old friend with complimentary wine or beer as well as snacks.
Location is prime for Eugene surrounded by shops and restaurants. With the alley entrance out the side doors.
The rooms are quaint with tv,wine fridge and a nice open floor planned restroom with great water pressure.
They have individual ice bags on every floor in freezers.
Everything about this hotel boasts individual touches that important details that give you a personalized feel.
