Indiana Pancake House

I come to the Indiana Pancake House frequently, when I am back home to visit family in Decatur.
I definitely recommend the omelettes – made with FIVE eggs and plenty of ingredients inside as well! I also love their grits as a side – you get a big bowlful! I ALWAYS need a to go box for my extra food. Coffee is very good. Prices are so reasonable for the amount of food that you get. Service is usually very good, but sometimes it’s just really busy. This is simply a very large diner, so 5 atmosphere stars, because it doesn’t claim to be anything else.

I just wanted to share with you what a great experience my family (Saturday morning) and I had at your restaurant yesterday for breakfast. Our waitress, she was Hispanic girl with glasses with red hair not sure of her name, but she was absolutely amazing! She was so attentive and made sure we had everything we needed, even giving us some great recommendations. The food was delicious and came out so quickly, we were all impressed. We will definitely be coming back soon, thanks to our wonderful waitress!

I was invited by my former client's wife and cherished friend to have a day outing in Decatur. Whilst there, my friend's family member suggested we have lunch at the "little diner just down the road". This diner is a full--fledged restaurant with just about any cuisine you'd ever be hungry for available. The building was clean and every employee greeted us with a smile on their face. My friend ordered a Belgian waffle with strawberries and whipped cream with a large Diet Coke and I ordered one of the Breakfast Skillet meals with eggs and potatoes with a side of raw onion and a large Coke with no ice. The meals we were served was so eye pleasing and perfect. The Belgian waffle had just enough whipped cream to cover it but, it worked for her. My Breakfast Skillet was full of diced potatoes covered in shredded cheddar cheese and topped with 3 perfectly made eggs with plenty of yolk. The entire meal was just a little over $23 and we left a $5 tip. I will definitely be back and I know my friend will be, too! 10/10

Enjoyed the all you can eat fish dinner. Couldn't eat any extra fish due to large portions of the meal. Came back following day for the Tenderloin Sandwich, very tasty! Plenty of food for your money!

First time ordering a take out order. The meal was great. Service was quick, and the waitress was very friendly. Of course I ordered too much food! Leftovers warmed up nicely. Oh, and the salad 🥗 was delicious!!! Perfect amount of spice on the chicken!

Great food and great service! Great breakfast or a burger in the morning! Whatever the case may be they have good food and it's not just breakfast food that's good! It's all good!

Great service. We arrived at 6am just as they opened. I had the Corned beef skillet with pancakes and my wife had waffles with Cinnamon peaches. Both were excellent and plentiful. For the price you can't go wrong.

What an interesting little find in the town of Decatur. Such a diverse menu you would not suspect. Decided to go with the gyro PETA fries and a salad. Definitely could have just picked the fries or the salad because that was a lot of damn food. The hero is of great size. And everything I noticed coming out of the kitchen looks pretty damn good.

The Greek omelet is so good.
I drive through Decatur every morning
and like to order this by phone,
Then pick it up to eat at home.
The biscuits are good, too.
The menu has many choices for breakfast.

Everyone has a smile and an upbeat vibe. Great food, prices and atmosphere. Quick service.

Visited in a Sunday, it was very busy. Worth the wait, Coffe was Hot and fresh, ordered a skillet and omelette with French toast. Everything was hot and delicious. Destiny was our waitress, very professional and efficient. Definitely will come again.

A favorite stop in the area, a wonderful environment with a nice home-made meal. The good is good, I highly recommend the bacon pancakes!

Excellent local diner. They have far more items than pancakes - I enjoy the omelettes and skillets, but the salads and sandwiches are great too! Large portions for reasonable prices!

Not a 5 star luxury place, but it was still great. Got a platter with eggs, hash browns, and chocolate chip pancakes for under $15 after tax. Worth it if your in the area, won't be disappointed
